CDOA-CDOAH Relief Concert for Dominica

January 7, 2014

Dear Friends and Nationals:

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year.

By now you are all aware of the disastrous effect the latest weather trough had on our island home, Dominica, and the extensive damage that resulted, greater than $45M EC in infrastructure repair and restoration. While the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has provided significant assistance and is working on rebuilding, approximately 50 households in Castle Comfort, Newtown, Kingshill, Citronier, Gutter Village, Loubiere, Bath Estate and Pointe Michel remain in need of basic relief items.

The Commonwealth of Dominica, Ontario Association (CDOA) and The Commonwealth of Dominica Association of Hamilton (CODAH) have organized a concert/variety show for the victims of the disaster, on Saturday February 1st in Toronto. Details on location will be provided shortly. Should you wish to participate in any manner in this fundraising initiative, kindly contact me at the telephone # below or at 416 596 9836.
