They work in Illinois pretty good.Before you buy a handgun you pay the legal gun dealer and wait three days,24 hours for a shotgun or rifle.Then the dealer calls the state police to check your background.When you pick up the gun you fill out the ffl form.
A permanent ban on assault weapons would definitely help.
I love all kinds of guns including assault weapons. I had a fascination of guns as a young kid and wanted to learn how to handle them. My Dad taught me how to safely hold and shoot a handgun and shot gun at age 13. As an adult I am a responsible gun owner. To many assault weapons are falling in the hands of people who are racist with a burning desire to murder those of color. I feel assault weapons should be permantely banned to halt this madness. Hate groups should be disband and closely monitored. These mass killings have to STOP.
How is it, that in the 73 years that Trump has been on this earth, he has never matured emotionally, intellectually, mentally, or socially? Trump is not a sentient being in any way shape or form.

Every hunter in Montana I know wants background checks. They believe every kid should take a very long and involved course in hunter safety. They keep all of their fire arms locked in safes. They support environmental organizations that keep parks open and safe for public use. A lot of them have stopped supporting the NRA and support organizations that are not about the gun manufacturers.
