Remember this illegal quid pro quo involving Sen. Obama’s seat?

In this weekend edition of The Point, Chris Cillizza and CNN Legal Analyst Michael Zeldin talk about President Donald Trump’s new favorite phrase, “quid pro quo,” and what it really means in the context of the Ukraine saga. #CNN #News #QuidProQuo #Ukraine #Trump

    1. @Gypsy a quick US History lesson for you. Republicans were built to destroy the Democrats will for Slavery and now Republicans will have to destroy the Democrats will for Socialism. You’re on the wrong side of history!

    1. @kale n True, even many GOP incumbents are predicting it already to be one. Many are retiring rather than seeking re-election.

    2. @Just Me You retardicans will be squirming when both the senate and house are taken over and your messiah is reduced to nothing but an orange ball on stage.

  1. It’s not the ‘Quid pro quo’ that calls for impeachment, that is abuse of power.
Already with his request for foreign help against an opponent, his unlawful behaviour is impeachable, not to mention the cover up… Trump made the quid pro quo central to the question, as he hoped he could deny it. It is actually secondary this context of asking foreign help, and is proven by corroborated witnesses beyond any reasonable doubt meanwhile.
    Tough luck, lying CraPpresident !

    1. biden wasn’t even the nominee and there was no presidential race going on. biden was not going to be the nominee. trump would want biden to be nominee cause he is full of corruption and gaffes. it was actually the news media and schiff that exposed everything and caused biden to lose support, cause the phone call was released by schiffs whistle blower and media, not trump. How did trump try to effect the biden campaign if it was cnn and schiff that exposed the phone call, which caused everyone to find out what biden and his son was up to, and even biden himself exposed his own corruption with his own quid pro quo. the democrats again are trying to frame trump for something they did themselves, just like the russia collusion hoax.

    2. @Born In Shithole Country if that is so why didnt he look into Biden sooner like in 2017 or 2018? What other forms of corruption is he even investigating other than biden? It would have been legal to do so then with the method he is using. The moment Biden ran for president, it wasnt legal anymore.

    3. Tom Andries In fact, there was no quid pro quo concerning Biden. What is “unlawful behavior” when no laws were broken?

  2. Stop calling it a Quid Pro Quo and call it “Extortion” because that is exactly what Don the Con did.

    1. @Dale Peto Born In Shithole Country is likely a paid liar ( I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt here assuming he must be paid since he makes himself look really stupid )

    2. @Logic B4Religion i’m Ukrainian and know my facts from Ukraine not a fraud such as FNN. it the 1st, Biden is criminal, Orange job is to follow up, proceed as any Gov should do in this situation, investigate, indict and punish the criminal. Any questions? try logic this time not demonrats fecal information

    3. @Born In Shithole Country it doesnt take a rocket surgeon to know holding millions from a desperate war torn country in turn for a political favor is extortion.

Definition of extortion: the practice of obtaining something, especially money, through force or threats.

The fact he wouldn’t even meet with the president of ukraine unless he was down to publicly say he would investigate is pretty hard proof they were extorting him since the money was already approved to be sent anyways. It wouldn’t be a problem if biden wasnt his political opponent but here we are

    4. @Alla Veles What relevance does you being Ukrainian have with U.S law? Right, nothing. There is no evidence of illegal activities by either of the Biden’s.

  3. He said No QUID PRO QUO So now he has got to Go! Can’t believe him No more, He’s out the White House Door ! 🏛🚪

  4. You mean to tell me that after knowing the vote was coming for a week and more than likely sitting around fuming all day Thursday waiting for it that the same old “Witchunt” mess was all that fool could throw out on to Twitter?
Greatest mind greatest words stable genius…. whatever girl 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. I love how this guy went from starring in the Mall Cop movies to being one of the most entertaining and informative people on the CNN.
