  1. There does not have to be live explosives or even contain explosives, just the potential threat is enough to cause panic, especially in a very busy area.

One thing to keep in mind is the potential of more false threats, used to gauge response times and public reactions to other ‘devices’ that could hide a potential real threat.

    1. NEWS ALERT AOC called it in, she just told CNN news that she thought the rice cooker was a bomb because she has never seen one before

    2. John C: Of course not, but since nothing happened in this case let’s have a little levity to ease our fears.

    3. @Clinton Pough Just don’t go shooting up the place. We don’t need any more of you Aryan bred domestic terrorists. Thanks.

  2. For those of you who are belittling the fact that they are playing it safe and making sure people are safe, I was at the Boston Marathon during the bombing where pressure cookers were used. I would much rather have the police and bomb squad play it safe and people report things like this then turn a blind eye and have something happen to innocent people who were just going about their normal lives.

    1. @A Team The fact that you have to lash out at someone and try to make yourself feel superior does not help show your IQ level at all. Anything can be used to store a bomb and there was nothing wrong about reporting a suspicious package or device. You have a wonderful day.

  3. I respect journalists like Polo so much. You couldn’t pay me enough to go to the site of a potential bomb just to tell a story ๐Ÿ˜’

    1. *Soon, Trump’s permanent address in NYC will be “Trump Tower, 725 Barack H. Obama Avenue.”* Cool, huh..?

  4. Three rice cookers walk into a bar and the bartender says?

” No service cause y’all look bombed already! “
