    1. @Kelsie William I hear ya ….. unfortunately, America has been hijacked by psychopaths long before Trump came along …. America cannot save the Bahamas ……unlikely that America saves itself.

    2. @DOUGLAS HOTCHKISS yikes ….don’t involve me in your bromance . . . . Why don’t you and d.t. work things out elsewhere?

    1. @Leonel Ventura too bad more of these people didnt die. Now we ha e to share our resources. The should be killed off and rebuilt without them

    2. Thanks@Leonel Ventura.😊 Sure but You sound like a Lost Boy ie Why talk with the rabble when youve got all the answers? Only to gloat somehow seems to mock you?😁

  1. I went to Bahamas at summer and now I saw this… It’s heartbreaking It was a beautiful place and the government won’t do shi*. Disappointed

    1. @davids11131113 If you were not so ignorant you would be aware the Bahamas became independent over 40 years ago. Despite this the British Royal Navy vessel that patrols the Caribbean every hurricane season arrived Monday. An expert British team of engineers and hurricane recovery is repairing delivering aid and surveying where help is most needed. The Navy ship carries a Helicopter and huge amounts of amphibious landing craft. They are specialised to repair airports communications roads. The British government has sent in experts to assess aid requirements. The British taxpayers are on no level required to help. We however would crucify our government if they didn’t assist. Because these are human beings that need everyone to help .https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/news-and-latest-activity/news/2019/september/05/190905-mounts-bay-delivers-aid

    2. @Tessmage Tessera…It appears that the idea of helping the Bahamian people, of showing human compassion and voicing hopes the people there will get the help they need soon has triggered every despicable example of humanity, every brainless Trump supporter to open their mouths and spew hate and ignorance. This just reinforces my commitment to do everything in my power to ensure Trump loses in 2020. The comments on this report from Bahama, by these childish cold hearted people, wishing even more suffering on the victims of this disaster….is nothing short of sickening.

  2. All those people in Florida who cleared out all their stores in preparation for the storm that never hit Florida. They should donate all of their supplies 50 miles east to the Bahamas. “Attention, everybody bring your unused emergency supplies to the port and we will boat it to the Bahamas.”

    1. The entire country is in the line of a potential hurricane. So we have no place to go but to build back and hope this never happens again

    2. @Gray Nevertheless, I hope that other choices will become possible.
Houses that are even more resistant to these storms and what is very important is building flood defenses such as in the Netherlands .

    3. @M. R. Molenaar Elzinga I agree but I don’t think anything could withstand a category 5 hurricane with 185 wind speed that stayed in one place for 2 days.

  3. Im disgusted by government entities that show lack of regard for their citizens……Priority #1 – Citizens wellfare……🕉

  4. While your rebuilding, round up the criminals and drop them off in the ocean. Don’t do like the mayor of new Orleans after Katrina.
