Pelosi, don’t limit the scope of the Impeachment Inquiry, nor set artificial timelines! Have thorough investigations, following the evidence wherever it goes. Let all six committees committees fully complete their work before drawing up Articles of Impeachment. But, first, call for a full House vote for the Impeachment Inquiry. If there are Dems that still don’t want to Impeach, lean on them… threaten to call them out individually in the press as facilitators of Drumpf’s corruption. Do your job as Speaker!!!

@JC X By the way, a large part of the reason for having an Impeachment Inquiry is the fact that, being specifically put into the Constitution as Congress’ last resort in dealing with a Federal official unfit for office, it has more power than a normal legislative investigation. You mentioned, “There haven’t even been court decisions(,) yet.” Part of the purpose of upgrading to an Impeachment Inquiry is to keep Drumpf from tying up every subpoena in the courts, which he hopes will allow him to run out the clock. Even Drumpf-appointed judges would be hesitant to try to justify hearing a case to block a subpoena from an Impeachment Inquiry, since it would unequivocally be going against the intent of the Constitution.
I’m sure Pelosi knew Drumpf would challenge her Impeachment Inquiry on the grounds that there was no full House vote. And, I’m sure it’s fine with her because she’s not really trying to facilitate the Impeachment process. She wants the appearance of taking action, while still letting Drumpf carry out their joint desire of him running out the clock.
We all have opinions. Your feelings towards Pelosi are clear. I don’t happen to agree.
Trump’s ability to stay in office for 3 years despite gross ineptitude and corruption, racism and lawlessness, shows a deeply, deeply flawed system of government with terrible consequences for people at home and around the world.
