The usual suspension is one to two weeks – this is the longest since 1945, and the timing is clearly set to avoid any oversight during one of the most critical events in modern UK history. That makes it outrageous. Just like here – it is not unusual for a Senate Majority Leader to delay or prevent bills from coming to the Senate floor for a vote. But Moscow Mitch McConnell’s abuse of that power makes it outrageous.

This has been the longest Parliament since 1707.
To find a longer one you would have to pre date the UK and go to the 1640`s and the English Civil War with the aptly named “Long Parliament” of over 10 years.
