    1. @DAVE ADAM the same Wall that crumbled Sask’s economy with a deficit in the billions like his buddy Jim Prentice? You’re being sarcastic right? I don’t get why Wexiteers turn to traditional Cons for leadership. They are the ones responsible for your troubles more than anyone else. Why not Wild Rose or some other sovereign AB party.

  1. You hear the latest from the Bloc Quebecois about pipelines? Now there’s nothing but total stupidity coming out of Quebec. Time to leave!!! Wexit!

    1. Actually we have a very young well educated population in our province! “The two dumbest” ?? Actually Alberta is just ONE province! Question your education??

  2. I despise Turdeau and I stand with Albertans…….I think Conservatives could win with the right leader and one who is a true conservative

    1. @Ryan MacFarlane I agree with your assessment of the Cons & Libs being degrees of the same garbage. I would say that it extends to the provincial Conservative Party too. Remember that Harper & the Reform Party started in AB and then infiltrated the federal Conservatives. Most of Canadians do support progressive left values. The only reason the Libs or Cons have the support they do is because of the First Past the Post electoral system. The public votes more based on who they do not want vs who they want to represent them.

I would disagree with you that Wexit is the least likely to occur. It is a very difficult process and I don’t think you have the support you all believe you do. Plus, I bet the AB Cons with Kenney will play along they support Wexit but they will slowly turn the conversation around when the fires start to simmer down. You are having this conversation which is great but you are the only Wexiteer I have read thus far that is pointing out the Cons are the virtually one and the same to the Libs. We all would have more success trying to get electoral reform in place. The right voice would be more undiluted in the House and in public discourse. True libertarian, fiscal conservative values could be presented and actually might get some center left voters to take a second look. I am a progressive left voter and I found myself very curious after hearing Bernier speak. I was impressed. I do have some libertarian leanings.

    2. I did say true/real Conservatives……….and that was the reason I didn’t vote conservative……and even if hell froze over I would never vote for the radical left liberals.

    3. He’s right Tories can’t win; leader doesnt matter too much. Tories can only win if the NDP rise just high enough in Ontario and Quebec to split the Lib vote. This election shows that too since Scheer got more votes than Trudeau but Libs got way more seats.

    1. Quebec will only leave if equalization is amended. And Quebec effectively has a veto on that. They will never leave

    1. Your pension plan would go broke very quickly. Most educated workers come from other provinces and they will leave to go back home to their own country (Canada). Immigrants would rather not move to such a racist fiasco, and/or sinking ship. Then you’re left with poor whites… and oil barons.

    2. In reality the only other way I see this working is Alberta as it’s own nation needs the ports so they need to extend themselfs all the way to thunder bay to get access to world ports but the border would be like Swiss cheese.

    3. Yep if you leave . And I hope they give you nothing, You can not use the Circadian dollar. Which means you ll have to make your own currency everything

    4. @mr blob Obviously never been to Alberta. It’s the youngest and one of the most educated provinces in Canada. Plus the kids score in top 3 for math and reading.

  3. Like Justin said as he is giving our money away to American charities, “Lets do this” I from B.C. but bor in Alberta am behind you guys all the way. 60 years of Ottawa favoring Quebec at our expense. If Alberta goes and proves it possible, the others will follow. There is at least 5 Budgets that can finance the move from equalization payments to GST, literally billions that can improve the lives of western Canada. Supporting Quebec and Ottawa only means supporting American oil and gas, lets see if Bombardier can support Quebec…

    1. Bombardier there’s another joke. How much money has the Federal government given these clowns so that they can line their pockets and run this company into the ground?

    2. @Jon Candy What a ridiculous statement,” oil and gas is being used less and less every day” there is no alternative in the works to eliminate diesel and gas engines but lets stop producing oil. I filled my car up with Daisies this morning before I drove to work.

    3. @Jon Candy I was hoping to hear from a electric car owner. What kind of emissians does the power plant produce? it’s either a coal fired plant or a nuclear plant so it’s one or the other. Do you realize that most of the components in your car are made from an oil derivative product? If we all drove electric cars how much extra electricity would it take to charge them? We don’t have electric transport trucks yet and most electric cars only go a short distance before needing charged, so there is really no alternative yet.

  4. I’m from Ontario north of Toronto where common sense prevails and the colour blue prevails. You have my full support.

    1. From Ontario as well but I think your wrong asf. There’s something called a negotiation and a SOLUTION. You can’t just leave Canada because your mad

    2. Lucas Bowman Because they’re smart and they actually know that they will be getting money to help him get ahead to help them get more money into their pockets to feed their families and to be able to have a Canadian dream what I can’t understand is why low income areas and lower income families are voting for idiots like the liberals who don’t care about them and the NDP’s were just smoking up and that are liberals 2,0 now that I cannot understand

    1. So you want to leave all the rights you hav fought for. New government nothing would be signed with this government. No treaty rights nothing..

    1. So your saying this is alberta taking a page from quebec? brilliant move. heap further distaste for your province on and be know as the loudest minority in canada.

    2. @KAT Erwhall ??? What are you saying? Address my claim…. Has the threat of separation hurt or helped Quebec?

    3. I have yet to meet anyone at meetings looking at core issues who is interested in using WEXIT as a “lever” within Canada. They see no future there. It isn’t a “threat.” It’s a decision.

    4. @msk msk in the past it has hurt it. they received very negative labels for it. this election we got to see past separatism, on to racism and now a willingness to join the country again. I get they want there “culture” but outside of french…what is it? most quebecers actually have strong morals and ethics and believe in the science. it’s just a shame trudeau’s specter looms over the province.

  5. “landlocked” or annexed, either or is better than the deal you have with your “family”. run! go! prosper! now!
