    1. In the South…. They need to be around the voting sign up places and early voting places to stop the buying votes scheme…. 🤷🤷🤷🤷

    2. Meanwhile, Democrats are against passing voter ID laws so illegals can be allowed to vote.
Democrats are also trying to impeach a President chosen by the people because they claim the people are going to vote him back in come 2020. The irony lol

    3. Explain where you’ve seen voter suppression. I live in Georgia, by the way, so please tell me what you’ve seen as proof of voter suppression. I’ll wait.

    1. The Dems DID cheat in the 2016 election and got caught. And Trump STILL won. Go figure.
But I’d like to hear how Trump tried to cheat. Go ahead. Give it to me, baby.

    1. We also have the duty to see they are counted correctly. That’s now happening and the Communist never win when truth get’s involved. Hence the screaming. LOL The more exposure the better.

    2. Yes, every legal American citizen that went through the legal process of becoming a citizen and knows our constitution and taught American history should be allowed to vote.

  1. A rare occasion where I agree with Chris Matthews. I am from Finland, and it’s hard to fathom why you have such complicated rules and systems around voting. In Finland, if you are 18 or older, you are allowed to vote. You don’t need to register to vote – you are automatically registered to vote. When a vote is coming up, everybody gets sent a notification of their right to vote in the upcoming election, with directions on how to absentee vote if you so choose, or where your designated place to vote is (typically a public building of some sort, like a school, nearest to where you live).

We do require ID’s, but everybody has an ID, or can aquire one with little cost. If the cost is prohibitive to you, if you are poor, you’ll be on government assistance, and the government will pay for your ID.

Oh, and we don’t have voting machines. Too vulnerable to hacking, and their use would erode the trust in the validity of elections – we use paper ballots.

That’s it. It doesn’t have to be that complicated, and the duty of any democratic system is to make sure that everybody gets a chance to vote.

    1. What’s the population of Finland? How many immigrants outside of your culture come there percentage wise? Have you visited London Lately? What a stupid statement, and only would be made on Communist Controlled media. God Bless

    2. One reason it’s complicated is that we are a federal republic, and most of these policies and procedures are set at the state level. _Some_ states have automatic voter registration. _Some_ states use paper ballots. Rules for candidates vary, too.

    3. @Erik Rensberger Seriously, it’s only complicated by Propaganda. Most people want to live a truthful life and not steal from others. Chris Mathews is an AGENT to distort that and gets paid well to distort that very fact. He’s promoted wars and destruction world wide, but now HATES a president trying to stop it. It’s obvious.

    4. It’s corruption at its most basic level. There are more progressive thinking people in the country, and if not oppressed by corrupt voting laws, the Repugnicans would never hold power. Their only chance to control the levers of power is to cheat and lie. Their followers willingly go along and vehemently pounce on any one telling the truth because their tiny minds know that controlling women, denying minority rights and access to opportunity for “others” is only possible when they deny the vote to as many non-whites and progressives as possible. Watch as they ramp up the violence as more and more pressure is brought to bear on their tactics.

  2. Let’s end all colonies (and commonwealths, territories, etc) everywhere! Let’s give Puerto Rico their Independence and wipe their debt, supporting them in their transition and in disaster aid as brothers forever.
They are American citizens with US passports but cannot vote for president, like an oppressed colony.
    #EqualityMovement #PuertoRicoCrisis #FreePuertoRico #PuertoRicoLibre

  3. At least we No Longer have to take the _”How Many Bubbles Are in a Bar of Soap”_ Intelligence Test, in order to cast our ballot. Once a common practice.

  4. Try telling the xenophobic GOP that…
They only consider “themselves” as the “True americans” after all and everyone else either a traitor, a invader, or cheap labor.

They don’t care about democratic rights at all.

    1. Actually, we care about maintaining our democracy, and not losing it. We believe that voting is one of the most sacred rights as an American citizen. We believe all American CITIZENS should vote. You’ll have to explain how that is wrong. And it seems to me that YOUR side is the side enamored with “cheap labor” as that’s one of your main arguments for allowing illegal aliens to come freely into our country and then giving them free stuff to make their lives here easier, including voting rights. Please explain how American citizens are NOT the “true Americans”. You’re comment is stupid.

  5. I want every high school graduation in America to have a voter registration table set up in a high traffic area this spring.

    1. Which is liberal speak for we should let illegal aliens and non-citizens to vote and that African Americans are too stupid to get an ID.

    2. It’s not, moron. Republicans want people to vote; we just want LEGAL citizens to vote LEGALLY. Hence, voter ID, voter registration, etc. It’s astounding that you believe it’s just too much to ask American citizens to actually be required to prove who they are in order to vote. If voting is so important, such an important civic right and duty, it should be just as important to make sure only people who are registered to vote and who can prove who they are should be allowed to vote. Simply astounding.

  6. The “Age of Empires” now
showing :the Dotage of the Dotard”, the “game of thrones” now showing “the game
of pubic-ans Dotards” Starwars is now taken over by the Dotardians re-pubic-ans
wars”…next :.The Art of A Dotard”
