Right to life. Life needs healthcare. Healthcare is a right!
You need food to live too… So free food! Or maybe people need to work for food. A private doctor works, a private farmer works, etc. However, the government could create a healthcare system that can coexist with private healthcare, it won’t be as good as private healthcare but might drop healthcare prices(which is good).

@brian gardner The way you say it ALL Democrats purposely go out and get pregnant, go to nearly full-term and then abort. Seriously, the numbers of people that do this are minute, and I’m not defending them, but the laws are there to protect the mother’s life. Complications can arise and unfortunately, drastic steps need to be taken. The was you pro-lifers look at it is every woman MUST give birth, regardless of whether the Mother or the baby survive. And what I take offence to is once the baby is born, you no longer care what happens, you’re all for high drug prices, out of reach insurance and no support for the families that are struggling. If you’re a true *pro-lifer* , show compassion for the *living* .
Google the 9th Amendment, Rights, do NOT have to be defined within the Constitution.

Bernie reminded me why I love him a few times but mostly it was the same ol’ long strings of numbers that average people cannot put into context. I mean it’s seriously a waste of breath to say “the ________ industry took in 367 billion dollars over the past ___ years” etc. Is 367 million a lot? My buddy and I were commenting about that during Bernie’s first answer, and I said, “Now Warren will come in and say exactly what he did, but with names instead of numbers” and that’s what she did immediately.
I’m sorry, I know Bernie’s actually more Progressive, I want what he has to offer and I probably will vote for him in the primary, but I do not expect him to be the nominee anymore. I sure would love a S/W or W/S ticket though!

@Judith Smith roads are not socialism. If you are talking about local, it is the people of the state and towns that put together money and build them. But the interstates where allowed by the supreme court under two constitutional mandates, one the commerce clause, to help goods to pass between states. The second is the, common defense clause, to move tanks and men around the country quickly. Not socialism.

Reality? His multimillionaire father, he built NYC City Housing Complexes, after a 6 year battle with it, it eventually develops into total dementia, passed away in 1999 from Alzheimer’s. Track down videos of him from 15 to 20 years ago, then Google the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, it’s pretty obvious what’s happening, his brain is crashing.
