  1. Absolutely well said to the restaurant owner! Because mostly, someone is limiting the testing, to don’t make his numbers of infected people increase! Unfortunately!

    1. @Running Bearski …if you only test people that are showing symptoms then how do you contain it? Theres more people out there showing no symptoms that have the virus than people that are showing symptoms. The more testing the better. Why do you think we do cancer screenings? We dont just test for cancer once somebody is showing symptoms. Use your brain. This is all commonsense.

    2. @William H yep. It’s easy to get a test when you’re a Hollywood actor working in a different country that has enough test kits for all citizens.

    3. @Running Bearski The virus can be spread by infected that are asymptomatic. How does somebody know they were exposed if they are around infected people that don’t show symptoms. Viruses don’t fit the convenient factors that you laid out in your comment.

  2. Maybe some sort of national healthcare system paid for through taxes would be a better system? Nah, human lives aren’t worth the trouble.

    1. Maybe you should criticize a democrat for once. Maybe your party shouldn’t have went all in on impeachment they could’ve seen this coming

    2. @J Bell Just trying to save a country. The man is unfit to lead a school PTA, let alone a nation. Wake up and get a better definition of ‘leadership’.

    3. @J Bell Lol, that is why we are trying to get an independent elected. Maybe if you stopped thinking in terms of party people would take you seriously.

  3. Straight talking, and great attitude to others, not self centered. At the moment self centered doesn’t work.

    1. @J Bell You don’t have to be a prisoner. You can still go out for walks. Chat with your neighbors, etc… A lockdown would help the country!

    2. @David Allred It will save lives while we are trying to kill the virus! Italy wishes they had acted a lot quicker. Look at all the death there.

  4. Help the little guys like this couple. The cruise lines and airlines can fend for themselves.
We can afford to give them a hand up.
These two people are the definition of American values.

    1. 3rd bomb
Lol, big business pay little to no taxes
Due to Trump and the Republican led congress passing new tax policies it is us that are paying taxes to give to the Big Corporations and ultra wealthy!
In 2018, Amazon paid $0 in U.S. federal income tax on more than $11 billion in profits before taxes. It also received a $129 million tax rebate from the federal government
Wake up! We are being screwed on behalf of the top 1%,Corporations,Big Banks and Wallstreet.

    1. @Kathy Franklund You do realize Mitch McConnell represents the state of Kentucky, right? Why does everyone think he represents NC?

    2. @Mr. James I am a financial professional. You have most obviously never gained alpha in your life. You write in the manner of an illiterate.

    3. @Stev Rex LOL! I was right! You must be joking, because you are sure cracking me up! I can’t believe this! You’re targeting me because I told you to look over your statistics. Not only this, but you also chose reply WITHOUT STATISTICS! For someone who’s a “professional”, you surely don’t act like one.

Now, I’ll reiterate what I stated earlier. Bring me back some actual statistics to back up your biased claim, and I’ll see whether it checks out. I’ll gladly give you my sources if you give me yours. How’s that sound, Mr. Professional?

    4. @Mdlclass Worker Have you ever lived in (let alone visited) North Carolina? If you haven’t, why make redundant and unproven posts such as this? Do you believe this somehow adds something (positive) to the world? Honestly, it hurts more than it helps to make misleading posts such as yours.

Even if you have lived in North Carolina, I’m pretty sure you know that not everyone there is a racist hick out to get you.

  5. THIS IS A REAL AMERICAN HERE FOLKS PAY ATTENTION!THATS WHAT YOU DO ,THATS HOW YOUR SUPPOSED TO TREAT PEOPLE! LEARN SOME THINGS FROM THIS MAN!!HAS GOT ALL MY RESPECT!

    1. @J Bell YES WE THE PEOPLE BLAME YOUR LEADER, FREAKING FOOL!!!!! YOUR BRAIN IS WAY OVER WASHED!!!!

    2. @William H Ok let me walk you through this one. If Democrats are homosexuals, why would they care about abortion?

  6. WE need more people like this and not jerks buying up all the toilet paper and hand sanitizer then turning around to resell it for a lot more.

    1. Exactly. On good thing about this media. it enables the indirect teaching of some good lessons, like MSNBC, and you reinforcing the good comparative lesson. Go!Go!

    2. That’s free market capitalism baby. It’s what makes America number 1!
Money first, people second. That’s why Bernie was the only shot. Looks like DNC fudged that up too.

    3. @musicwelikemang bernie is really one of the lesser of two evil he and biden are part of the walking dead oh maybe you want to be like china a slave state that are programmed from birth to be passive slaves yea liberals the programmed sheep like china people heading to slaughter give me capitalism or you die lol

    4. @Uncle Ed literally if you need to take a shower or get creative there were times when I was in Latin America and did not have toilet paper and guess what I survived and stayed hygienic. It’s not like utilities like water are going out.

  7. The world always acts like we have some landlord for the planet and we always have to kill ourselves to pay the rent, but we don’t, it’s our game, and it’s our rules, and this game of monopoly should have been restarted years ago!

    1. @L. Yagami you’re right the poor would spend it, some more than others but you might be helping some of those poor to get out of poverty and I’m sure a lot of those poor middle class could find a good use for it, in the end a lot of people would be happy for quite a while.

    2. @bngr bngr Why do you ask, is that a bad thing? Have you ever wilderness camped? It’s wonderful and liberating. You’ll never sleep so well!

    3. @Shaan Minhas Obviously @Tc627 has no clue what he’s talking about, 60T more national debt with two years of hyperinflation (about the time it would take for the dollar to reach 1% or less of its current value) would literally END the US economy. I’m not sure that we are even really prepared to give the $1000/mo that you talk about, but a $2500 one time check to every american adult with income under $50K based on a progressive tax of those who make more than $150K, without necessarily increasing the national debt, *might* act to stave off some of the bankruptcies and job losses for the most critically close to failing, and those that are doing well would really not notice it nearly as much. We could even borrow some of tho I am against that generally, thinking we have been working the debt in the wrong direction for far too long.. It would also likely work to boost consumer confidence, and help, indirectly, small businesses and businesses in general, without necessarily causing hyperinflation. Anyways, just an idea. Peace and best wishes to all in these difficult times.

  8. I love mike. He’s got the right attitude about it all. Yeah the people in power don’t have a clue. Local and state governments are doing much better than the feds.

  9. THANK YOU TO THESE GUYS THAT ARE DOING THE GOOD THING .
LIKE THIS OWNER HE SHOULD GET A MEDAL.
    he’s pretty great.
from Wa. state where we are still in battle.

    1. He deserves a medal far more than that hateful moron Rush Limbaugh who now has lung cancer and used to boast about his nicotene stained fingers and appeared on the cover of cigar afficionado. Why feel sorry for someone who abused drugs and smoked like a chimney and brought the cancer on himself?

    2. I love capitalism, but… haha, this is socialism at its best, just being human and helping. Bad socialism is a government telling you how that should looks like. Worse is bad capitalism, that not even helps its people survive.

  10. It all makes sense, oil down almost 50%, gas prices still the same.
Consumers fkd but corporations are having the best time.

    1. Not California because California is the 5th greatest economy in the WORLD that puts more money into the Federal reserve and has more military bases then any other state to feed and protect those uneducated welfare Red States.Capitalist always take advantage of California

    2. Roger Martin, the supply end of supply and demand for California’s gas prices reflects California’s unique gasoline supply chain because of its unique gasoline formulation requirements. Even a refiner who is not also an oil producer would take a while to switch from, say, Bakken crude to Saudi Arabian crude, provided the latter can even become available to west coast oil terminals. Thus, prices in California don’t change as quickly when external factors change but rapidly when a California refinery goes offline unexpectedly, for example.

  11. If everybody was like this guy things would be fine. Instead we have people fighting over toilet paper.

    1. @J Z , federal reserve is owned and controlled by the same people who control hollywood. federal reserve bosses (chairmen). ill give you examples, before the current fed boss powell, the fed bosses have been janet yellen, bern bernake, allan greenspan. what is the common denominator between these people? lets go to hollywood, disney which owns marvel, abc, espn among other things is under the control of a man named bob iger. ill name another legacy mainstream media company: comcast, which owns xfinity and nbc among other things, is under the control brian l. roberts. all these people i just named have one common denominator. they come from the same tribe of people as bernie sanders, adam schiff, jerrold nadler, william barr, jared kushner. dont be ignorant.

    2. Space Alien The seven members of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. … The Chairman and the Vice Chairman of the Board are named by the President from among the members and are confirmed by the Senate. They serve a term of four years. Maybe you are the ignorant one! Stop with the dumb conspiracies!

    3. @Space Alien not these two of course, I’m talking about the top .1%, politicians including the president

  12. This guy is really smart money isn’t everything if you don’t got a community of people 🙏🏾💯

    1. I already feel like they make some great food. I want to eat there right now! I would if I live there

    2. This is the eventual story, to some point you have to get back to normal because everyone will have a hard time getting reelected if there is a government imposed depression with (30-50%) some temporary/some permanent unemployment over the next year while a vaccine is developed. At some point you have to get all the vulnerable and over 70 people to act responsible (to a large part isolate) and get on with things, and part of that responsible behavior would be no visits to old peoples home for that year. This guy probably wouldn’t understand that being out in the public, especially working at a restaurant, make you a potential spreader even without a fever or cough. One case in a home could kill 20 in a few weeks, I guess the upside is they can be treated in the home and not take hospital beds.

    3. I know we gonna through this your restaurant will rise to be the best in town a great American history

  13. Didn’t expect restaurant owner to be so enlightened. Before hearing him speak, I’d assume he was a Trump supporter.

    1. The world would not be like this if the leaders and corporations were like this man. They are greedy, they only care about profits and their sick agendas.

    2. VOTE Republican 574,000 swine flu deaths worldwide. 78,000 ave yrly of basic flu 12,469 is a low number for a PANDEMIC, I hate that Americans die at all but the numbers speak fr themselves. Let’s compare notes after this passes & not POLITICIZE it til after the election…. I heard someone say that last part SOMEWHERE…🤔

    3. VOTE Republican
First, you’re comparing two different illnesses that attack and spread differently

Second, Trump has done nothing to prevent this. He literally thinks of you as a number and that’s it. There is much blame on Trump for all the American infections and you’re stupid if you think otherwise.

Go read a book you moron

    4. @VOTE Republican “The agency said the first case was reported on April 15, 2009, and the government declared H1N1 a public health emergency on the April 26. The first test to detect the new virus was approved by the FDA two days later. Shipments of the new CDC test began May 1.” Obama responded WAY FASTER than the idiot Trump. Obama did not DENY the swine flu, Obama did not falsely claim it would go away and the testing available far sooner. Oh, and Obama CREATED the pandemic response team that Trump cut in 2018 – sure would have been nice to have actual EXPERTS instead of the FOOLS who turned down the worldwide tests, created their own FAILED test, instituted IDIOTIC rules on testing so nobody was even ABLE to be tested and still do not have enough tests, respirators and isolation beds to cope with the coronavirus spread. Why are Trump supporters so IGNORANT? And why do they keep repeating LIES that have been debunked many times?

    1. That’s not going to happen. They would rather pump 700 billion in QE to the stock market to try to prop it up.

  14. Our government should be helping small businesses and the working class, instead of the huge corporations and 1%.

    1. Italy kept restaurants open & 20 times more people died. I pray you eat in restaurants every day. Anybody with a brain knows all restaurants will close.
