  1. Trump says that because of the fact his Uncle went to MIT, it means he doesn’t need to be tested for COVID-19. Sounds legit to me.  So if you’re the nephew of an Uncle who attended MIT, you’re GOOD. 👍😆😉

Trump: “You know, my uncle was a great person. He was at MIT. He taught at MIT for, I think, like a record 100 years. He was a great super genius, which is probably where I get my super-duper GENESIS from.  I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it. Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?  You seem to know more about this stuff than we do!!” Which is probably true.  Maybe I have like a natural ability….like rain-man. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”

    1. @old Head lol, sure bud. Cause video evidence of said officials coughing, sweating bullets and looking sicker than an unvaccinated kid, ain’t proof. Nor the events of the individual attending and political figures as well, dont show any fact or possiblity of trump ever getting it. Cause some how, an epidemic is a hoax.

    2. @tom smith Why are you upset? It is not fake, DJT said all this at his press conference with the CDC. I listened to it 3 times to make sure I heard it correctly. You are reading what he said and it’s not the smartest thing someone could say. ( maybe the “super duper genius” and the “rain man” references were exaggerations but he did say, his uncle was an MIT super genius and that’s why he understands what the doctors were all talking about.

    3. @Jo Zippy But they didn’t shut down Italy. People may not be dying but definitely the world is a little more stressed about this one.

  2. I lived in both Germany and Korea.
Folks there have a level of common sense way superior to us here in the US.
Like 200 years ahead of our civil society.

Something as simple as sweeping or shoveling snow off a city owned sidewalk is done naturally by the people.
Here in the US people call Public Worls for it.

    1. American culture is very self-centered and profit focused. Which makes for a bad situation in a time like this. People don’t care if they go out in public and infect weak people, they don’t want to take any personal responsibility to control the virus. Trump has made that mindset even worse. People dying is not as important as pretending this isn’t happening and boosting travel profits.

    2. Germany and Korea have a culture touting relatively high standards for hygiene, individual self-discipline, and social responsibility. It’s possible for every country to do this, but they have to popularize and institutionalize the ideas.

    3. @iSkeptical
      Easy on the $600B partner.
Wife and I are both military…….and that’s how we get socialized healthcare, 30 days paid vacation, maternity leave, paternity leave, and some paid sick days ……..

      Lol…..I agree…….war is our #1 industry.

$600B is just the public figure.
The undisclosed amount could easily match the public one.

    4. @Dangic23 yet it’s kind of sad that the military is the only guarantee to receive paternity and maternity leave

    5. @iSkeptical I get i! You can include the big handouts to the richest people and corporations too! Socialism is good for the super rich! Everyday working majority not so much.

  3. Many of us have desensitized ourselves from the whole thing. We know how big this is, we see what may happen next but everyone in charge is being completely passive. I feel like they know this is beyond their comprehension. So, instead of making the wrong choice, they make no choice. There needs to be set guidelines with clear directions for all of us to follow. We need an informed individual to take charge, to be able to anticipate what ways things may go and have plans in place for us to execute.

    1. They know, they have just decided not telling is better than mass panic, what would you do in their shoes?

    2. Olivia H. Sanchez Most people just look the other way and say wow, it’s not going to happen here.

    3. Again, we need an informed individual or group. The group should have included, at least, a couple of medical doctors who specializes in Infection Control, an epidemiologist and Pandemic Advisor. What I would have done is start planning as soon as we became aware of what was happening in China. Made sure we had all urgent care, emergency room, ICU staffs screened and cleared. I would have some kind of insensitive (either tax breaks or first to get trail vaccination) to all hospitals who retrained all of their staff on infection control. I have had my specialist coordinate with many hospitals (20 across the country), on creating a system, in order to allow our specialized ten teams (who would be working off the same framework but communicating with eachother any and all information, adjustments, successes, failures), the chance to be ready to mobilize to their strategies, to at least, ten different locations, once the virus showed itself.
I would make sure we were using what we were copying the drive thru testing sites from the Korean, in order to really know how many are infected, determine whether they can safely self monitor, have the very sick assisted to a designated “quarantined hospital”, and for those who for self quarantine, have them set up a follow up home visit from a doctor and nurse. That would be just off the top of my head.

    1. Tell all the people you know to vote for Bernie Sanders because by November everyone in this country will agree we need Medicare for all and Sanders will win in a landslide

    2. @John Edward Unfortunately it’s looking like Biden will be the primary for the democratic party. With Joe’s dementia and being a heavy moderate, nothing much will change.

  4. LOL… THE doctor said that the US Health Care system should be nationalized!!! Maybe it will take a crisis to change the fake US private healthcare system

    1. COMMUNIST!!!!

How DARE YOU suggest…oh, wait…oh nevermind. Great idea!

(Don’t you wish things were as simple as they could be?)

Also, I hope everyone against “socialism” doesn’t ever plan on collecting “social security” and is in the process of getting all their social security taxes reimbursed from the government because, you’re no socialist, by god. Oh, and, stay off the roads, they’re socialist, taxpayer roads.

    2. @Flock of Beagles oof, they might as well live near or in the woods/mountains/hills. Including politicians that are agisnt “socialist programs”, in addition schools and various other programs. Especially those tax cuts and aid giving to big companies and businesses.
But, wont happen till another dust bull or something equal to it or worest occurs. Or, the majority of older americans finally get their heads out of the ground and actuall look into what they’re voting for. But, they rather take everyone down with them, cause we lazy basteres who depend too much on tech, while they have machines and various methods keep them going.

  5. First Staple Mango Mussolini mouth shut. He’s worst than a virus with his lies and disinformation. Contradicts CDC and scientists

    1. @Brian Ward Prove one lie. Coranavirus isn’t a hoax. Saying the current administration mishandled it is hoax. Get a brain, loser.

    2. @Chelsey Benson I bet you can’t find a link to a single actual lie. You’re just too stupid and too gullible to realize you’re being played for a fool.

    3. @Rae Mini Hopa I read a saying recently, “You don’t need to explain yourself to idiots. You’re not the fookface whisperer.” So true when it comes to folks who don’t want to see the truth. LOL

    4. Biasly Unbiased Why do you think he is lying? What disinformation is he propagating? I would be interested to know!

    5. @Marcus Wardle Because these ignorant hater / loser clowns are stupid and believe everything the fakes news tells them.

  6. The “greatest country in the world” can’t even test its people for the virus. South Korea has tested 3, 800 per million people. The US? 5 per million people. Thanks, Trump!

    1. Sux_2_B_U I hope you are right and it’s all fake news. I honestly really do not want to see 100’s die and the economy go into recession.

    2. @Tee Kaybe The virus is real. The only fake part is the fake news blaming it on the Trump administration. But this too shall pass and Dems will be on the next hoax soon enough. I hope this one has the “solemn” clown show and little funeral procession like the Ukraine hoax. That was hilarious.

    3. Doug E haha better don’t compare to that capacity and efficiency of CCP China….Trumps said US system is far ahead ya

  7. It’s hard to contain the coronavirus, with no leadership. Trump needs to stop spreading, his usual rhetoric, of fake news, and start getting on board with truth, before it gets beyond the point of no return.

    1. Yes declare martial law and restrict people rights. Enact the 8 zone C.D.C. containment system.

    2. We are already there. That is why the doctor said in a few weeks the hospitals will be overrun. It has a two week incubation period. It has already spread throughout the US. They just are not testing and our country is downplaying the severity of this. SARS expert Professor Gabriel Leung predicts that 45-60 million will die from this. The US will be hard hit because we are not preparing. We are not testing, not instructing our medical personal, not gathering needed supplies, not instructing all citizens to limit leaving their homes except for work, not instructing people to wear masks and more. The US is also at great risk because we don’t have universal healthcare, which means that a lot of people will go untreated and be out there spreading it even further. This will be bad.

    3. @Territell me who you know that has ever been turned away from a hospital and not been treated in a emergency. I am willing to bet you know of no one who has been turned away from a hospital for emergency treatment.

    4. John Te Whauwhau
He is patently incapable of doing that. It’s just not gonna happen. Pigs can’t fly. Research narcissists and cluster B personalities and you’ll see.
However, your idea is 100% correct. That is what is needed.
This isn’t about politics. This is about lives and logistics.

  8. Lock down the Whitehouse, cut their phone lines, shut down Donald’s twitter account, keep Melania on her tennis court, Stop the BS Virus of Donald.

    1. Please, no fear mongering 😁, borders aren’t as dense as in NYC. Keep social distancing, don’t touch anything in public spaces 😅😅

    2. @LLT Collection Donald says its just a Democratic hoax, just the flu, and no one dies from the flu. Trust him, he’s a very very smart stable genius who gets great ratings.

    3. @tom smith Donald said Mexico would send him a check during the campaign, now it gets tacked on to consumer prices. Next it will be taken out of the SPACE FORCE profits, too bad Donald’s Mob NY Cement pals missed out on the deal.

    4. @bill boyd YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY WRONG, LIBERAL TURD SNOWFLAKE. THE USMCA DEAL PROVIDES FOR BILLIONS IN INCOME THAT PREVIOUS TO OUR FINE LEADER WAS NOT THERE. PRESIDENT TRUMP STANDS ALONE AND EVEN ABOVE LINCOLN AS OUR GREATEST PRESIDENT BAR NONE. HE SAVED US FROM UNAMERICAN DIARRHEA BRAINS LIKE YOU. TRUMP 2020 AND TRUMP 2024. WE’RE GOING TO WIN.

  9. CDC is terrified to say that their emperor has no clothes, no underwear and that he’s soiled his diaper (again).

    1. @Emily Moss Emmy no Joe he’s got it about right. And you guys are getting political which is pretty gross concerning this. It’s scary times he’s on top of it with his experts. Doing the best we can babe.

    2. @Emily Moss Emmy are you really going to get political on this shame on you. I suppose you’d rather run around the streets with your hands in the air screaming it sounds like your style. Crate panic right after that I want to hear you say go Bernie go Bernie

    3. @Better English yes and I’m all for breaking the Norms he’s done some incredible things. Here’s a list so you can learn

Wages for typical workers are rising at their fastest rate in a decade

Wages for nonsupervisory employees — who make up 82% of the workforce — are rising at the fastest rate in more than a decade, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Why it matters: It indicates that the benefits of a tightening labor market and a time of historically low unemployment rates are finally being passed along to most workers.

The big picture: Workers at the bottom of the pay scale have been feeling positive effects on their wages at the end of 2019 — especially when compared to those at the top.

Pay rates the bottom 25% of wage earners rose 4.5% in November from a year earlier, while wages for the top 25% of earners rose only 2.9%, per data from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

The bank also found that the rate of pay rises for low-skilled workers matched those for high-skilled workers last month for the first time since 2010.

Go deeper: Job loss predictions over rising minimum wages haven’t come true

Y’all stop getting political over the virus that’s dangerous and really wrong

    4. @Stephen Schmengle Stephen, stop drunk commenting.
Hate to break it to ya moron, but TRUMP “made it political” when he hired sycophant Mike Pence to deal with the outbreak, and not a healthcare professional with years of experience dealing with disease outbreak.

  10. Trump has failed again as a leader. This time unforgivable. He is jeopardizing Human life and he knows it. All about the numbers… Despicable President and incompetent Administration!!

    1. Been a Trump fan for a long time, no doubt he has been inflating the economy and has badly managed this epidemic IMO. However, still better than the demoncrats being in charge. Can you imagine if sleepy joe was in charge? He wouldnt even know the difference between his wife and sister or if he is president or a senator… he would take our guns and blame them for the Virus. Lets go TRUMP get your ‘stuff’ together!

    2. @KrypticPatriot Herr Comrade: You are getting EXACTLY what you and Putin wanted when you helped Putin usurp the AMERICAN ELECTED by 2.8 Million AMERICAN VOTERS President from her legitimate duties.
I do not have the energy to list what all the Democrats INCLUDING JOE BIDEN and most especially THE LEGITIMATELY ELECTED BY AMERICANS not RUSSIANS President would have done better. But you can start with KNOWING THERE WAS A PROBLEM and not contradicting your own experts with every tweet.
It is hard to not pray that Darwin acts before you and your comrades have a chance to do even more damage to what WAS the LEADER OF THE FREE and 1st WORLD before you do even more damage to OUR CHILDREN’S FUTURE.
More people need to stop being “Politically Correct” and start calling your ilk out for what you are and what you have done.

  11. t’rump doesn’t want more testing because he doesn’t want the numbers to go up. Screening patients and keeping people healthy…not even a priority for him. Sad. 👎

    1. @Chris o “I don’t want the people off the boat. Because I like the numbers to be low.” – t’rump revealing his real priorities.

    2. Old Guys Place I disagree you test your self and you can prevent others from getting sick. Trump doesn’t want people tested because that is going to make hospitals and emergency clinics start treating patients and the “death” care insurances don’t want to have that expense. Looking at what has happened in china, or Italy It will come any way upon us. And by the way things are handle here it might be worse than any other place I have seen on the news. What kind of reasoning is that of yours? People are being tested more than once in many countries, the only thing that can be done is identifying the sick person and try to infect as little as possible!

    3. @Chris Parker apparently you have not been reading comments on here then .clowns are whining about not being able to be tested and there are not enough test kits to test everyone. So tell us in your infinite wisdom how do we fix the issue. Who can fix it and how can they fix it ? You seem to think some other person is the answer, so who is it and how are they going to fix it ?

  12. The Americans easily forget past tragedies all we do is act when is too late instead what we should be doing is prevention protocols

    1. Luis Perez America is a very young country….compared to other countries that have been through many many things.

    2. gene colon
That’s not right. It used to be that America showed the way in many fields to the rest of the world. The US has one of the very best national health systems up until the 50’s. It’s been since Reagan that all of that infrastructure has been dismantled in favor of a for profit private healthcare system.

    3. “you can always count on America doing the right thing after they’ve tried everything else”. Winston Churchill.

  13. “Why is there not a plan to combat this?”
Trump fired the people who would have managed this current epidemic years ago.

    1. Sux_2_B_U I’ll have you know my English is very good, my IQ is high, and as for fake news there is no such thing! There is only news and you have to have the reasoning skills to disassociate right from wrong. As such I read articles from six newspapers, gain news from various tv sources. Although I do not converse in another language I can understand German. I can also read Anglo-Saxon and Tudor English. Just knowing how to spell a word does not make you smart. It is the the use of it that shows intelligence. I would prefer to think of you as a cumberworld, or even more a fopdoodle bobolyne.

    2. @Marcus Wardle If you were smart you’d realize the fake news is Kabuki Theater for imbeciles designed to trick them info voting Democrat. We roll our eyes and laugh at your ignorance, gullibility, and stupidity every day.

    3. Sux_2_B_U Why do you assume that I would vote Democrat? You are putting your assumptions upon my reasoning which indicates a low level of intelligence.

    4. @Paul Y And killing Soleimani COULD start WW III. It’s not news unless it actually happens. This is typical fake news stuff, they make all these dire predictions that never come true, just to keep ignorant gullible hater/loser clowns riled up.

  14. The postmortem on what went wrong is simple: there is a dangerously incompetent and corrupt goon in the White House.
