    1. Right… It’s doesn’t matter if the whistleblower was a Lizard person/card carrying kkk member that voted for Hillary… The point is those accusations are proven!

    2. @Spearhand you’re a fool. I hardly get any news from CNN and can appreciate their bias. Republican talking points regarding the whistle blower should really concern anyone that understands the importance they play in keeping governments in check. Ironically enough, Republicans love to have gun rights to stop a tyrannical government whilst full on supporting Trump’s quasi dictatorship.

    3. @Donald Dorsey I’m pretty sure Donny Trump has done that all on his own the only thing he can do on his own. Such s big boyđź‘Ł

    1. @ian collins – it’s not 2 murders that are being equated though, is it?

Even if there was something nefarious that Biden did, Trump did nothing to investigate it when he took office.

He also did nothing to investigate corruption in Ukraine *2 years ago when he authorized military aid.*

He has done nothing to investigate corruption in any of the countries, such as Afghanistan, that receive US aid.

His political appointee Sondland testified that Trump was solely interested in Ukraine’s *announcement of an investigation* into Biden.

All these points indicate *corrupt intent* to seek to use the power of his office to gain a political advantage.

  1. Careful not to click “like” on this one. Go neutral if anything, just like his verbal thoughts…which, by the way, contradict from start to finish

    1. Yeah. At first, I was like “finally, a republican being reasonable”…and then he said he saw nothing that warranted impeachment and that we should focus on more important matters.

    2. celerysoup well yes that’s a fair argument, I used the wrong term though I didn’t misspell it. Fair play

    3. @jerome Chandler Hurd just wants to get away from Trump and still collect his pension and he wants to run for President at some future time, so not ruin his reputation.

  2. Does it surprise anyone all the reps would ignore evidence and just say
“there is no evidence” at this point? They will do anything to stay in
power. They’re not for the people nor for the constitution. In the future if a trumpet ever says a thing about the constitution to any of you again throw it back in their face because it only matters when it benefits their “beliefs”. They really know how to throw the veil over
    susceptible people eyes.

    1. I swore an Oath over 30 years ago to defend that Constitution of the United States that I have been seeing trampled on by Representatives Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi.

I swore that Oath and live by it to this day. And watching this SHAM PROCESS unfold only proves which party stands for the Constitution and which does not.

When the Government comes to take away your rights, I will stand with you to defend you. I will allow you to speak your opinions and beliefs without labeling you or calling your speach “hate speech.” I will defend your rights of Due Process, Quartering soldiers, the Right to Bear Arms, and all the rest. Because you are entitled those rights the same as I am.

But will you stand with me to defend MY rights? Will you allow me to speak my opinions and beliefs without labeling me or my speech? Will you defend my Due Process? Or any other right under the Constitution of the United States of America?

Why haven’t you stood up for President Trump’s rights of Due Process?

If you answered “No” to any of my questions, we know who really stands for the Constitution, don’t we…

    2. @Mike Guderjohn Should probably point out that this is currently just the investigation phase, not the trial and that Mr Trump has been told he’s welcome to take the stand and testify. So far everything is being done according to the rules. The one thing that’s a bit odd is that the hearings are public but that is due to the Republicans asking for them to be that.

    3. @Mike You are lost, I really can’t help you here you have to seek the truth and quit watching fox news in order to see through the fog.

    4. @Mike Guderjohn People keep trying to preach about trump’s due process and failing to see that this was his opportunity to have it. He was invited several times to speak on his own behalf and instead he chose to either opt out completely or created his own press meetings to shout out the same tired childish things that explain absolutely nothing beneficial on his behalf. You can call it a sham process all you want, but the bottom line is that trump did what he has always practiced his entire life and that is not actually help people of need unless they have something to offer him in exchange. He is a cancer to this country that just simply needs to be cut out. Pay closer attention to trump’s actions and open your eyes to the simple fact that trump truly desires to have complete control without ever being questioned on his actions, otherwise known as a dictator. So don’t preach about the constitution because trump could care less about it and would have it completely abolished if it were truly up to him.

  3. I used to like Hurd, but he is following”gop idealogy” about trump and Ukraine. Another “follower” of trump.Sad…

    1. Agreed. I thought he was one of the few remaining Republicans who was still clinging to his values, morals and constitutional oath. He could make one last stand for his party before he retires, argue the facts presented – which did successfully erase any questions regarding ambiguity, and vote yes for impeachment. Very disappointed in him & his decision – though US citizens’ views seem to matter little, if at all, to the former Republican party.

    2. @Amy Elizabeth agreed true statement! I think the GRAND OL PARTY is dead..for real president has set an precedent. I’m starting to think is this the new normal pertaining to behavior, morals and ethics, because this man has shredded the constitution..

    3. trump brought out the truth behind the rep party, they will do anything to stay in power and care not for the constitution or the people in this country. Its time for the rep supporters to wake up and teach them a lesson on how to be what they used to be and stand for. This is not a game reps.

    4. @dan meme this is truly not the Republican party and what they stand for its not first and foremost they are for the constitution and what it says” all of it, not part of it, they stand for the rule of law, this man does not.

    5. I was also wrong about him wait until he finds out that trump knows about the Washington post guy and his daughter has the server in china and turkey has the video on trump, turkey playing trump and Putin. Trump stolen the president!!

  4. “Hint on how he will vote”,…
    – No. Just like the rest of them, ya?
Why did that had to be headlined, when 100% of the GOP is understandably corrupt???

    1. He wants a JOB after Congress…..so he will sing for his supper!! No integrity…..fraud!! Stop putting faith in these people….

    2. He’s not going to put his family in danger for a cause that he alone cannot fix. The game is played differently especially now days. Speaking the truth may bring you threats of harm. Christians are complicit as they hid behind R party. God will be the final judge.

    3. @Kamau Mwaka You do make a good point but there are others who are showing the courage to tell the truth for the sake of the country and this Hurd is apparently not one of them. He knows damned will there is overwhelming evidence of the quid pro quo bribery. He could have made a difference and got the ball rolling but history will have another story to tell of him. God don’t seem to want to get involved.

    4. @Kamau Mwaka I need to add although he said they could speak to the whistle blower in private maybe the whistle blower has a good reason to be afraid of not exposing his/her identity to any of these republicans? Maybe there would be threats of harm like there was already from the president. The whistle blower is not the one under investigation here so I can not defend Hurd’s position for that reason alone.

  5. Oh I was surprised he didn’t say “good copy” again…he need to go to that Jordan speech class

  6. Hurd is still a Republican and even if he’s not running for re-election, he has to deal with his party in the future. Thus he has no backbone

    1. I agree. As we have seen repeatedly with Representatives Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff. They can’t see this whole thing is failing for the Democrats and yet they continue the lies and attacks. November 2020 will be an eye opener, that’s for sure.

  7. Hurd sounded like he had some integrity in the beginning, but in the end he is going to protect his job, money and power and vote with the Republicans not to impeach.
