Poll leaves CNN’s John King speechless

CNN political analysts were at a loss for words while discussing a poll conducted by the Economist/YouGov that found 53% of Republicans said that Donald Trump was a better president than Abraham Lincoln.

    1. @Stephen Robinson …..you know, as an unbiased person, I try my best to give things the benefit of the doubt; however, it seems to be the case that even without the media’s persuasion and intent, there are more than enough cases of individuals who are not affiliated with the media that “HATE Trump” and the consistency of this makes a very strong premise to nullify coincidence. If I see something that quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, and there are others who are unaffiliated and observe the same occasion…..well that makes a very strong case that we are seeing a duck and lowers the chance of it not being a duck.

    2. Its amazing just how much some American believe CNN and the bullshit Media.
Even when the facts prove Obama’s administrations, FBI, CIA, DOJ = Hitlers SS Squads

  1. It says everything about almost half of the USA population 😭 how is it possible that a country could move so far that so many people think that Trump are better than one of greatest humans to have ever lived! 😮 It is blowing your mind.

    1. fam4 DKCZ On the expansion of slavery:

      Lincoln said:

There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people to the idea of indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races … A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation, but as an immediate separation is impossible, the next best thing is to keep them apart where they are not already together. If white and black people never get together in Kansas, they will never mix blood in Kansas …

      2. On shipping blacks back to Africa:

      Lincoln said:

In the language of Mr. Jefferson, uttered many years ago, “It is still in our power to direct the process of emancipation, and deportation, peaceably, and in such slow degrees, as that the evil will wear off insensibly; and in their places be, pari passu [on an equal basis], filled up by free white laborers.”

      3. On outlawing slavery in the south (before the rebellion).

      Lincoln said:

I have no purpose directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.

      4. On equality:

      Lincoln said:

I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races. There is physical difference between the two which, in my judgment, will probably forever forbid their living together upon the footing of perfect equality, and inasmuch as it becomes a necessity that there must be a difference, I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong having the superior position.

      5. On inter-racial marriage:

      Lincoln said:

Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man.

      Enjoy

    2. @B 81 You’re too stupid to know that you’ve been conned by a NY democrat masquerading as a conservative, and your calling your detractors knuckleheads? Ohhh boy!

    3. @Captain Deplorable my understanding of Lincoln’s decisions regarding slavery were mainly a matter of political prudence and expedience. I haven’t read much on the matter, though.

    1. @Javier Gonzalez They’ve been brainwashed by the MAGA pipe dream…obsessing over a past vision of an isolationist, homogenously white republic, where all goods and services, are made, sold, and distributed within our borders.

    2. @Captain Deplorable I’m sure all the history-aware and critically minded trump supporters read your copied and pasted post or read Eric Foner before taking the poll. By the way, put some context in your comments if you are going to quote. Enjoy.

    3. I strongly believe that ALL Dems sniff lots of glue, each and every day of their lives. How else can you explain thier bizarre behavior? Trump 2020🇺🇸

    1. Trump will someday have a statue in the Grifters Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. To visit the Grifters Hall of Fame you go down a long hallway in one of the sleazier casinos and at the end a man in a sharkskin suit takes $50 from you, opens a door, you step through and find yourself in a filthy alley. The door shuts and locks behind you. A sign on the opposite wall reads “Thank you for visiting the Grifters Hall of Fame, sucker.”

    1. “This youtube video will make you pee in your pants: Ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page EXPOSED by Trump now playing victim”

  2. This shows how successful the Republicans have been when they conspired to “dumb down America” beginning in the late 70’s.

    1. @Pasing Gas I can’t name a single news outlet in the US that actually practices journalism. That’s why Putin’s personal propaganda outlet, (RT News), can routinely practice better journalism, (facts, and accuracy), than CNN. You know you are a pathetic propaganda outlet when you make an actual state-owned propaganda outlet’s journalism shine……pathetic, but true.

    2. Ya because the liberalism rampant in schools, Hollywood and the mainstream media has NOTHING TO DO with dumbing people down.

    1. JThein1989 YES ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸TRUMP 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️

    1. Bryan Springborn….well, considering that most democrats believe that Lincoln was a democrat- the education system has failed. Considering that democrats think that democrats fought to end slavery- the system has obviously failed. Considering that democrats think the republicans were against the emancipation proclamation- the system failed. Considering that democrats obviously don’t know the history of the democratic party- the education system again, FAILED.

    2. @deplorable libertarian who do you think really won it? I’m pretty sure the federal government we have today comes from the confederacy. But I suppose what you learned in school must be the real truth.

    1. sixstringman The president can’t be charged with a crime under justice department policy, which is the only reason trump has not been indicted. Hillary is not president. As such she can be prosecuted. If there was anything there, Barr would throw the book at her. Facts.

  3. Well, they both freed slaves… which makes them both the best 🙂 #walkaway from those enslaving your mind

  4. At a certain point one has to laugh or die crying.
When did the GOP become the party of dumbshits…
