@Jj H Do you even know what the majority is? It’s 50%+1 person. If you want to even claim that she won the majority of even the people she voted, she didn’t. She won 48% of the popular vote. Trump won 46% of the popular vote. This is called a PLURALITY, not a majority.
Besides, the popular vote is a not a voice for the American people, because only about 60% of the voting-eligible population actually votes.

What happens when cities vote to pass bills for the benefit of the people instead of for YOU or the farmers who actually need other sort of legislation? Your voice doesn’t get counted. It’s similar for small states. The issues for small states in rural areas are different than those for large states with primarily urban areas. The rationale in favor of the electoral college helps provide small states with a voice.

@S Tho I know that the electoral college is mainly just for show and that those are chosen to be an elector in the elector college are basically forced to vote according to what the majority of the popular vote in their state chose (with some exceptions such as Nevada).
I also know that a Representative and/or Senator is elected through popular vote, but then is no longer beholden to their constituents once they have gained their seat (though the wise listen to their constituents or they only serve one term).
And yeah, didn’t feel any saltiness or meanness in your question as I don’t know all the details of each and why I was trying to feel out your ideas in the previous replies. Thanks for believing I’m a nice guy as I try to be as much as I can.
