  1. How interesting Mate seems to understand the science and understands that the country want legal weed but he can’t understand anything else.

    1. Maybe you have let the mainstream media skew your view about him and maybe other things as well. I’m not attacking you bro, just saying that the media skews everything to what they want you to believe.

    1. DJM-anon
You call anything you don’t like or makes you look bad a “conspiracy theory.” Just like you call anyone you disagree with “racist”/ “sexist” etc. Or in this case, you’ve chosen to go with “antisemitic attack phrase” 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️FOH!
You’re really not fooling anyone at this point.

    2. Ed S She could do with being introduced to some of that high quality THC she’s so frightened of. But she’s the 1 in 100 sort to fooking freak out, & go paranoid instead of relax.

    1. same, never cared for it, just makes me sleepy, but it’s a huge drain on resources to continue the marijuana prohibition. legalize it tax it and look forward to the new stoner Marlboro Man … Maybe Tommy Chong can fill the role.

  2. Keeping a “drug” illegal that has NEVER caused ONE death and is actually beneficial in many things, but keeping alcohol legal, is mind boggling.
EDIT: for the comments. I am not saying alcohol should be illegal. That is not my point. My point is how devastating alcoholism can be, yet it is legal and a natural plant that can do so much good for certain illnesses is illegal.

    1. Try living next doior to someone smoking the super concentrated “skunk weed”, it gets old quickly. Marijuana in edible or pill form should be legalized, smoking it should not unless you live far away from others. When we were in Vancouver and they legalized marijuana, you couldn’t eat or breathe without feeling nauseous it was overbearing. Regular marijuana doesn’t have the nasty smell skunk weed has, so I would not object to having it legalized for medical purposes also.

    2. @General Sanders A coroner’s investigation into the death of a Louisiana woman found she died from a THC overdose in what appears to be the first recorded death from marijuana use in the United States. #okboomer lol..okok… so mAyBe one death..now we can ALL point and laff

    3. Its actually quite nice..to here from a Republican, on an issue..and NOT croon on about trump..lol.. #VoteBlue :p

    1. @Roger Bowen Nope this is a common misconception. The issue is the THC is locked inside the plant so you can’t eat the plant without processing it first. As long as you break down the cell walls some you can access it. Edibles actually result in getting more THC in your system albeit more slowly.

    2. @Ariemius ya gotta be careful with edibles though. it’s easy to get sick from overdoing it. i speak from experience. those pot brownies just tasted so good, though, couldn’t stop!!

    1. Private prison should be shut down. No regulations. No guidelines. Very unsafe and does not meet to basic human standard of rights. It’s horrible.

    2. kalbs89 Trump has HALF the deportation rate of Obama. HALF. Trump is instead filling private prisons with immigrant men, women & children. When they can’t fill the prisons with drug offenders, they just find another group to persecute,… like the immigrants.

*Obama* never built the *FEMA Death Camps* they apocalyptically feared,
But *Trump* sure did, as his idiot cultists mocking *Lady Liberty* cheered.

*Country over Party. Country over Cult.*
🇺🇸 *NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW* 🗽

  3. Overheard in a smoky GOP back room, “We are looking like idiots on this impeachment thing. What can we do to ingratiate ourselves with the masses? I know, we can support marijuana reform even though we have been the instigators of criminalizing it for decades.”

    1. Hunter funneled 140 million for burisma. Its ok though hes a Democrat. They just indicted the v owner of burisma but now he’s missing. Daddy biden prob took advice from Hillary anways enjoy 4 more years of trump

    2. Feel the same, every now and again he proved to actually be better than a lot of other far right congressmen on issues like this one, and he doesn’t think global warming is fake and is willing to support major changes to reduce carbon, but i dont agree with him on the best way to do that. His perpetual association of white nationalist (he invited a holocaust denier to the state of the union) is reprehensible though

    1. @Dennis Manson From my personal experience people who use pot generally do engage in other drugs like drinking or vaping, or have at least tried it before.

A lot of people I know in NY and the southern half of Texas smoke pot very heavily and eventually used stuff like acid or doing beer bongs and lean.

Any drug is a gateway drug really as any person who uses any drug increases their likelihood of using other drugs. Someone who never uses drugs obviously won’t be at any risk whatsoever as opposed to someone who does use and that’s coming from a pothead. I don’t get why that’s so hard for people to accept.

    2. @Chris L That is totally not how any of this works.

People who use drugs do so because, sadly, they are either pressured into it, or are predisposed to risky behavior. If it isn’t marijuana, they will drink alcohol, or use any multitude of available drugs.

Lastly, our population is constantly dosed with opiates, which are extremely addictive, so saying that weed will somehow lead them to hard drugs, when we straight up medicate people with opiates, is not a good argument.

    3. i was a heroin addict for 8 years and the first “drug” i tried was marijuana, don’t simplify the issue when you know nothing about drugs use.

    1. He’s most likely getting paid for this by lobbyists. Go with the liberals who have been advocating for this for years… the country is ready for the change now, Gaetz is just trying to get in ahead of the rush… he’s being paid and looked at polls and that’s one of the MAIN reasons why he’s pushing this line. Even John Boehner has invested. They just follow MONEY not morals or values.
Great if it happens, but don’t be fooled by his motivations and don’t vote for him over anyone viable.

    2. @Jewels Star I just said I agree with him I didn’t say I believe his motives. Only time republicans care about something is if they can make some money off it or can gain something he trying to get the budda smokers vote for 2020😏

    3. B WanE well said I agree with you totally I can’t stand this guy he’s up to no good and about his face Karma he’s got good teeth a decent nose good hair good bone structure in the face he is a good eyes Addison and eyebrows but yet he gives me the creeps like he’s not good-looking it at all, what’s with that , vote Blue vote Bernie Bernie :-)😝😝😝😍😜😳😳😳😳

    4. @B WanE Yeh but there’s the rub… he’s going to publicise this and get some badly needed votes for his ROTTEN self. Make sure everyone knows he’s full of it.

    1. True. The difference being you don’t have to consort with criminals who have the gateways and means to harder drugs.

    2. They did try stopping alchohol with prohibition and that backfired. Cigarettes aren’t banned but they can’t be advertised. It’s more like how twitter shadow bans people without outright fully banning them.

    3. They should ban those things! Smokers and drinkers are a big reason why health care costs are going up so much. Health insurance premiums go way up for everyone because of these low life’s bad habits and addictions!

    1. Only boomers like you wouldn’t realize that saying “ok boomer” has been dead for like a year at this point

  4. “Keeping a “drug” illegal that has NEVER caused ONE death and is actually beneficial in many things, but keeping alcohol legal, is mind boggling.”- Tina Alicia

    1. MJ has caused deaths from people high on MJ which was the cause of their auto accidents! And, just wait till you get some bad MJ spiked with weed killer or bug spray! It’ll ruin your lungs for the rest of your lives…if you manage to survive till then!
