President Donald Trump Ramps Up Attacks On Whistleblower | The 11th Hour | MSNBC

  1. Dear god America what does it take to get rid of this crook. I see he now has to submit his taxes at last like the 6 presidents did before him. Unbelievable when will this evil man be removed ?

    1. @Pete 913 we disagree…do you admit at minimum theres been a continuous effort to oust impeach or prosecute Trump from day 1? We have Rosenstein attempt to implement the 25th…Obama intelligence officials spying on Trumps campaign ( so called informant but informants start on the inside and reach for authorities not the other way around) We have a special prosecutor appointment that started with Russia but turned into obstruction that ultimately failed..now we have a whistleblower with potential ties to
Obama’s John Brennan, Comey and Joe Biden himself reports say….do the math.🤔 do you see the common denominator? Yeah…Obama administration always seems to have a hand in it.

    2. @Joe There has been an ongoing investigation into possible criminal and possibly treasonous activities committed by a sitting US president that needed to be and should be investigated, regardless of party affiliation, that’s what I know, and Trump’s actions brought this investigation on himself, not the CIA, or Obama, and calling CIA operatives “Obama intelligence officials” smacks of Fox news tripe, to put it politely. The Mueller investigation laying out 10 counts of obstruction for congress to prosecute could hardly be considered a failure, and that ain’t over yet. In case you haven’t noticed, Obama is no longer the president, and when he was, the closest thing to a scandal involving him was the republicans calling for impeachment multiple times with zero credible evidence of wrongdoing, and to this day there is no evidence of anything like that. If there had been, the republican congress would have been conducting hearings exactly like what we are seeing now. OTOH, Trump doesn’t really need whistleblowers to rat him out, he normally does a fine job of it with his own words. This time he won’t escape his words.

    3. @Pete 913 he’s won everytime so far…and you’re right it seems it’s never over. That’s the problem. They will continue to fail against Trump. I know Mueller sealed evidence in order to prosecute and jail Trump after their planned impeachment….and your card seems to get pulled if you interfere. The American people see what’s happening. Powerwolves stalking Trump’s door…seeking no truth..just an attempted cling to power.

    4. matthew9:10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with(( tax collectors and sinners))?”

12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

  2. When everything the whistleblower has said has been corroborated by independent witnesses so i fail to see the point. Except of course it needs no point, they’re just churning the water

    1. IF the whistle blower is exposed, it will put a real damper on any future whistle blowers outing corruption. Trump can’t control the whistle blowers like he can GOP reps in both houses of congress because Trump can’t tweet them up a primary foe.

    2. Trump just want to rally up his base, shift the blame and focus of the Ukraine scandal on the W/blower he is trying every lie he can think of to clear himself .

    3. To be fair, It’s has also been refuted by independent witnesses and the whistleblower testimony (some dude was told about someone else’s recollection) is being held up as more valid than a team of professional transcriptionists.

  3. My first thought is always, “what would they be saying if the other side were doing this?” It’s the best BS meter.

    1. Let’s see when they impeached Clinton half of the Democratic party said investigate. Trump all but two said it’s not legitimate. I don’t care if it republican or Democrat
President should be held to a higher standard of conduct.

  4. Its clearly a desperate attempt to derail the real narrative which is: trump abused the power of the office in a criminal way.

The whistleblower is irrelevant at this point, trump admitted the crime, mulvaney admitted the crime and a parade of patriots gave depositions to congress on trump’s crime. All of this only corroborates what the whistleblower first said.

    1. @Henning van Wershofen But that was not a quid pro quo as the Transcripts and the President of Ukraine attest to. Trump has a right to have the corruption between the Biden’s and Ukraine looked at especially when asked by Ukraine officials to do so. The transcript that Mr. Shift his pant put out there is fake, made up. Yet, Joe Biden is on video admitting to a quid pro quo. What more do you need??

    2. @Bob Ingalls Ha ha – deep state?? Trump and co are the deep state; no-one else. His shadow governance is his deep state. You people are so deluded by all of this conspiracy mularkey. You need to wake up and face the ‘real world’ before you are totally deluded into doing something even more insane that you are already!!

    3. @Henning van Wershofen I don’t need to believe Trump. I heard and saw the transcript and the denial of any quid pro quo from the other guy receiving the call….The Ukraine President. These are FACTS

    4. @Bob Ingalls And all the other people – even those Trump personally chose – who say the opposite under oath obviously don’t matter lol.

Of course Trump says he didn’t do it (and also that he definitely did it).
And I haven’t heard Zelenski deny it, can you give me a link to what you are referring to? Not that it really matters with all those people corroborating the fact that it happened, but I’d still like to see it.

  5. Expose the whistle blower to intimidate those thinking of coming forward not to do so. Sounds like a pretty banana Repulican tactic to me. If you’ve been dreaming of living in a fascist state your dream has come true.

    1. Coming forward? There was nothing to come forward about. There was no crime. The Dems couldn’t get a single Republican to vote their way and even lost two of their own. This whole thing is a sham.

    2. @Walt Schmidt Careful, Walt. I don’t think you’re paying attention or have any idea how politics works. The Dems didn’t lose two of their own on the substance, they voted against the resolution to formalize the impeachment inquiry. There’s a BIG difference there. One voted nay because it was “unnecessary” and apparently didn’t like the process, and the other voted against it because they felt it would further divide the country without bipartisan support. They both stated they would make their judgments based on facts, not partisan lines, yet they are still both victims of politics, as both of them represent districts where Trump won in 2016, so their constituents have an interesting mix of bias. Republicans voted against it because it’s not yet time for them to take a stand based on the substance and risk the support of their constituents, and a vote for the resolution wouldn’t have mattered anyway because the House is Democrat-controlled and they knew the resolution would pass no matter HOW they voted. Why be the first to cross the aisle when it makes absolutely no difference?

    3. @Walt Schmidt The crime was not the quid pro quo; the crime was soliciting dirt on a political opponent from a foreign country. That WAS the crime, whether you like it or not.

  6. The best part is we’ve got first hand witnesses telling us all we need to know without the whistleblower. The administration has admitted it on camera even. No winning but plenty of whining from the man baby president.

  7. This thug needs to be locked away for the rest of his miserable life. He is a dreadful human being and a worse president. He is a danger to humankind

    1. Crystal Giddens cmon lady. Foreign countries literally hire trolls to work spam centers posting positive social media comments for Trump because they know he weakens our country. Your on the wrong side of history.

  8. As of Oct 14 the Washington Post Fact Checker has cataloged 13,435 times Trumpo The Orange Clown has lied to the American people since taking office.

  9. The whistleblower’s complaint has been corroborated multiple times, so unless you have witnesses to say otherwise there is no need to know his identity

    1. Crystal Giddens the troll eventually turns up in the comments on literally every Trump-related video to spout idiotic pro-Trump falsehoods. Yovanovitch didn’t have firsthand knowledge about the quid pro quo because she was forced out BEFORE the July 25 phone call took place. This in no way proves it never happened. The point of her testimony was to show how Trump and Giuliani used a smear campaign to eliminate the legitimate State Dept. official in Ukraine so Rudy and Sondland could set up their shadow operation. The quid pro quo was confirmed under oath by Taylor, Volker, Vindman and Sondland — and of course, in a press conference by Mulvaney.

    2. bubbiesdad, this isn’t a criminal trial, so the 6th Amendment right to confront witnesses doesn’t apply. Moreover, the whistleblower isn’t even a witness, at least not yet. He or she merely reported what the actual witnesses were saying. Those witnesses have now been testifying before Congress. Trump’s lawyers will get to cross-examine them during the Senate trial.

    3. @Andrew Mastin You are totally right. It would have been strange and maybe even suspicious if she had stated that she knew about the bribery. That means that she could forsee the future.
I just discarded her comment as:This makes no sense.

    4. Matthew5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

      Proverbs 25:21 if your enemy is hungry, give him bread((food)) to eat;
      And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
22 For so you will heap coals of fire on his head,
And the Lord will reward you.

  10. I just posted this elsewhere, so forgive the repeat:

Trump relentlessly continuing to demand the whistleblower’s identity is basically the same as ordering a hit, should his name ever be revealed.

    1. @Len Ovo 4 very credible witnesses, including a guy who had bought his appointment from Trump for a million, have testified to the mob boss committing an impeachable felony.

    2. @Michael Brown the strongest witness that the Democrats have said that he did not talk directly with the president, that he “presumed” there was a quid pro quo. So keep up the optimism, it will only be that much more soul crushing when he is exhonerated AGAIN, then goes on to be reelected. The Democrats are so drunk on Trump derangement syndrome that they don’t even realize how badly they are setting up their cult followers for embarrassing disappointment. Keep watching CNN, the corrupt Cult News Network !!

    3. @Michael Brown …you obviously hate OUR President Trump. I do feel sorry for you because it is going to cause emotional pain when you first hear about his second exhonneration and, of course, his re-election. I understand how difficult that is, went through it will Bill Clinton. Don’t worry though, it gets easier over time….you will probably start ignoring politics for a while, and just like losing a family pet, you will soon grow indifferent to the soul crushing pain it caused you when it first happened. Be well.

    4. @Len Ovo Trump could be compared to a huge cancerous wart that would have metastasized all over those insecure senate republicans and right wing fascist groups. His calling for a civil war, were he to have to answer for his crimes is rather worrisome.

    5. @Len Ovo Today, Friday, we will have first hand witnesses, Marie Yavanovitch and purple heart Vindman corroborating the same crime. We could also have Giuliani, Mulvaney and Barr as witnesses but the mob boss won’t let them testify and perjure themselves.

    1. @comanchio1976 It is, the context will matter when their vote failed. He may be involved in crimes against the country. He may have aided corruption in Ukraine. He was an advisor to Biden when biden and others were milking Ukraine aid back to their private accounts.

    2. He’s a deep state operative working for the demonrats.
He has an opinion about the presidents foreign policy…. THAT’S IT !!!
This is an attempt to continue the underhanded dealings of the criminal Clinton, Osama, Biden and three letter agencies racketeering operation !!!.

    1. @Da bear Smiggins they are focusing on the policy Moscow mitch is blocking all bills that are coming up for a vote 300 + bill presented only 10 went to the floor for a vote

  11. The whistleblowers accusations have been cooberated by testimony of those on the actual call and a part of the situation!!!!!
trump and his cult followers just want to use the whistleblower to set up a conspiracy.
trump threatening a citizen is very unsettling.

    1. @Cerebrophage The CIA are a bunch traitors. They are aiding in the takeover of this country. What the heck is the CIA thinking by listening on the President’s phone calls to other heads of state?

    2. @Bob Ingalls They were probably thinking that they should do their job… Regardless of what they did – the truth is out. Now, Trump is the traitor. Prove me wrong.

    3. @Cerebrophage that makes no sense what you just said. In a word, nonsense. Prove that wrong. This a Russian Collusion 2.0

    4. @Bob Ingalls Lol. Okay, buddy. Simple: The investigation on Mueller’s end did conclude, yes. Just because Mueller is done, does not mean Congress is done. They never said they were. As a matter of fact, after the Mueller hearing, they said they were going to hold more witness testimony. Which, they did. Then Trump bombed himself. Congress never said they were done – that’s just the message Trump wanted you to hear so he could try to claim victimhood. Show me where it says that Congress was absolutely done with its investigations to Trump. Oh, what’s that? You can’t find any? That’s because it never ended.

Glad we cleared that up 🙂

      Next.

    5. Cerebrophage He probably did not write them…his lawyers are his FIXERS. Was he under Oath? At least, if he was under oath when he is lying, MAYBE we could have Some Justice.

  12. Whistle blowers are protected by federal law. Typical Republican mantra, laws only apply when they feel like it.

    1. There is no longer ANY shame in the so-called party of Law and Order. They have descended to the lowest of the low level of hypocrisy and self excusal.

    2. Amy Ahlquist B.S. Republican’s almost never resign even hen they have been indicted Rep. Collins, Rep. Hunter just to name a couple of them. These men were reelected in their districts after being indicted.

    3. nope u are wrong .Their idenditu is not always to be protected bc what happens if a whistle blower makes a false accusation about you ???? stupid

  13. Funny how, according to Trump, every time something about Trump comes up, everyone else lies EXCEPT for him… And it’s also funny how Republicans seem to have no problem with that…

    And when I say funny… I mean sad…

    1. @Melvin Cohen so by that rational if a black person moves into a white neighborhood it’s perfectly acceptable to make up charges and send him packing, because the “whole neighborhood” agrees right?

    2. @no name 99% probity it’s not made up and the chargers against Trump are not made up. Except in Trump and his followers mind.

    1. Still, he must be protected. The point of attacking the whistleblower is to scare others who might want to present the facts detrimental to this administration.

  14. “Written answers not acceptable”

Is that why you failed to answer at least thirty of your written questions from Mueller?

    1. @U.S.S. Scambalam don’t pay no attention to the potato drinker…he still on but..but Hillary…I mean his name is walt Schmidt 😂😂😂😂

    2. That “failure” is relevant.
Trump refused to personally answer questions,he chose to answer by written answers.
NOW he says written answers are not acceptable?
He’s a hypocrite, and so is anyone still supportive of trump.
His crimes are proven and many and we’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.

    3. You: “Is that why you failed to answer at least 30 of your written questions from Mueller?”
      Trump: “I do not recall.”

      😉🤭
