    1. Back when rich people paid more taxes they were still rich. I’m talking about the Rockefellars or the DuPonts.

  1. Most of these billionaires corporations do not really pay any taxes, the money goes in their pockets.
The 1 % wealthiest Americans do not have enough votes to over ride the population

    1. @bingbonga binga Congress at that time considered gun ownership so obvious a right they didn’t feel the need to clarify it much

    1. tfcooks : He would be a good running mate for Warren, Sanders, or Biden? It would shut down the Propaganda of the Alt-Wrong?

    1. Samantha Lord Democrats getting hit from all sides. Clinton Foundation whistleblowers coming forward. AG has option to keep thier names secret as always.

  2. What worries me about Bloomberg is that despite what working people say, they have a tendency to wealth worship and believe wealthy people are somehow superior at everything, not just making money. The last thing this country needs is another billionaire businessman.

    1. I don’t think Trump is actually a billionaire which is part of why he may be hiding his tax returns. He lies so much so he’s probably lying about that.

  3. The hyper wealthy are straight up parasites, whose wealth come from other people’s work. The democrats don’t need this business creep any more than the republicans needed Trump. Now they are stuck with him.
You do not need another wealthy pig president that thinks there is something wrong with anyone who doesn’t have a lot of money. You have had enough wealthy thieves and protectors of the very wealthy.

    1. You sound bitter and immature. Bloomberg’s stellar achievement is nothing to be sneezed at. He started a company that sold terminals used by Wall Street and became wealthy. He created a lot of jobs that people are willing to work for. He understands how the world works better than most people. So, calling him a parasite/thief is down right ridiculous.

  4. Good, this proves that these “Democratic” billionaires are scared of the progressive movement. Bernie 2020!

    1. They’re scared of all of the Dems(except Biden) running including Pete. Pete is a moderate but he has youth on his side.
Bloomberg is 77. Pete will likely outlive Biden, Bernie, Warren … by years and years.

    2. @kay armstrong Most of the country’s population now lives is urban areas. They tend to be more liberal even in the south. So what does “main stream” mean?

    1. Yeah, you ignore that all of the democrats calling out “rich” people have become millionaires all by sitting in congress for decades….like Bernie,Pelosi. Schumer,Waters.. How do they become millionaires while making congress salary?Don’t dare ask that do you

    1. @Timothy McGuire 😂😂 you know that Bernie didn’t lobby or benefit from his own policies. Trump was born with money,Bernie wasn’t! Bloomberg literally brought his 3rd term in new york and have money floating in politics everyday. You can’t call one Policy Bernie made money off…go???
He wrote a book with his hands and made millions okay??? Walmart owners and family isnt getting their hand dirty in all their stores. They just throw money around!!! . Your playing yourself period!

  5. I love watching millionaires throwing away money. Unfortunately, he’ll still have millions after doing so.

  6. “The public doesn’t want to tax the wealthy”
Hey Bloomberg, here’s something the public does want 🖕🖕🖕
