    1. @Rocarlos Davis like Donnie 5 time draft dodger?
A lot of us have served and are against this person in the white house.
If you had served, you would know the oath you swore was to uphold the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
In Nazi Germany they swore an oath to Adolf Hitler.
      There you go

    2. I’ve been saying “Impeach & Prosecute” from the first day SpankyPant’s tRump took office. What took the rest of you’s that long to come to that conclusion?

    3. With all these obstructions and refusal to cooperate with subpoenas by the President’s “crew” I urge the Congress to make some arrests before Nov. 2020. Unfortunately, impeachment is a long drawn out process that Trump would take to the Supreme Court anyway. Let’s just VOTE out Trump and arrest him as a private citizen.

  1. Trump is in breach of the law and of the status/integrity of the office. Trump needs to be held accountable.

More whistleblower will come forward and more. It is inevitable.

    1. I think we will indeed see more people coming forward.
I look forward to seeing how Republicans try to separate themselves from Trump as things collapse. They are so up his a$$, and on record, it’s going to be fun.
Could be the GOP get whitewashed in 2020.

  2. Sondland is just another Trump “insider man” who paid to get a position where he would do Trump’s bidding. The reason Trump has not made appointments to so many official posts in the diplomatic corps is that he fears any kind of oversight that would report on his corruption. Congress is a coequal branch with direct oversight of the executive, a situation which is intolerable to the Orange Clown.

    1. So technically if I offered tRump $1,000,000.00 cashola in a sm. suitcase then I could be appointed Chief Deputy Dog! Better yet Ambassador to Canada or Australia. Mmmm but then Senator PJ has a nice ring around it.

    1. @Kip McEwen : What a load of crap. Everything you’re writing is false. Did you get that out of Trump’s soiled depends ? First, no full vote is needed for an impeachment investigation. To pass articles of impeachment maybe but not to investigate. The majority party can begin an investigation on their own if they agree. Second, the minority doesn’t get full subpoena power. Under house rules, all subpoenas brought by the minority must be agreed to by both the chairman and the minority chair. If they don’t agree, the minority chair can bring his request to the full committee for a vote. It’s designed to prevent the minority side from turning hearings into a clown show in order to obstruct and derail an inquiry. Third, who cares if Republicans want to call it a kangaroo court. A bunch of kangaroos would have more credibility than Republicans anyway.

    2. @Kip McEwen

    3. @Kip McEwen A formal vote on inquiry is NOT required by law, tRump refusing to turn over documents and blocking witnesses IS breaking the law and eventually he’ll pay for it. We got his tax returns yesterday in New York and that’s a big step to uncovering his crimes so that Americans, even you, will be able to see how foul this man is.
Just admit it Kip, tRump doesn’t want all this to come to light because he’s guilty of all the things he’s being accused of. How dense do you have to be when you can’t admit what you saw with your own two eyes. I KNOW you saw tRump ask Russia for Hillary’s e-mails, you saw him ask China do dig up dirt on a political rival, you saw him admit he pressured Ukraine to do the same. You’re living with your eyes closed, could it be that you are too uninformed to understand the gravity of those actions?

    1. The definition of narcissism and gaslightjng. “What phone call? There is no phone call. The phone call doesn’t exist. You’re crazy.”

    2. @Eddie Gooden — What I’M not happy to say, is that Russia has been brilliant in their attempts to infiltrate our country (without firing a single shot) , and WE have been extraordinarily lazy and stupid for allowing them to do it. God only knows what is waiting, ahead, for us.

    3. @Alan G. WE haven’t been lazy or stupid – we’ve been suffering under the lawless reign of the very man who allowed the Russians to do that, who is only sitting in the White House because of the Russians’ help. The last thing Trump ever wants is for that to come out, and his own complicity in it, and he and his cronies like McConnell have been doing everything possible to prevent that from happening, since even before the election in 2016. It was McConnell who blocked Obama from releasing the already gathered investigation into Russian interference, the same McConnell who managed to get sanctions lifted against the same Russian oligarch who rewarded with him with a new aluminium plant in his home state. Trump is a petty conman compared to Moscow Mitch…..

    4. @Richard Barber — Thank you for a thoughtful and well-written reply. What was it that Woody Allen said (and I’m paraphrasing) in, “Annie Hall”?

“I’m a political bigot, but for the Left, fortunately.

I can’t stand Mitch McConnell. First of all, while most people think that he looks like a turtle (and I admit, he does), I always think that he looks like a Great White Shark, or, perhaps, a Goblin Shark.

And secondly, I hate him for all of the other reasons. And there are plenty of them out there.

    5. @Alan G. Well, from the day Obama was elected he made it his entire mission to block anything that the Democrats could do, right up to absolutely stealing a Supreme Court seat in 2016. But as soon as Trump was elected, he used his Senate Majority Leader position to ramrod through judgeships and confirmations that he absolutely blocked as long as a Democrat was making the nomination. All the while acting as ‘sanctimonious’ as possible, to strut for his base. If there was even a poster child for blatant party hypocrisy and putting party before country, it’s Moscow Mitch McConnell. And for his service, his wife was given the position of Secretary of Transportation, something she had zero qualification for, and which she has abused for her own family since the day her husband rammed through her confirmation.

The bald-faced corruption was so bad, and so public, that the Dems took back the House largely in response, and with the possible end of their reign in terror in hopefully coming next year, I only look for the corruption and money grabbing to get worse with each month, as the GOP finally has to face the electoral music. The damage the GOP has done to this point will take a decade at least to reverse.

    1. Then why aren’t obama, hiLIARy, lynch, holder, mccabe, brennan, clapper, comey and the rest in prison?

    1. @Jim Bendtsen don’t you mean destruction of this democracy. With Trump you’ll get that. Enjoy your freedoms now. SMDH.

    2. @Jim Battersbee you’re kind of weird huh? Like, a little unstable. I didn’t vote for Trump…and am very anti-trump, yet somehow you assumed I voted for him? Just because I, in a one line reply, asked what yiu meant by there “will be no election”?
There will always be elections at the end of terms. The statement seemed to make no sense.

    3. @P J I think you need to look into it further. That’s not what Marshall law is, and special circumstances need to be met to invoke it, along with approval from congress…which would never happen. Lol…legislature didn’t just make a law that could be used willy nilly to become a dictator whenever one wanted to.

    1. Nah, Trump is just another American president, more stupid than most but still a lying criminal pos.

    2. tRump must be removed from office! He is a clear danger to our Democracy & right to discuss what a fool he or anybody else is. If he wins the NOV. 2020 election by hook or crook then we can all kiss our right to free speech bye bye. He’s halfway there to becoming a full blown tyrant & its our right to chop him down.

  3. Wouldn’t it be the sweetest thing when The Whistleblower becomes time man of the year, and also gets a Nobel Prize!! Turn marmalade man into toast

    1. WHY DONT U BE BRAVE AND SAY WHAT U ARE THINKING? MOST LIKELY? YES HE HAS! JUST SAY IT—HES A CROOK AND NEEDS TO GO TO PRISON. “IF” HE IS DOING THIS? HOW RIDICULOUS—OF COURSE HES DOING IT –HE SAID SO HIMSELF.

    2. @Drew Oliver SHES NOT AFRAID AT ALL PERIOD. SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING. YOUR SHOULD BE PRAISING HER INSTEAD OF TRYING TO DEMEAN HER.

    3. @Drew Oliver because she doesn’t have to hold a vote to conduct the inquiry. There are enough votes in the house in support of the inquiry, but holding a vote now is equivalent to letting Trump dictate the terms of the investigation, which he has no right to do. It’s a power grab, and if it worked they would move the goalposts. There’s no reason to believe they would allow people to testify as long as the House votes first.

    4. @jane hyden They don’t hear what we hear, to them it’s an “ordinary guy” (which given he’s a multi generation silver spoon lifelong crook with a documented history of lies and crime is absurd) “telling it like it is”! The nuances of the law, even treason don’t matter, they just see Biden’s druggy kid using his dad’s name to make a buck. The bigger picture of what that does to the 18th century version of democracy America is attempting to maintain, at a time when 1% of the population control 92% of the wealth is lost on them, since that truth and narrative is never told on Fox.

  4. The law had been broken and Republicans are selling their souls to protect the law breaker! This is INSANE!

    1. Florida Crypto R Interesting points. The close ups of this monster reveal a bloated very unhealthy state. If he didn’t have his fake orange “tan” he would be a fat and bloated pasty white. Maybe he will resign or pop off. And all his appointments need to be rooted out. We need a whole task force to complete that.

  5. Compelling someone to disobey a legally issued and legally binding subpoena is witness tampering, pure and simple. Start arresting people…

    1. Certainly looks like one law for the people, and other laws for the rich, powerful and politicians.
This is why the people actually voted to drain the swamp…because it is a swamp.

    2. Arrest them for contempt, seize their assets and put them in the holding cages at the southern border. They might get the message that they are not above the law.

    3. What’s to stop Trump from arresting people (with aid of justice department/FBI/etc) once congress does? That’s why the Sergeant at Arms hasn’t been dispatched to start rounding people up. . .

  6. I think the spotlight needs to be put onto his enablers now. The 25th amendment should be invoked and he should be removed as unfit for office. This is just nonsense and stupidity and the US has been divided and damaged enough.

    1. @NPB Unfortunately the current Pentagon leadership was appointed by Trump. The new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Milley, is described by Trump as a “personal friend.” The rank and file of the military are overwhelmingly evangelicals whose churches preach “Trump the Chosen One.” They watch Fox News and believe in rightwing conspiracy theories, as the recent rash of soldier-involved domestic terrorists cases show. Has the Pentagon refused any of Trump’s crazy orders? No. In short, “We the People” are in serious trouble.

  7. He’s going to figure out when he wants to resign. He is just holding off until the other bitchass Republicans say it’s time for you to go.

    1. @Margit Ouma don’t be fooled by Trump he’s not as rich as he pretends to be, he’s probably gotten richer since he’s been in the white house because he’s been breaking laws every day

    2. @jim Moore I was talking about Sondlund. However this presidency is Trump just being a grifter. All of his people are hustlers and grifters. Trump can’t even take out a loan from most major banks except maybe Deutsche Bank and they’re notorious. He’s also been laundering rubles since 1995. Ever wonder why 2 of his 3 wives were from the formet Soviet Union or Eastern bloc? Putin’s got the goods on him and has had it for years.

    3. @jim Moore He’s leveraged the office of president to repay the Saudi and Russian loans he took on after American banks refused to loan to him. He’s desperately hiding his tax returns not because hes “loaded,” but because he came into this job insolvent.

  8. Trump is trying to prevent *EVERYONE* from testifying, so I guess that means he’s trying to hide everything then?

    1. Why act so incredibly guilty and hide all the people who could potentially clear your name, if you’re innocent? 🙂 Simple math. This has nothing to do with politics at this point; Trump knows he’s been caught (again) and knows that if the case moves forward it won’t be good for him personally or his failing brand.
