@HighStreet Killers Ah, you think this is a trial. Well, lying or ignorant Republicans have been very persistent in giving the public that very false impression. You are one of the many they counted on to believe that nonsense.
This is in the investigation phase. NO ONE except those directly involved in the investigation has any right to be in the room or have any knowledge of what is going on until the investigation is completed. It’s just like the Mueller investigation, only in Congress. It’s secret. It SHOULD be. All of the information gathered here will be submitted to the House in a report, and then the debate on impeachment will begin.
As for people violating the security of these depositions, yes, they should be arrested and locked up for security violation, disruption of a Congressional proceeding, or whatever. I’m not sure exactly what the charge is, but it would be whatever they arrest people for when they disrupt a Congressional hearing. Ten days ago Gaetz crashed and had to be removed from a closed hearing of a committee he’s not a member of. It’s time for him to be censured and removed from office.

@HighStreet Killers What are you talking about? This isn’t the trial. They are investigating/gathering information that will be sent forward to the actual “trial” which will be held in the Senate. Did you really think this was the trial itself?
Trust me, once it gets to the Senate you are going to hear a lot of republican leaders doing everything they can to prevent testimony from getting released to the public. The same ones that are currently convincing you that the opposite should take place. And I suspect that you will either be agreeing that it shouldn’t be released or you will be sitting in the corner with your fingers in your ears… denying all of the facts and parroting whatever FOX tells you.
