    1. To be fair, the East does have more seats than the west, and central canada. So it’s fair right, minority, Canada’s older generation was just too stubborn.

    2. @starmanstriker The USA is successful due to the electoral college system Canada needs electoral reform Liberals hold power through the immigrants they import and they are trampling Canadian rights The older generation left you a prosperous , peaceful and safe country which you are now about to lose Liberals constantly scheme to retain power no matter the cost

    1. Because they want Canadians to pay for it. They want Canadians to pay for everything but they want all the power to say and do what ever they want where it is lawful or not. If they want all the power, give it to them and cut them off from their allowance and let them figure it out. Can’t have it both ways.

    1. Richard G he’s basically a dictator at this point, it amazes me nobody has gone for an assassination attempt they would be held as a Canadian hero from behind bars for years to come.

    1. Trudeau is from Quebec and whenever he speak about Canada he says: Quebec and Canada. He is not working for Canada.

    2. @Pierrette Latreille His riding is in Multicultural MTL but doesn’t live in it nor vacation in Quebec, he is just pandering to his riding when he say Quebec on MSM.

P.S Québec didn’t vote for Trudeau, it’s Multicultural Montreal who are over represented in election same for Toronto and Vancouver …

  1. Trudeau a worldwide joke. Nobody listens to this clown. He’ll try to buy his way out of another self created mess.

    1. @starmanstriker Our current Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Administration must give first to our needy Canadians specially to our Canadian military veterans who are in dire—need of all kinds of assistance and the other nations, countries and states of the world can wait later!!!

    2. Well, all kingpin True-dope has to do is to sell his medical weed lower $ then all weed heads would get him to majority again.

  2. When he cancels Teck, there will be separation vote early summer. Then Ont can see the results of voting Lib.

    1. I say separate from Manitoba west. Most of BC by land and resources is conservative also. Vancouver can choose to stay if they want. Each riding in the West should get to hear the proposal and vote to separate if they want. Who wants to be left behind in Trudeau’s disaster can vote to stay. Fair I think.

    2. The Constitution Act 1867 gives justin full legal right to stop various exports from crossing provincial boundaries. West has no choice but to leave eha is presently known as ‘canada’.

      Export from provinces of resources

      (2) In each province, the legislature may make laws in relation to the export from the province to another part of Canada of the primary production from non-renewable natural resources and forestry resources in the province and the production from facilities in the province for the generation of electrical energy, but such laws may not authorize or provide for discrimination in prices or in supplies exported to another part of Canada.

      Marginal note:Authority of Parliament

      (3) Nothing in subsection (2) derogates from the authority of Parliament to enact laws in relation to the matters referred to in that subsection and, where such a law of Parliament and a law of a province conflict, the law of Parliament prevails to the extent of the conflict.

    3. Fluffy Muffin Thank you for making the case that AB should just vote and get out now, I only hope SK and MB go with them. As you probably sit there sipping your Starbucks just take this with you “New Canada” with a 1000 year’s of oil reserves will be able to buy the rest of Canada back in about 10 years!

  3. How can Pam in one breath say that Alberta is one of the worst offenders on indigenous, and in the next say that Alberta has the highest GDP – when it is the Fort McKay First Nation which, according to the last census, has the highest median income – not only in Alberta, but in Canada? Furthermore, it is another indigenous group in Alberta that is ready to take the federal government to court if Teck is rejected. Several more have already begun legal action against the Liberals on Bill C‐48. This panel asks why the Buffalo Declaration is being brought up now … Gee, do you think the looming rejection of Teck and a supposed ʹaid packageʹ has anything to do with it? These ⅰⅾⅰοts are an obvious and big part of the reason why Albertans feel the way they do.

    1. It did not get rejected but TECK RESOURCES PULLED THEIR APPLICATION, because they new they were going to get rejected by the FEDs and Quebec. The Problem now is Justin Trudumb will hide behind saying we were never going to reject it, they cancelled because TECK knew their carbon amount was going to be higher than they said it would so they pulled out. HE IS WEAK AND SPINELESS

  4. The Liberals are trying to kill the resource based economy of the west. Why the big mystery as to the problem of the west?

    1. When the western provinces were divided up in 1905 into smaller provinces, their resources and land was kept under the glitches of ON and QC, unlike all other provinces which had 100% control of their own resources. The west has been screwed over by the east and Eng ever since long before 1867.

    2. Section 92A oc the CONstitution Act 1867 gives justin the full right to stop oil and gas from going across provincial boundaries. West has to leave righ tnow….

  5. So why is the idea of an independent Alberta so offensive but an independent Quebec is conceived of as part of Canadian confederation?

    1. Because Alberta is one of the main contributors to the east with equalization payments. If Alberta leaves then the east is fucked

    2. Because Quebec and Ontario would lose their biggest rental income in Canada. The west is just a paycheque to the east, if it is not then stop the equalization payments.

    3. Also Quebec doesn’t contribute to Canada so when they “threaten” to separate they still want to be part of Canada

    4. justin can do a lot of damage to Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. its time to leave right now!

  6. Trudeau literally just cares about his political ratings.
He has and will create soo many problems, that once conservatives come in… hopefully they can fix them.

  7. We need a leader who govern the country, not a clown who loves costumes and ridicules Canada in the international

    1. Yes leader like the great Brian Bologna (Maloney).
20 years later all Canadians are living in prosperity.
      Even the Liberals loves it.
Thank you Brian, Canadians loves huge BOLOGNA.

  8. Maritimes Liberals cannot understand Western disenfranchisement? Collectively, the maritimes provinces have 32 seats compared to Alberta’s 28 seats in Parliament despite having HALF the population. Combined, Alberta and British Columbia have a greater population than Quebec but they only have 64 seats compared to Quebec’s 75. The majority of wealth in Canada has been produced in British Columbia and Alberta yet it has been taken from the West to be spent by the government to buy votes in the East and in the Maritimes.

    1. If only more western Canadians were told the true facts such as this then maybe they would wake up and see how the west would be better off without Ontario east. Western Canada has water, energy, forestry, mining, agriculture, farming, tourism, fisheries, etc. The west does not need nor can afford the east anymore the way Canada is run currently. Change is needed or separation. Status quo unacceptable.

    2. Hi I like your name, but better to stand up for who you really are unless of course you are a liberal cabinet member, Trudeau won’t like you telling the truth of how power is not allocated fairly by seat populations in Canada…

  9. Oh, so it is irresponsible for western MPs to talk about “independence” but when the Québec MP s do it in official opposition, you are so silent that we can here the crickets.

  10. Alberta is not allowed to talk about separation, but Quebec is allowed. What a bunch of hypocrites. Goes to show Alberta is not welcomed in Confederation.

  11. Nick Nanos gets it. Everyone else is delusional. Alberta could join the USA and be better off in every way. Central Canadian journalists are just completely out of touch.
