Fading away are the Unionized blue collar Industrial and factory jobs that were full time , with benefits , and with job security . Uber Drivers can work 12 hours with 6 hour breaks so 18 hours per day if they want. Amazon pays extremely well and offers full time employment besides the seasonal workers they pickup during Christmas. Walmart has one of the fastest paths to 100k per year job out there if you can do basic math and show up on time everyday. 90% of their employees are full time over 38 hours per week have benefits and their starting pay is $12 per hour in lowest pay scale areas.
