  4. She probably asked him what they were going to have for lunch. These interactions at such gatherings are rather like dogs meeting in the off leash dog park. They sniff, say woof, and move on. The politicians come back home and say we talked about it. It could be anything that tickles the press and the flavour of the day. Not worth air time.
