  1. Man this is bothering me more than I thought. I can’t stop thinking about his loved ones. 💔😭 My sympathy to Kobe Bryant’s family and the families of the other who also died in the crash. May they find peace and comfort in the days ahead. 🙏🏽

    1. So Leonaza 7…… you’ve wished evil things upon President Trump and his family I’ve seen your posts over and over here on CNN. Why are you triggered when they come back to haunt you on this thread? You vile democrats can dish it out but you can’t take it right?

  2. I was saddened today when I heard that Kobe Bryant died. Nine people tragically died in a helicopter crash here in California. My condolences to his fans, friends and family. He was a five time NBA Champion and two time NBA MVP Champion. He was with the Laker’s dynasty from 2000 to 2010. Seven times the Lakers went to the finals and won five of those. Three times he won it with Shaq. People considered Kobe the successor to Michael Jordan in those years. Kobe did commercials for Nike, Games and Coke. He was on multiple NBA game covers. Kobe did charity work and loved working with children. RIP.

    1. @Legend Bartlett No that’s life. A tragedy is when a society systematically makes young black kids that aren’t rich get shot and imprisoned on a regular basis for next to nothing and sometimes nothing, that’s a tragedy. Real news is tragedy. This is voyeurism.

    2. @Matt Gaetz congressman until people like you are Six Feet Under, America’s got a lot of work to do to be great! Troll

  3. Shooting a paper ball yelling “KOBE” is never going to be the same again. We love you Kobe and Gigi. #GOATS

    1. Mac Pereda Im From The Jordan era but my brother who is 2O years you get than me said the same thing today. We used to say Jordan and stick our tongues out in the 90s. RIP KOBe

  4. The saddest part is that it’s obvious that he was molding his daughter around the game as well. He would take her to more WNBA games than nba. He was doing what a good father does. He was being a family man…. so sad.

    1. They deleted my FIRST TOP comment so I’m reposting :

It would’ve been better if it had been Obama on that helicopter.

  5. Its so strange. I don’t know him at all. And yet I genuinely feel like I lost someone. Kobe is a rare person. They don’t make many like him. The world is less without him

    1. Same Im not a fan of basketball but I knew who Kobe was and as soon as I saw the news I was about to cry including because his daughter died too🥺😔😭

    2. Mimi_ Gemi I’m sad af atm. He inspired so many. So much injustice in this world, why do so many good people have to suffer and meet their ends like this…

  6. THOUGHTS & PRAYERS TO KOBE BRYANT & HIS DAUGHTER GIANNA & THEIR FAMILY & THE OTHER PEOPLE & FAMILIES WHO HAVE TO ENDURE THIS LOSS IN THEIR LIFE, IN JESUS CHRIST NAME WHO IS A GOD WHO COMFORTS US IN TIMES OF HARDSHIP & PAIN, AMEN & AMEN!!🙏🙏🙏✊😎

  7. It goes to show, it can happen to anyone. You never know so live like it might be your last day. Sympathies to the families on this sad day.

    1. @Jordan kors I believe what they meant is that death can creep upon you at any time, regardless of the method.

  8. ”I’ll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it’s sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot”- Kobe Byant

    1. I didn’t know that Kobe’s Bryant daughter also passed away and that he opened up a training center for females.

  9. And he was going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Well he will still be inducted, but it will surely be the saddest induction in history. Rest in peace Kobe, Gigi, and to the others who lost their lives. ❤

    1. He was a Bad Father for taking GIGI in that Helicopter andTBH it’s his Fault she’s dead. He lived 41yrs so he doesn’t count. She didn’t have a chance to do nothing 13 is toooooooooo young.

    2. Shawn Kemp wtf are you dumb… he is a “bad father” for giving his daughter purpose for her life and helping her achieve goals… no bet you would just have your kid sit on a couch and be covered in bubble wraps

    3. @Shawn Kemp You know how rare it is for helicopters to crash? Would you be a bad father for taking your daughter in a car? Because that is probably more dangerous.

    4. @Shawn Kemp how is he a bad dad though? It was a freak accident. He did everything he could to set her up for a happy and successful future

  10. There were nine people that passed away, including a coach, his wife and daughter, the pilot, and three others, including Kobe and his daughter. Such a tragedy.

    1. @Maldives Baby no she was his oldest. He lost his twins at the same time I lost mines which was in 2005, then she came next God bless Vanessa and his other kids

    1. His wife and his other daughters will need all the care and support their loved ones can offer, for a long long time. Prayers for them!

    2. Not just for Kobe and his daughter.. for all the people who were in that chopper with Kobe and his daughter too..

  11. I couldn’t even begin to imagine being in a helicopter with my daughter and not being able to do anything about it the fear they both must have felt

    1. She went home in the comforting arms of her beloved father ….prayers to his family and friends….so very tragic

  12. One of the saddest parts is one of Kobes daughter teammates was in that helicopter and their parents and that little girl had a sister so that little girl is all alone we should all keep everyone affected in our prayers😪

  13. Im sure he wouldnt want his death to seem more “important” than his daughters. They are both tragedies, but a 13 yr old dying, who didnt get the chance to live…is the saddest for me.
