  1. Mika and Joe – I suspect that there is more background to this than can be released at present. Both of them seem to be reasonable, balanced, and well liked politicians. Over the years, when ever I have seen this before, there is always something not yet known that helps to explain it. I think it simply is too soon for us to really know the reasoning behind JK’s decision.

  2. Clearly explaining what is wrong with the American political system. Money should have nothing to do with the results, in fact it is the reason for all the trouble we have to deal with. It managed to put an orange puppet in the WH, so there’s that.

    1. On right the Senate sorry….regardless do you think they centrists are going to throw out the ultimatum to tank is campaign like they are trying in congress?

    2. @Mad Hatman The DSCC is in the same business as the DCCC, electing and re-electing Democrats. Kennedy won’t get any special treatment because “progressives” have paranoid fantasies.

    3. @Ken Shaw is it paranoia? if the centrist congressmen actually release memos to vendors saying if you side with democrats who primary sitting democrats we will blacklist you. This only happened after the justice democrats and other groups started primaries against Crowley and his ilk….before that they didn’t seem to have an issue with it. We will see if they treat a centrist democrat the same when he primaries a Liberal….I would be surprised if they do. My guess is not one word will be said against him.

    4. @Mad Hatman The DCCC actually said that they won’t do business with any company that supports any primary challenger to any sitting Democrat. It doesn’t exclude any Democratic House member from that. So if some moderate tries to primary Jan Schakowsky anyone who contracts with that challenger won’t get DCCC business.

BTW because this has become incredibly ridiculous, Joe Crowley is a liberal. You can go through his positions and not find a single one objectionable to any actual liberal. This myth that he was some sort of right winger is revolting and insulting.

The paranoia from the so called progressives that every one is out to get them is ridiculous and unbecoming of leftists.

    1. @Beachdudeca Does that mean you want Warren to step down with Biden and Bernie? No necessarily objecting, just asking.

    2. @Beachdudeca You still did not answer my question. The US presidency is the most aging job on the planet. Would you have an upper age for US president? If so, what?
BTW, why did you single out Dems? Are you after Reps, Sens, or all lawmakers?

But Joe Kennedy is already in Congress. And this isn’t the right time and Markey is one of the good ones. I like Joe Kennedy but this is strange.

  3. Yea the party needs more guidance. They all are just doing for themselves. Why worry about running for senate then presidency. When this world is over in 2020 if trump is still there.

It’s no trump or nothing PEOPLE

  4. Democracy, is a battle of ideas, may the best ideas win. We shouldn’t be questioning it, we should be applauding it.

  5. A Kennedy likely has at least one more home in another state he could establish residency in. If he’s SO ambitious and service-oriented, he should go run for Senate in a purple state.

  6. Of course they want to get out Progressive Senator Ed Markey.. But why not take Liz Warren’s seat!!?? This is not going to end well..

  7. Seriously?? Markey is freaking 74 and He had a great Senate run so why can’t we the people get fresh, young and new blood?? What’s wrong with that? Now with that said, I don’t know Kennedys ideas or anything so I’m not saying yes GO KENNEDY but, I’m just asking the question is all, why is it bad?

  8. I wish you were still talking about Beto, but he deliberately burned all his bridges in Texas when he came out against guns that way. But I also wish Kennedy would wait for the Senate or go for governor.

  9. This WGU (Western Governors Uni) advertisement is rather ironic. It uses a portion of the song “The Times They are a-Changin”. That portion is part of the first verse. That verse is taken by the ad as a call to the viewer to undertake self-improvement. This snippet utterly misses the point and spirit of the song. The other four verses are vehemently subversive of pretty much every social structure and are a call to the listener to take heed that all of those social structures are being overturned.

  10. Joe is beady face. It doesn’t match his teenage hair. MIka redefines lap cat. I like the guests on this show, but the hosts are a weird kind of Adams family couple.
