President Donald Trump Wages War On America's Diplomats | Morning Joe | MSNBC

    1. Diplomats are non political, go back to school you moron! They are leaving because of the swamp monster that moved into the white house! It might have been a swamp, now it’s a stagnant, putrid puddle that is imploding.

  1. GEORGE W BUSH started the “loyalty pledge” to attend his campaign rallies, tried to install a personal loyalty oath on Federal personnel while pres.
A lot of what is happening now is because W Bush lowered the bar so much.

    1. @Shaun Carroll PEOPLE WHO JOIN THE MILITARY &/OR WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT TAKE AN OATH TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION — NOT ORDINARY CITIZENS. Only fascist govt’s require a loyalty oath from their citizens. Rom every citizen. The orange Turd-In-Chief DID take a loyalty oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies & he has betrayed that oath REPEATEDLY from Day 1. Chump should be convicted of treason hung.

    1. @Mike Honcho LOL You swallowed that lie. Hook line and sinker. FACT: Peolsi and Schummer offered Trump 25 billion dollars for his Wall and better Border security. ( Drones, more ICE officers, and a Wall) For renewal of DACA and TPP. He and the Republicans turned them down. The Senate and Mitch has over 400 pieces of legislation on the floor but McConnell won’t put them up for a vote. Prescription drugs. SNAP for our vets and farmers. There is no Alt Left. We call ourselves Social Democrats. Social justice, economic equality, ending corporate lobbyism, and equal election reforms. There’s no open border (GOP talking point). Open Borders means free-trade and global economy which helps farmers and our energy sectors. Don’t believe everything you hear. Research other sources. I don’t listen to Fox Entertainment because they’re so bias. They manipulate the facts, add conspiracy theories, then throw in unsubstantiated accusations about Obama, Clinton, and Hillary. At least CNN. ABC. PBS. MSNBC. has counter-rebuttals with real Republicans who served under Bush and Reagan for National Security and the INTEL Community.

    2. John Boddie Fact: The 25 billion didn’t include needed funds for the wall, which is why it was rejected.

Fox? The outlet that called “Russian collusion” a hoax from the onset while you were suckered for TWO ENTIRE years by CNN/MSNBC? 🤣 That’s embarrassing enough, but you’re STILL here with your head in the propaganda trough? Not too bright, huh?

Look for the IG’s report on Monday. You will have to actually do some reading and research if you want to know the truth however. Your propaganda outlets will gaslight you…..but you probably like it.

  2. Steve Bannon gave a speech in early 2017 and stated that the Trump administration’s first priority was to “deconstruct” the government, starting with the State Department. And here we are !
    ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES !

    1. Trump states that ambition in the Zelensky call. He blatantly says that he(don the con) is going to tear the system down. Or words to that effect but clearly he’s threatening the democratic process.

  3. Joe’s comment that Trump says you can keep your job if you tweet something nice about him, sounds just like his thinking of giving military aid to Ukraine if President Zelinkski announces that they were looking into the Bidens and his own countries interference into the 2016 elections.

  4. “why are they like this now” (to paraphrase) … they have always been like this … it just happened that they were like this about something Joe and co supported… they haven’t changed, only the object to which they are sycophantic has changed

    1. @Marc Lloyd what an odd question given my comments.. though the lack of comprehension on your part does rather tells us why you posted your first reply… or that ‘you’ are just a bot… either or makes me disinclined to continue replying to you so do excuse me if I ignore you from this point on

    2. @Anne-Marie d’Vinichi You know why i reply you back in that manner is because i just want to have fun with you i don’t like politics

    3. @Marc Lloyd soo… just trolling and trying to spark a response and some attention…? You need to go get a life .. good luck with that .. later.

    1. @blunt rapture…
It’s a “thing”. And yeah, it bothers me, too. It seems to be very popular among commentators. There are some other “things” that are very much in vogue and that I grumble about:

      1) Guests who begin most of their answers with “So…”

      2) Anchors who run sentences together, especially when reading something. I’ve even seen some who will pause before the last word of a sentence so they can run through to the next sentence without any break or change of inflection. Brian Williams does this all the time.

      3) Commentators who talk way too fast — probably because they think it makes them look more intelligent. They drop syllables, elide their words, insert nonsense syllables just to keep a constant stream of vocalization, and end up making it very difficult for the listener to follow what they’re saying. Hey, I thought the primary purpose here was to _communicate_ !! Rachel Maddow is probably the most intelligent commentator on TV. She doesn’t do that.

Maybe I spend too much time watching news and commentary.

Edit: BTW, Chris Matthews has _all_ of those affectations, probably worse than anyone. Plus, he yells, and he interrupts people as badly as Joe does. Problem is, I like what he says, darn-it, so I keep tuning in to hardball and gleaning what I can from it.

    2. AND THE STUTTERING. The hemming and the hawing and UM, UH, OH, the fact of the matter is AND THE SPLUTTERING and backtracking and backpedalling and walking it back PLUS THE MUTTERING….

    1. LOL that has been done by every politician for the last 40 years. Trump is not the problem but the symptom of the problem. Please tell me if Trump is that bad why did the dems give him everything he wanted. Money for military. Spying powers. Allowed him to cut food stamps. Can’t you see the dems and reps are the same team? Try this one. War with Iran will be the biggest quagmire in American history. 100 times worse than the illegal war in Iraq. Do you know who is going to vote 100% in line with Trump on this war. The dems. No President has lost an election while there is a war. Trump is going to start a war to make all this go away. 10s of thousands young American’s will die this time and the Dems will have signed on with it with no argument or debate. Save this message and get back to me about a month before the 2020 election. You’ll see I’m spot on. Remember this post.

    2. @Lux Chevis i am going out to purchase nances new book. Lets continue reading and educating ourselves. And attempting to recalibrate the narrative cannot be stronger than the rule of law and our constitution. Its constitution that russia hates

  5. The real reason is the White House gets dirt on these people and strong arms them. Like he is not above having people hurt or killed.

  6. Yet a lot of his supporters believed they have a “Perfect President” who makes “Perfect phone call”. “The World Is Laughing At Us, they won’t when I am The President”
    Hahaha.

  7. “We saw what happens to ambassadors who anger the President.”
Marie Yovanovitch didn’t anger Trump. She was recalled _preemptively_ because someone must have told Trump that she’s tough on corruption and would never play along with his extortion of Zelensky. BTW, that shows consciousness of guilt _prior_ to the attempted extortion. I hope they make a major point of that during the Senate trial.
