  1. Remember when GW Bush said Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.
    But he actually didn’t.
So he declared war on them anyways?
    Good times. 😅

    1. @Shrek The Founders probably didn’t anticipate we’d ever become the world military superpower either: Their idea of American foreign military interventions was the Barbary Coast, thus, unless horrendous war crimes are directly ordered by a President, then no, jingoism isn’t Impeachable, particularly since it was Congress that authorized the War as well.

    2. @Shrek Killing thousands of Americans and wasting trillions of tax dollars, should be Treason and subject to Death penalty.
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Perle. Could still be prosecuted for Treason against USA. Putting Israel concerns ahead of USA.

    3. Whatever Israel wants Israel gets. Makes sense why Jeffrey Epstein was running a blackmail operation for the Israeli Mossad. Blackmail the leaders and get the to fight your wars 🖕🏿🇮🇱

    1. Xoi, what are you talking about? Orwell was an Imperial Police Officer in India. Then he volunteered and served in the Spanish Civil War. He tried to serve in WWII, but was rejected due to health problems (some thought he had TB) he contracted during the Spanish Civil War. So, he definitely did serve.

  2. In related news, anyone who’s been paying attention for the last decade already knew this… Thanks for showing up late to the party to let us know that we’re at a party.

    1. @Shirley Bailey I’ve come out on top of a lot of brawls back in the day, too. I don’t see that as my greatest sign of intelligence.

    2. @Joe Boyko That’s pretty much it.

The Deep State got us in this mess and they need to be weeded out and kept out of power.
Maybe there should be a mandatory 20 year max for “career’ government employees. I also suggest a 6 term maximum for serving in the House of Representatives and a two term maximum for serving in the Senate. Oh and with no retirement program.

    3. @gnomie first Yes, Vietnam was a Civil War.
Afghanistan is now in Civil War. It’s the Afghani’s who cooperated with Western Powers against Afghani’s/ Taliban who didn’t. As soon as we leave, there will be full blown very violent civil war in Afghanistan.

  3. “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist” Dwight D. Eisenhower

    1. @ Nick Irby It is Shamefully Amazing how many lives this Pervasively ignorant ” loud and proud, ” ” Hamburger Hill ” Mentality has consumed ! : (

    1. @Kellen Richey try again Bush didn’t take us with boots in the ground in Afghanistan that was your lovely Barack Hussein Obama
everybody with any brains at all have seen that everybody that’s went into Afghanistan since the time of Christ has went bankrupt
I don’t think we should have went into Iraq either we should have found out where the terror terrorist came from and annihilated their hometowns

  4. For all with a brain, these so called journalists have known this for year’s in fact paid to keep quiet about it. Now that they are going to be exposed themselves they choose to report on it now. We cannot trust our own media to inform us until they’ve painted themselves into a corner. I do have a problem with them deceiving us. So should you all

    1. I have more of a problem with our government lying to us, but they have been lying to us all my life (60 years). My dad said that they lied during WWII, pretty sure they aren’t going to stop now. Any thing to keep the war machine in business

    1. @lelennyfox34 Independent journalists, podcasts, and checking as many sources as you can. Don’t expect one or two outlets to give you 100% of the information.

  5. This is precisely what Eisenhower was talking about when he warned of the danger of allowing the military industrial complex to become to large or influential.

    1. HonestHedgehog Life
Whats the point? Been there done that, complaining doesnt work. Now if the anti war movement wanted to get more ‘aggressive’ then that might boost morale.

    1. Unlike CBS News, who recently fired one of their staff members for leaking the Epstein murder details before realizing she wasn’t working for ABC News. Baby steps, people, baby steps.

  6. Kurtz: Are you an assassin?
    Willard: I’m a soldier.
Kurtz: You’re neither. You’re an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill.
