@Terry Fulds You think the liberals want to help the sick and poor but it’s only at election time. They aren’t doing a good job in major cities that are run by liberals like LA, Seattle, San Francisco etc. Pandering and identity politics… To be honest most people want to help the sick and poor just disagree on how to do it. To over simplify it, I’d say conservatives take the teach a man to fish… approach where liberals take the here’s a handout. Which is just a very small part of the answer. Also breeds the victim mentality. This is a complex issue with no simple solution but just because someone disagrees with you on the solutions doesn’t make them evil. There’s corruption on both sides, but ask yourself why do they hate Trump so much? And how are all these career politicians making millions? BTW I wasn’t a fan of Trump at first

Jay Sekulow, DJT’s lawyer has been caught in his own “questionable” activities. Sekulow’s nonprofit raises tens of millions of dollars a year, much of it in small amounts from Christians who receive direct appeals for money over the telephone or in the mail. But, fundraisers were instructed by Sekulow to deliver bleak warnings about topics including abortion, Sharia law and Barack Obama.
A 2013 script warned listeners that Obama’s signature healthcare law, the Affordable Care Act, promised to give Planned Parenthood federal funding to open abortion referral clinics “in your child’s or grandchild’s middle school or high school.”
The priority was, unsurprisingly, he is DJT’s lawyer, to push poor and jobless people to donate money to his Christian nonprofit, which since 2000 has steered more than $60m to Sekulow, himself, his wife, his sons, his brother, his sister-in-law, his niece and nephew, and their businesses. Telemarketers for the nonprofit, Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism (Case), were instructed in contracts signed by Sekulow to urge people who pleaded poverty or said they were out of work to dig deep for a “sacrificial gift”. Suggesting they understood how donating would make it difficult for them to “share a gift like that right now,” they would try to manipulate retirees who said they were on a fixed income and had “no extra money,” before asking if they could spare “even $20 within the next three weeks.” Surprise, surprise, surprise, these are the same tactics salespeople would use selling Trump University. Clearly, Birds of a feather, grift together.
