    1. 26.67% to 25.42% with 86.12% reporting. It’s at 1.25% . Interestingly and not reported is what counties are done and not done. Most counties supporting Pete are done, a lot of Bernie counties are only at 75%. It should get closer and end under 1% in either direction.

    2. Another fun number to look at is the first vote popular numbers. Bernie has a much larger lead there. It’s only after voters supporting non viable (under 15%) candidates are asked to switch to their second choice that Pete catches up. Pete’s a slightly more popular runner up, Bernie is a significantly more popular first choice. No conspiracy theories, this is what the raw data says. Completely ignored by the media, including this channel.

  1. So can you guys have a panel explain why we dont use the popular vote in the Iowa caucus? Why should the person with less votes receive more representation at the national convention?

    1. @looes74 looes74 You asked: *”Does it really matter?”*
Yes, of course it matters if you care about fair and honest elections.

    2. @Jon Stone it only matters if u can overhaul the whole system but unfortunately folks like u are not helping. Look as if trump will win big because of idiots like u

    3. You would, of course, be saying the same thing if it were Bernie ahead in state delegate equivalents at the moment. Right? Beyond that, the guy with fewer (not less) votes is NOT going to get more delegates at the national convention. Both Bernie and Pete are likely to come out with 15 each. Unless you are prepared to carve a delegate up into little pieces and murder him/her in a “pound of flesh” process, so that someone gets 14.65 delegates to the national convention and the other person gets 15.35 (I’ll take that leftover Klobuchar delegate leg, please), you have to deal in whole delegates. The two candidates who are virtually tied are going to get the same number of whole delegates to the national convention, which is where it counts. Could we move on to NH and beyond? We should get rid of the Iowa caucuses because the IDP seems too incompetent to run anything. Have the Sec’y of State run a presidential primary with some other scheduled election. Secretaries of State know how to do their jobs and counting votes from one to a zillion is something every person understands.

    1. María Martínez // Most other civilised countries just have the popular vote, and vote for their party and politics. Period.
However. Fingers crossed though that Sanders can snag some of Warren’s voters. They are close to her, and really she should fold in the interest of America I think, handing the votes to Bernie Sanders instead.

    2. @Mr Judas Some candidates don’t like the elite either. What neither side seems to realize is that they need each other and both groups of voters to defeat Donald Trump in November. There is no split in the GOP, you’ll notice.

  2. Behind the app that delayed Iowa’s voting results is a dark money operation funded by anti-Bernie Sanders billionaires. Its top donor Seth Klarman is a Buttigieg backer.

    1. Buttigieg will win because he knows how to play the game. You don’t win elections by appealing to the people, you win elections by appealing to the donars.

    1. He would need to be a credible journalist first , you can see he is bought and paid for by the corporate world in all his reporting

    1. I want to know why folks are claiming victory before all results are in? Looking at you Mayor Pete and Bernie!

  3. Chuck you need to correct your statement that Pete is now leading in popular votes. Jesus man. Stop being such an establishment hack. You just look silly.

    1. wait until hillary enters the race and chuck slobbers all over her and she beats bernie for the nomination. gonna be unbelievable

  4. We have a candidate who has been consistent for years—Bernie! However we always screw this and go for the centrist who stands for nothing.

    1. Bernie is only supported by dirty hippies and communist Jews. Buttigieg is a brilliant speaker and will make an amazing president.

    2. Elmer Goering that’s interesting because I’m neither of these. I’m actually a professional with a large amount of money in investments. Somehow I support Bernie. I guess you have it all wrong.

I’ll vote for Pete if he gets the nomination but I don’t care for his wine cellar private fundraisers. Follow the money…

  5. WOW. A whole video of them hating on Sanders.
Dont they know this type of talk proves the bias and makes more people want to vote for him.

  6. Wow can’t believe how the news is soo committed to denying Bernie! Honestly I watch MSNBC all the time but man, I’m losing trust and respect.

    1. Plants of America It’s great that Americans from all walks of life are being “awakened” to these “news” networks. They’re propaganda machines.

    2. @Chris Nenshati Trump lied that he would bring the troops home. Tf! He promised Medicare for All too. He lied about both of those promises. Plus is using his properties to get more money by sending US officials to stay in his hotels. He filled his government with many swamp people. He has his family members working for him the government as advisors. One of the most, if not The Most corrupt president of the United states.

    3. Plants of A – You watch MSNBC all the time, and you are JUST NOW losing trust and respect??? Usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
