  1. There was Sikh in Ontario who turban cause his death,so sometimes it does matter. Plus at my work place I can’t wear jewelry, but some religions get a pass on that. So the rules on the job should come first not religious beliefs.

    1. @PuthSardaraDha the turban can be a safety hazard, but religious beliefs come first and this is wrong. Practice your religion at home and in your place of worship not at work

    2. @PuthSardaraDha geez, i dont know, maybe it got caught in a machine and pulled him in? Maybe it caught fire? There are alot of things that could happen. If a rule is in place for the safety of the employees, just abide to your safety rules or get a different job. BIG PERIOD…..

  2. Progressive are crying now. Wait till after the election.
Nenshi is sad because he knows that his time is coming to an end. As progressivism is being rejected globally.

    1. That’s because the progressives won their battles a decade ago…then they went too far, and became the new oppressors.

  3. A washed up mayor that nobody likes anymore says crazy things in an effort to stay relevant.
Stay tuned, more at 11: 00

  4. If the party leaders can’t stand up against this then they ALL lose the moral right to ever speak about racism.
Clearly Quebec votes are more important than Human rights.

    1. Have you read bill c21?
Probably not. I think you are spewing slurs about quebec whilst being ignorant to the content of the bill.

  5. Neshi is a crook. Calgary voted him out, but magically there weren’t enough ballots and not everyone got to vote. The guy is a POS and Calgary are sick to death of this liar and thief.

  6. provincial rights. That’s the beauty of having multiple provinces. They have differing laws and values. Lots to choose from. Some guy in Calgary has no right to interfere and try to repeal a law that was granted royal assent and has popular support within Quebec. And if BC wants to impose a carbon tax or ban straws, I may not like it but I don’t live there and they have every right to do that.

  7. Nenshitty is a crybaby who throws a tantrum and holds his breath if he doesn’t get his way. Last week he threw out a councilor because the guy said ” don’t be so bitchy”
The whole city council wants him to resign.

  8. Please work for generating jobs in Calgary
Naheed nenshi you are not bothering about predicament of unemployment in the city
Don’t try to astray from the main issues.

  9. queerbec loves corruption, sexism, racism, human exploitation. it’s in their culture. the west needs to cut bait & run asap.

  10. This guy is loser, he somehow got himself elected and how that happen in a city like Calgary is beyond me . He useless and done nothing for the public

  11. Bill 21 is a direct reflection of the supremacy that Quebec assumes and has exhibited since Canada became a nation. They did not sign the constitution until 1984.

  12. This is the trouble non Canadians making decisions in our government . We have something called
Freedom of speech here and just because you don’t like
What someone says doesn’t mean you can arrest them . If you don’t like the laws here as a foreigner I suggest you leave
