  1. If impeachment were limited by the rules that Turley proposes, no one could ever be impeached. There would be no point in having that option anymore.

    1. This was over when the transcript was released and everyone got to see that the whistleblower made a bunch of false claims. Everything after that has been the Dems interfering in the 2020 election, literally.

    2. No high crimes or misdemeanors on part of Trump – Only those who tried are attempting a coup against POTUS. Left loses Yet Again. Time for a reality check and emotional counseling because treasonous left are going to Gitmo.

    1. @4c1dr3fl3x – Choice words from the all tolerant woke crowd. I would tell you to perish in haste as well – but I am more mature than that – though obviously it is the only kind of language you understand, being “non-violent” and civilized.

    2. Annie Now, Lindsey is saying he’s “1000% sure” that Russia meddled in our election. Now says Ukraine had nothing to do with it. It’s so difficult to keep up with the lies and then, inevitably, the backtracking.

    1. It’s called another opinion. So far the process has been very one-sided. I take it Fascists are comfortable with that.

  2. Listening to the republicans defend trump made me want to throw up. I have a difficult time listening to so many people knowingly give up their souls to defend trump. I didn’t need to watch the hearings to know that trump is a terrible human being. Every time he opens his mouth he proves he has no right being the head of our government. He is evil and demented and the fact that he has the republicans following him into the abyss in terrifying. So many lives are at stake. The constitution is at stake. Insanity has become an epidemic. What is the antidote?

    1. Dave Schultz
      Lost loved ones to illegals?
Losing a loved one to anyone is the horror that is the cages with children in them at the border.
Beg to differ on what this is really about.
      Racism & fear.

  3. It’s “narrow” bc Trump is trying to obstruct the process and deflect/distract from the facts every single day. It’s “narrow” bc we need to keep reminding the complicit Republican party that facts matter and the facts are that Trump used the office of the President to extort Ukraine with the sole intention of using it for personal gain. He cares more about himself that he does about the 350 million American citizens and he has proven it to us over and over again.

  4. Yeah, amend the constitution and make it clearly that a sitting president can be indicted and convicted by a normal court.

    1. The bigning and fall of democracy in United States, if the Congress constitutional power to oversight is compromised to protect the party or any individual. It’s really disgraceful.

    2. The only ones amending the Constitution so far have been Schiff and Pelosi. Very dangerous for the country. Americans should really look at what they’ve been doing. If you don’t pay attention to politics, now’a the time to start paying attention. Image you got accused by someone, you got to court, and they told you that you were not allowed to call any witnesses unless it was cleared by the prosecution and that your lawer is not allowed to cross examine the accuser? Well, that happened and its messed up. No matter what party you lean towards, no matter you age or race or gender you are, i think we all can agree that that’s messed up. Time to pay attention!

    3. OH THATS REALLY SMART
SO HUNDREDS OF CASES CAN BE FILED AGAINST ANY PRESIDENT BY ANYONE
SO IF BIDEN IS ELECTED CAN HE BE INDICTED FOR CORRUPTION IN UKRAINE AND CONVICTED?

    4. thiskidkatits What are you talking about? Republicans were allowed to call their own witness and they called Volker, who did them no favors.

They stormed a private hearing while their own members were already in the hearing. In fact, some people who stormed the hearing had clearance to be there and stormed it nonetheless. Let’s not forget people complaining after that fact that the public hearings should have been private.

WH blocked witnesses with first hand information from testifying and Trump and his legal team refused to participate and issued statements to that effect.

I don’t think we’ve been paying attention to the same thing here bud.

  5. cultists are never persuaded by a logical argument. the reason should be clear. they wouldn’t be a member of the cult in question if they were susceptible to one.

    1. @David M oh don’t be such a sh*thead. There ARE no communists left in the world ffksake. Who is the satanist? The lowlife swine who grabs women by their genitals, mocks disabled people and locks up little children separated from their parents?

  6. By Turley’s measure pleading the fifth with failure to comply constitute grounds for immediate acquittal in any court .
The subpoenas which he alludes to have been issued and have been serially ignored per the Whitehouse’s instruction .

    1. There is no legal basis to respond to the subpoenas….until there is a VOTE in the house, all subpoenas are irrelevant. Just like your opinion.

    2. @NPC#8675309irrelevant but correct as indicated in Judge Jackson’s opinion in the matter of Committee on the Judiciary v. McGahn , pertaining to the legal standing of a congressional subpoena.
      Guess her opinion trumps yours.

  7. Department of Forensics MUST double check every case referencing Prof Turley!
Oh, how so many are willing to dive under the bus to prolong the reign of “Our Dear Leader”!!
Trump courted the DEMS for years, but they never even gave him a seat on a convention platform!!!
    – time will fill in the rest . . .

    1. he will get his KARMA KISS someday.
and like the saying “we’ve all got it coming!” his will be a big huge kiss.

    1. Blondie SL , not opinion
It’s a fact at the last hearings , it was all opinions being voiced , not one of those “ witnesses “ had any proof to back up their statements
Today was nothing but opinions on the previous opinions

    2. @Saynoto Socialists leave them all be. These sheep are all brainwashed already…nothing that you say will change their minds. I personally don’t like Trump. I’m an independent and it’s going to be independents like me that will be voting for Trump because there is no way in the world I can stand with any of the Dem candidates (except maybe Wang, but we already know he won’t make it because the MSM censures him and his message) and the far left socialist type ideas that they stand for. The facts are the dang facts and the MSM is twisting it all and the sham circus committees omit any language in their reports that state the facts of all of this being ‘hearsay’ and ‘opinions’ and passing this onto these sheep as the facts that they continue to brainwash them with day after day after day until in comes to November to keep their own brainwashed base. Bad news though: the African-Americans base they had is slowly being swayed and independents clearly see through all this smoke and mirrors. Who knows who else, but the people are not all dumb and brainwashed. These polls are again all fake about the majority wanting impeachment. Unless some bomb drops, this is a landslide win for Trump and the MSM as well as the Dems will be the cause of it. Perhaps it is not too late to concentrate on the candidates, their message and etc…? Bahh, who am I kidding

    1. @Dave Schultz They are going to have smoke even more weed and apply Preparation H to their tongue and lips daily.

    1. @bob jenkins Oh, are you talking about the person trump and his stooges want outed so they can smear, destroy and ruin his or her career, like they did to Ambassador Marie Yovanovich?!!

    1. @2bRealist Too be honest he’s just doing what lawyers do. There are lawyers on either side of a case, being paid for making their best case for their clients. Turley couldn’t make much of an argument. But he tried.

    2. @David M That’s a non-factual statement. They were all present to give their interpretation of the law, which they did. You (probably not a constitutional scholar), have simply made a typical, tribal, non-objective assertion….a sadly uninformed one.

  8. Turley was an embarrassing embarrassment. Talking about dogs and irrelevant waffling. Not one single argument that wasn’t Trump’s own fault.

    1. Meanwhile, Gaetz asks the legal scholars to raise their hand if they have first hand evidence or testimony. None raised their hand. Of course none raised their hand. Their not there as fact witnesses. Their their as expert witnesses to test and apply the facts to the law. Well at least three of them were doing that, Turley was there to talk about how angry his dog is at the impeachment process.

  9. In my opinion, Turley is wrong that impeachment must have a “crime.” When that language was inserted into the Constitution, it wasn’t ratified and there were no federal crimes. I don’t find it credible that the Founding Fathers would have inserted an undefined word, given how careful they were with everything else.

Also, I didn’t find the panelists as helpful in understanding “impeachment” and “high crimes and misdemeanors” as the document “Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment” that was used for the Nixon impeachment hearings. This document is available from Representative Zoe Lofgren at https://lofgren.house.gov.

  10. Turley said in a sentence : my old friend Bill barr….
Why did no one ask if he talked to his old bud, who lied twice to congress, before the hearing
