    1. cj p – 20% of the public wants full disarm. Look up the stats. 20% is marginal. So, to you, ANY attempt to regulate must mean the man wants to fully disarm you, so therefore, there can be no regulation? Makes no sense.

  17. You can kill just a many people with a handgun (see Virginia Tech), and this “assault weapons” ban is only the first step to banning those, too (“gotta start somewhere”). It’s these guns the Left is really after. And once they’ve banned handguns (leaving us with essentially slings and arrows to defend ourselves), the next thing they’ll ban is your freedom: The abolition of the 2nd Amendment is but a necessary step to abolishing the 1st.
