  1. Perhaps the most telling GOP performance at the hearing was their designated lawyer who frittered away nearly 45 minutes asking inane questions in the vain hope that viewers would wander away and not come back.

    1. @Mat Jasniewski What did I miss? Speaking of legal experts, IG report out in a few days – 900 pages long – ohhhhhh boooooye

  2. Notice how Quasimodo aka Giuliani has been quiet lately? That’s when we all know schitz is hitting the fan! 🙂

    1. @santolify Been wondering exactly the same thing. He’s usually everywhere, loudly screaming nonsense– now… silence. Must be hiding somewhere, hoping people forget about him. If he has any idea of the writing on the wall, he’d throw Bone Spurs under the bus before BS can do it to him. That goes for all involved.

  3. “I’m calling from Kiev.”
The President of the United States of America: “So are you in Ukraine?”
    “Yes, I’m in Ukraine…”

It’s a screwball comedy. It would be funny if it weren’t real. Greetings from Germany, stay safe. I’m still afraid he picks up a book at some point and finds out what we were up to on D-Day… 😉 And there’s no Trump property over here!

Fun Fact: Trump Projects in Berlin, Frankfurt and Stuttgart were disapproved, mostly because of contract issues with his partners or the financial backup was deemed too sketchy by authorities and any real involvement of Mr. Trump couldn’t be confirmed. He basically just lent his name to some really sketchy financing. There were lawsuits against and by his partners and against local government and he lost all of them, i am aware of and never appeared.

    1. I was going to make a joke about there also being a Kiev in New Jersey, but it turns out there is no Kiev anywhere in the U.S.

  4. I love how virtually everyone introduces Sondland not as the ambassador, but first as a Trump donor who BECAME and ambassador. Nice backhand.

    1. @Dominus Vobiscum Let me guess, you’re not a rocket scientist, right? President GrabEmByThePussy and his criminal cohorts needed her out of the way in order to carry out their dirty deeds.

    2. Glen Hill Sondland was a donor of trumps campaign for a cool 1 million. No foreign ambassador experience. Sounds like Hunter Biden?

  5. Trump: “Adam Shifty Schiff won’t let us testify or won’t let us have witnesses!”

Peter Welch: “We’d love to have the guy that started it all – the President is welcome to have a seat right here in front of us.”

    1. @Dominus Vobiscum All I want to hear is “Does the defendant have anything to say before sentence is committed?” and that will be whilethe springtime blossoms appear and this orange twitterbitch goes to a nice New York State prison. No pardons and #Cmerebitch

    2. @Dominus Vobiscum I agree with you. It would be devastating for Trump, Giuliani and Pompeo to let themselves be interviewed under oath. That’s the huge flaw with both criminal proceedings and impeachment hearings — they are extremely biased against criminals. For example, Trump has only two options if interviewed: commit perjury or admit to all the crimes of which he is accused.

This impeachment inquiry is pivotal for the future of the USA. If it succeeds, it will deal a devastating blow to the people who want to move the country towards autocracy. Since we still have a democracy in the USA, you who clearly dislikes democracy may express your opinion.

    3. @Annie At the same time, Trump somehow has it in his head that the Presidency is a dictatorship and not a democracy.

  6. Sondland In the small hours must wake up kicking himself that the million dollars he donated to Trump was the worst investment he ever made.

    1. @Polly Bradley Good luck with that. I already contacted my reps/both houses. In response, I was told to educate myself, because I clearly did not understand the issues. How’s THAT for getting zonked by your elected official? Believe me, I will get out and work against that person for his next campaign. And I live in the south…

    2. @donofon101 I respectfully submit that the Greeks would not have had anything remotely approaching Trump in mind when they coined the term hubris. Sending kids to military school was saved for those youthful ancient Greeks with genuine civic spirit. Any child with even a fraction of Trump’s innate “issues” was lucky make it past infancy. I believe the enlightened approach was to expose them overnight on a high hill in winter, and let the Gods and the wolves fight it out.

  7. So – just so that we’re all on the same page…

This is the president – tweeting witness intimidation –

    Which IS an impeachable offense

    *During his own impeachment inquiry*

Oh to read a history book 100 years from now.

    1. @Stefano Patton Respectfully, no, sir. I obviously was not clear. In a court of Law the burden is not absolute certainty, which is desirable, but is it true beyond a Reasonable doubt, in Civil law it is held to what was most likely. I hope that clarifies better. Apologies for being too vague. I re-read what I wrote and saw it wasn’t clear. Thank you for letting me know. Cheers!

    2. John Wilkes I LITERALLY just went through Trumps twitter feed and there is ZERO mention of him saying if Yovanovitch planned to look into her children’s eyes tonight or threatening her. Maybe try looking at the FACTS coming from the source instead of being brainwashed by second and third hand communist propaganda, bro 👍🏻

    3. Julie Utley you’re actually WRONG. That is FALSE. trump NEVER tweeted that Yovanovitch would “go through some things”. Go through his twitter feed. The only thing he tweeted was that she was bad at her job. 🤦🏻‍♀️ look at the source before relying on 3rd and 4th hand accounts

    4. Hillbilly Heart commenting publicly on someone giving evidence about you on a public platform to millions wouldn’t have got back to her? Schiff is to blame? Clearly ‘working in law enforcement’ doesn’t make you an expert in constitutional law. His tweet is deemed as trying to influence a witness which is illegal normally FYI. Saying she was going to go through some things was the threat. Either you are blinkered by your politics or just a bit simple.

  8. You gotta love when the criminals are so stupid they owned themselves. Clearly, Sondland’s lack of diplomatic experience is actually a boon in this case. If he wasn’t so inept we wouldn’t have known about this phone call.

    1. I wonder how much training she had prior to receiving ambassador status vs. Sondland probably having none. sheesh

  9. “Everywhere she went turned bad?”

Mr President, my dear sweet little boy, let us chat about the candidates you endorsed, your real estate properties, Trump tower and your casino, shall we?

    1. I hope he gets impeached, thrown out of office and then the lawsuits start rolling in. I want to see him join his friends in the big house. lol

    1. @Dominus Vobiscum Her testimony helps set the timeline, and shows the unusual activity that was going on behind the scenes. Not every testimony has to show criminal activity. Its not hard to understand.

    2. @Dominus Vobiscum Why did Trump feel the need to defame her on Twitter if she couldn’t deliver any damaging info on him?

    1. Imagine if Trump relayed his nuclear launch codes like he did this call to Sondland… that’s accident just waiting to happen.

  10. The scary thing is this: if Obstruction ever run it’s full course, no one will ever know. It’s very clear that Republicans don’t care.

    1. @CaliforniaNrwYork CaliforniaNewYork shame on you for getting fooled for 2 years, and now being fooled by this…

  11. “Everywhere she went turned bad” These places were bad when she got there genius thats why she was sent there in the first place. Oh you have freedom of speech? Let someone try to threaten the president on Twitter and lets see how far freedom of speech goes

    1. You have to remember, trump has the mentality of an adolescent. A dumb one, who is a bully and didn’t get hugged enough by his parents. He never developed mentally past the age of 14. That’s why Pelosi had to explain ‘exculpatory’ to him.

    2. It’s interesting how he touts free speech but he doesn’t like the Ambassador’s free speech, or Adam Schiff’s free speech.

    3. @DvDO7 Except when he says true things about himself.
Then it’s not free speech, it’s locker room talk.

    4. @dee MAVERICK I used three different emails and created three different nomme de plumes. I guess the best minds of the nra were threatened by my simple logic and withering sarcasm. When I reminded them that 1/3 of USA gun deaths were self inflicted, and when would I read about one or two of these “best minds of the institution” whined to the twitter police how threatening this Canadian is and poof #1. The next two were primarily to poof one of them but they caught on to me with my trademark Hudson Bay blanket coat soon after mr neonazi got his oughts for his vile comments towards my Canuckism.

  12. Smearing Yovanovitch, after removing her, when all he had to do, was just remove her, without the smearing. Trump is a coward, bully, and a criminal, and after all this, he should definitely be removed.

    1. REP. CHRIS STEWART: Do you have any information regarding any criminal activity that the President of the United States has been involved with at all?
      YOVANOVITCH: No.

    2. Dominus Vobiscum she isn’t a co-conspirator or an investigative officer? She was unfairly dismissed and intimidated to allow for the quid pro quo. The one he admitted, that his staff admitted too. But then threatening women doesn’t bother you lot at all. She said she was scared, a woman who braved Somalia and Mogadishu. I don’t care what your politics are, it shouldn’t blinker your morality.

  13. ” Tampering is when shifty Schiff doesn’t let us have witnesses”, says the man who has stopped witnesses going to hearing to give evidence… Trump is phyco

    1. So according to Trump, not allowing witnesses to testify is interference? Great, he just confirmed he is guilty of interference by not allowing his officials to testify.

    2. @CellGames2006 I cannot understand how a person or administration can be investigated and they can block supeona (sp?). I thought the US was crazy, but our Trudeau did the same thing recently. Politics is lame. They want Trump out, they should make it mandatory running for any office requires you to turn over your tax forms. I can imagine what goodies they will find there….if they ever get to see them.

    3. He released the phone transcript! That’s exculpatory. It’s not Trump’s requirement to prove his innocence, that belongs to the accusers. The end.
