Professor fires back at GOP lawmaker: I’m insulted

The ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee, Doug Collins (R-GA), implied the witnesses called for Wednesday's hearing did not have enough time to accurately prepare their testimony. Professor Pamela Karlan had a strong response. #CNN #News

  1. She just let us all know he’s guilty!🤦

    • @SpidersInMyKeyboard
It has already been proven that he did not demand anything and they were already investigating the Bidens and the people they did business with in the Ukraine.

NO ONE HAS PROVIDED ANY FACTUAL EVIDENCE THAT POTUS DEMANDED THE MANUFACTURING OF EVIDENCE.

He doesn’t need to when there is video publicly available of Dip Sh-t Joe admitting he pressured the Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating Hunter else 1 billion in aide would be with held.

Try again with some actual facts and evidence.

    • LOL, she didn’t change anyone’s mind that possesses a brain. She’s a leftist hack, that’s why she was there. To back up what they made up.

    • @Nikki Mendoza
That is a ridiculous assertion and not a single person interviewed for these unconstitutional hearings has any first hand knowledge of anything POTUS did or did not do. ALL HEARSAY.

      Try again.

    • @Kennon Boone
That is not an argument that refutes my factual assertion. Try harder.

  2. How interesting that the Democrats are asking questions of the witnesses in front of them whilst the Republicans are more focussed on making ignorant political speeches at them

    • @De’Narde English Lol, exactly.

    • ehbcd idk if your being serious cause I want to laugh at you lol

@Steve We’re you capable of reading the Constitution and understanding it, these witnesses wouldn’t be necessary. If we learned anything about our population in 2016 , it’s that 48.6 percent are dense as London fog. So you should listen carefully buddy and POSSIBLY learn something. But- probably not.

    • @Barbara Rigell Barbara, Trump already released the transcript before CNN had a chance to spin it. Also, I’ve learned a lot from this network especially the last 2 years of Russion collusion hoax that they were pushing.

      ehbcd
Where’s the evidence dumbass? All four were asked if they had ANY
evidence as to Trumps so-called crimes and all said NO!! NO means NO idiot!!

You know every single student Professor Karlan ever taught had goose pimples watching her steamroll that blowhard Collins … as did any American with the slightest embrace of right and wrong

  4. Karlan: Begins statement.
Collins: Opens google translate in futile attempt to understand how hard he’s getting pwned

What a ‘drop mic’ moment. Wow!

Prof. Karlan, thank you! You made my day.

  6. Doug Collins got his a** handed to him by a real scholar. Collins count your days.

    • I have a rebuttal without insult. She still did not give any proof of wrong doing. Where is the proof?

    • @The Inquisitor Yes, her credentials are impeccable but how about yours? What qualifications do you hold that would put you in a position to even judge hers? I won’t hold my breath, coward!

    • @action figure um, I don’t think you understand how this works. He confessed on tv multiple times and released the transcript of the call. THAT is the proof. She is not a fact witness, she is laying out the reason that this act rises to an impeachable offense.

    • @action figure The burden of proof is not hers. She speaks to the present evidenciary record as given by the previous fact witnesses’ testimonies. She defined an interpretation of high crimes and misdemeanors and it will be the Senate’s duty to digest that and the evidence and come to a conclusion.

    • ZTruth NY that’s the difference between a good lawyer and a shitty lawyer like Collins .. Collins didn’t have a defense for Trump she handed to him with a smile 😊

  7. This was like she dropped the mic from about 40,000 feet right through the stage. Damn.

    Deplorables: “HUH?”

Yeah Collins, your voters are somewhat limited.

  9. I want to hear a smart off the cuff rebuttal to that brilliant speech.

    • None!

    • The president never mentioned intervening in an election. He asked that his counterpart investigate corruption. We have a treaty that requires this. And Joe Biden hardly amounts to a rival to Trump. If Joe Biden extorted Ukraine to fire the prosecutor intending to investigate the company his son “worked” for, she should be much more incensed about that. And by the way, her ire and defensiveness demonstrate a lack of judicial temperament.

    • “If this doesn’t demand impeachment I don’t know what does”! – a UNC Law Professor.
      GOP are 🐖 💩 .

    1. DON’T!
    Yass, loving it & her!!!

  12. DAYAM she went all in🤨… ..I LIKE HER👌🏽….HELL she makes me feel ashamed and I’m not even a REPUBLICAN 🤷🏽‍♂️.

  13. GOP: “They didn’t study enough for this test!”

    Professor: “Hold my beer…”

  14. The professors were brilliant. So nice to hear intelligent and factual American leaders speak. Their only purpose to defend the constitution and uphold the rule of law. True patriots. It gives me hope for America’s future. 🇺🇸

Doug Collins is just a liar and a trump enabler.

  16. In the words of Alisha Keys..”this girl is on 🔥🔥🔥”

  17. Professor Pamela Karlan all but kicked that man in the face. I am in love.

  18. The women who have testified have been awesome.

  19. Why is it that nearly every republican that berates a witness in these hearings sounds either severely undereducated, batshit crazy, or like a hillbilly?

“Sacrifice the national interest to pursue personal interests”

    • She probably meant Biden bragging on camera in front of a panel as to how he threatened to withhold funds from the Ukraine until the investigation into his sons involvement was stopped.

Biden, who was vice president, and is currently campaigning.
