  1. i’m finding increasingly disheartening to watch these videos – American democracy is dying.
I think i’ll just wait until one reads “Trump leaves office” and then I hope that democracy still has a heartbeat.

    1. @newmove Only because I’m #EnjoyTheShow type. The AI propaganda BOTS are an interesting study. Not to mention Lawrence, he’s a special case with a big jaw.

  2. Scott david: if you find it disheartenning as an Australian I am dumbfounded at your whole nightmare unfolding in front of you.

    1. I agree with your sentiment. The fact that so many are accepting what Trump and his associates spout as truth is mind boggling.

  3. The House of Representatives has done all it can really. It’s now up to a few Republican senators whether or not our Republic lasts.

  4. Remember, it would be going against the Constitution to NOT impeach Donald Trump.

That is how bad he is at this job.

  5. Limiting the article to just two, allows the House the option of a second or third impeachment when the courts finally rule that Tyrant Trump is not above the law.

    1. ruth depew – they (conservatives) are focusing on the air-tight, smoking gun that is apparent even to the lay person, the rest is circumstantial, only because of obfuscation and stonewalling of orders and subpoenas by the conservative side that has weight in their judicial system…ie: there are more conservatives in all law roles from police right on up to judges, go see for yourself, it’s the way they sway power confuse lay people into false beliefs? It’s a con.

  6. The Dems are *awfully incompetent.* They chose to ignore the dozens of real crimes that Trump committed (including those documented in the Mueller report) to focus on two that affect THEM: (1) using his powers to try to damage the image of a DEMOCRAT candidate, and (2) ignoring the subpoenas issued by the DEMOCRATS in the House.
Thus, as soon as the Senate rejects the impeachment, Trump can claim that (1) it was just a stupid POLITICAL stunt, and (2) the HOUSE ITSELF recognizes that he did NOTHING ELSE WRONG.
Prepare yourselves for another 5 year of Crazy King Trump (and maybe 40 of Queen Ivanka after that). And remember to thank Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, and all the other Dems who so diligently investigated their own navels for the last 3 years.

    1. Jorge Stolfi – they are focusing on the air-tight, smoking gun that is apparent even to the lay person, the rest is circumstantial, only because of obfuscation and stonewalling of orders and subpoenas by the conservative side that has weight in their judicial system…ie: there are more conservatives in all law roles from police right on up to judges, go see for yourself, it’s the way they sway power confuse lay people into false beliefs? It’s a con.

    2. @Don Quixote That is my point: those articles are NOT meaningful to the lay person. Why is asking Ukraine to fake an investigation on Biden worse than Sheldon donating 35 million to the GOP SuperPac, or Bloomberg spending nearly as much on his own campaign? Or of district voting, the electoral college, and unlimited terms for Congressmen? They are are all terrible rapes of democracy; why is this one impeachable matter, while the others “just the way politics works”?
Mueller documented dozens of cases of obstruction of justice, against a clearly non-partisan investigation of a Russian attack that should concern everybody. Why did the Dems choose to leave those charges out? It looks like they are considering those crimes acceptable…

  7. People and GOP members endorsing Trump are all traitors and certainly NO PATRIOTS. If they are oke with Trump treason why don’t they all go to Russia.

  8. More importantly, once he has been removed either by impeachment or the next election, don’t let him get away with his crimes. Donald belongs in prison, as do many of his enablers and co-conspirators.

    1. Annie Okay. Then we can vote Trump out in 2020…and THEN prosecute him for his crimes. 65% of Americans want Trump out.

  9. If the shoe was on the other foot the republicans would have had no shame in coming up with 10 articles of impeachment. Why are the dems so timid. “We dont want to divide the country👳👮👷”. The country is already divided dammit😬😬😬

  10. If Kim Jong Un were to run for the US presidency in 2020, Republicans would be faced with a tough choice: a tyrannical dictator with weird hair or an Asian guy with a strange haircut.
