  1. Why Not Having The Orange Turd Testified In Person and under Oath, just like Clinton did? Oops, of course his defence: “He doesn’t know them or he didn’t tell them to do what they did.” 🤔 😂🤣

      And he’s STUPID.

    • Trump would lie under oath, just like he did when he was sworn into office!

My guess is he’d start screaming like Saddam Hussein did during his trial. Those psychopaths are really all alike when you boil it down

  2. Republicans need to step up for America, not their re-election campaign. Period

    • @Downright Dutch OK COMRADE

    • @Fred A They’re going to dismiss is because there is no evidence. Funny how you willingly accepted the House’s judgment that he was guilty, which was a partisan vote by the way, but you then chide the GOP for a partisan vote of acquittal. Hypocrisy.

    • @Richard Hunt The response of a person with no facts.

    • @Holmes245 No facts ?
You mean Alternative facts don’t you ?

  3. Nixon impeachment: “The Cover-Up is worse than the crime.” Oh how History likes to repeat itself. It’s making Nixon look like a Saint in comparison.😈

    • @D SP And how is Trump obviously covering it up?

    • C H Given that Nixon tried to claim Executive Privilege as reason for not complying with a House subpoena of the Oval Office tapes and the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that Nixon had to comply with the subpoena, I don’t understand how Trump’s failure to comply with the subpoenas of documents and his block of witness testimony isn’t automatic grounds for removal from office given that SCOTYS has already set the president regarding the President being required to comply with a subpoena in an impeachment proceeding? In a regular court case, a defendant would never win an acquittal by not complying with a subpoena of documentary evidence. When the defendant fails to meet the subpoena deadline, the judge throws the defendant in jail until they agree to provide the subpoenaed information. Once someone doesn’t comply with a subpoena in a normal court case, the failure to comply with the subpoena becomes the #1 issue in the case and whatever the defendant is charged with effectively gets put on hold until the defendant complied with the subpoena. But until the defendant is willing to comply with the subpoena, they sit behind bars

In this impeachment trial, Republican Senators are going to allow Trump to be exonerated by not complying with subpoenas of the very evidence that is proof of the crime or wrongdoing. If this is allowed to stand, then impeachment will not be possible for any future president, as all they would have to do is keep the evidence hidden by not complying with a subpoena and this Senate will have made that precedent available as a defense.

    • @Holmes245 an innocent man does not hide witnesses and documents to prove their innocence.

    • “I’m not a crook.” = “The call was PERFECT!”

    Republicanism: “It’s all about ourselves.”

  5. The show is actually being run by #MoscowMitch who is going to keep this foul fountain running as long as he gets more federal judgeships and he protects all of those involved with Russia/Ukraine such as Senator Ron Johnson, former congressman; Dana Rhorbacher from here in Orange County, California; congressman and committee chairman Devin R. Nunes also from California. As for Bolton’s book; that would be the least of my worries if I were #MoscowMitch. Another exposed flank for the Republican Party, the Trump team, and the democrats as well is the hints of involvement with Epstein and his island. The situation is therefore something like having 2,000 KG anvils dropping all around you and what do you do next. Republicans have not even publicly disclosed or acknowledged the fact of involvement of the above named individuals — a bridge yet to come if the impeachment proceedings are allowed to go on. Since the start of the Trumpian mess back a few years ago; we have been trying to figure out what movie we are in. Looks like this one is Polanski’s “Chinatown” — the deeper one goes; the more ugly and horrific it gets; making one wish that they never found out in the first place.

Just make sure it looks like a fair trial ! How about making it a fair trial.

  8. It’s pathetic that we have to wish for some type of miraculous safety cover to protect the GOP senators who decide to do the right thing. The GOP is driving this bus over the cliff! Gutless swine!

I don’t know why people find this “great American Divide” so hard to understand.

These republican GOPer’s are doing exactly what their religious leaders have been training them to do, for decades…

    -Never recognize your own bias.
-Never consider ideas in degrees of certainty, only Black and White certainty
-You should only know the truth that we teach you, others are lost. So, don’t listen to them.
-Avoided using Reason, use Faith instead.
-Make irrational excuses when faced with undeniable facts or evidence that refutes your beliefs. (Cognitive-dissidence)
-Replace your Critical-thinking with Wishful-thinking. (gullibility)
-Nothing ever really matters long-term, because a better, second life awaits you.
-Always feel insecure and guilty. Unless, you’re with us.

People wonder why Republicans are messed up??

I’ve been expecting something like this, since I saw the 100’’s of thousands of cognitively impaired (Gullible) people, worshiping Sarah Palin. Like she was somehow comparable to Anne Sullivan or Marie Curie.

Yep… It’s taken 40 years. But the Republicans have done a real number on America’s brain state.

    • If you said evangelical (vs religious) I totally agree with the points you made.
Good fair minded religious people of all stripes would not support such an immoral and vile person as trumpy.

Yep, the NBC APPRENTICE STAR. Idiocracy in real time. He’s pandering to the creationist nut jobs during this Senate “trial.” The Republican lawyers sound like they’re preaching to choir of Fox Ministries.

  10. Clearly the senators are more concerned with their own profits and not to the truth.

  11. Kobe Bryant–2017– “A #POTUS whose name alone creates division and anger. Whose words inspire dissension and hatred. cant possibly “Make America Great Again!”

  12. Im one of the 70% that want to hear the witnesses & documents . O’Connell will be remembered 2020 , it’s going to happen again in the senate! Republicans are making mockery of our democracy & Constitution!

  13. Don’t try to give us hope they’ll have a fair trial. That’s just cruel at this point.

  14. Its gonna be up to Americams to save this democracy the founding Fathers created. #DonaldTrump and his sycophants leading democracy down the rode to dictatorship if trump is not removed America will pay a price for his lawlessness and lying ways

  17. I never would have thought I’d be cheering for Mitt Romney.

    • TDS dies that to idiots. Good luck with that

    • @foreigner fan One, Foreigner sucks.

Two, Romney is voting for witness. Collins and Murkowski have indicated they’re leaning toward witnesses.

After Collins, Romney and Murkowski, there is a larger group of GOP senators who have publicly or privately expressed concern over Trump’s withholding of military aid to Ukraine and his attempt to persuade Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to conduct a corruption investigation.
The group includes GOP lawmakers such as Sens. Rob Portman (Ohio), Ron Johnson (Wis.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Marco Rubio (Fla.), and Lamar Alexander (Tenn.), who is not seeking reelection.

And, that was before the Bolton book news was reported.

Three, if Putin’s Orange Hand Puppet is innocent, why wouldn’t he want witnesses to testify?

    • @Sun Wukung Lol Cuckoo. Good luck with your TDS. Cheers

    • @foreigner fan Why are you so scared of witnesses? And, whatever happens, Foreigner still sucks.

    • @Sun Wukung I want witnesses because the Democrats are going to be made to look worse than already. But I appreciate you trying to think for me. Cheers

  19. Nixon is looking down on all this and smiling.

“I’m no longer the worst President ever!”

    • He was no longer the worst when Bush left office. Now Bush is no longer the worst.

    • Carter is angry because Obama took the worst president title from him.
