  1. Sounds like something trump would like to do. Sloppy BJ will regret this reckless move and so will the UK.

Looks like the UK has its own Dumbo wannabe.

As I explained to U.S. right-wingers, if you elect, on our part and select on the U.K.’s part, a clown for your leader then don’t be surprised when it results in a three-ring-circus. And, that is exactly what we have with Trump and you with Johnson. Maybe they will learn a well-earned lesson when our economies lie in ruin on both sides of the pond. Johnson will probably try to blame it on the Queen, saying she should have refused my request.

How hard did May work on this Brexit and how much support did she get from Parliament? Seems they’ve just been an obstacle

    • TheDesert IsPatient             It’s called Democracy, dear. The Maybot wanted to get on with brexSHIT negotiation in secret and finish it without the Parliament knowing anything about it. So, THANK YOU GINA MILLER & PARLIAMENT for being an obstacle to the Maybot!

Looks like they have a Monarch that approved the matter.

Some Thing hence the reason the suspense no obstacle no problem bring on brexit

  4. For the Americans thinking this is outrageous, it really isn’t. Parliament is regularly suspended and the ongoing recess has been the longest since the civil war. MSNBC really has no idea what they’re talking about

    • Ayn Rand oh look it’s Paul Ryan

    • You seem to be fond of Any Rand who believed in unfettered capitalism and meritocracy. While your post may be valid, unfortunately your belief in Rand destroys any credibility you may have. Unless of course, you can convince me there in no luck in life or unfair advantage or disadvantage a person can encounter in life that can not be overcome by simply tightening ones belt and/or working harder and that the invisible hand of the free market will benefit us all. Good luck.

    • The usual suspension is one to two weeks – this is the longest since 1945, and the timing is clearly set to avoid any oversight during one of the most critical events in modern UK history. That makes it outrageous. Just like here – it is not unusual for a Senate Majority Leader to delay or prevent bills from coming to the Senate floor for a vote. But Moscow Mitch McConnell’s abuse of that power makes it outrageous.

Proroguing for Beginners (aka Future To the Back)

    First “take back democracy”
    It is sacrosanct,
None of it can reside elsewhere
Or else we’ll wet our pants

    Give it back to parliament
    We British are the best
But first we must prorogue it
Just in case it fails the test

    We’re bringing back our greatness
A time from times gone past
To explore this new world of ours
    It is truly vast!

    We’ve made new discoveries
    Of lands not known about
Strange it seems they’ve heard of us
And some of them have doubt

    No-one wants us
    No-one wants us
But we really do not care

    No-one wants us
    No-one wants us
But be sure we do and dare

    For we are brave we
    Had a navy
    Nowadays it is a barge

    But our vessel
    Though a mess will
    Pollute like Nigel Farage

Chuck stop interrupting ur guests. It’s very annoying and rude 😠😠

    • MSNBC has the trifecta of journalistic losers: Fredo, Chuckie, Maddog.

    • gourmet cavewoman it’s the job of a journalist to reign in a guest who’s not answering the question in a manner that educates the viewer… I guess.

Trump and Boris Johnson are “666” twins born to the devil to destroy the world. God Save use from these devils.

  8. Chuck doesn’t know when to shut up and let other people talk.
He’s either so full of himself that he has to always hear his own
voice or he’s bad at his job, which is to interview people in order
to uncover answers. Or maybe it’s a bit of both.

And to think it all started with duck houses! Civil war by the ballot between haves and have nots. Remainers fear losing wealth, savings, pensions and house prices and all the associated selfish materialism that snobbery and spiritual bankruptcy brings. Brexit ~The leveller, the societol reset button. Duck houses indeed!!🇬🇧

    Long live the Queen..!⚔

  14. Putin has to be just plain giddy right now, an American president in his pocket destroying America and its institutions of democracy and national defense alliances. Meanwhile Putin has Trumps smarter twin brother in Europe doing the same thing. I bet he never thought it would be this easy……neither did I

  15. 498 against 114 MPs voted for WTO Brexit as default option when they passed legislation for Art 50 😉 WTO Brexit has been approved with a huge 384 majority 😈

  16. Trump can only DREAM of suspending Congress. God bless our founding fathers for checks and balance.

    • BillyCaspersGhost | August 29, 2019 at 5:36 AM | Reply

Where are the checks and balances on keeping a Parliament Session going on indefinitely to no purpose  and in the face of a democratic decision achieved via a referendum these MPs voted to hold.(By a 6:1 majority.Just did not think it would turn out the way it did)
Where are the checks and balances on MPs acting against the wishes of a democratic referendum. They can keep going forever and it almost seems like they have.
This has been the longest Parliament since 1707.
To find a longer one you would have to pre date the UK and go to the 1640`s and the English Civil War with the aptly named “Long Parliament” of over 10 years.
This is not a parliament it is a filibuster on a grand scale.

What can the MPs do,if they continue to sit, except more of the same .Vote No to everything as they have over this year and more.
      Time to end it.

    • And we can thank Moscow Mitch for kneecapping those checks and balances.

  17. Boris Johnson..another putin puppet….SHAME

    • Tassos Platis | August 29, 2019 at 7:24 AM | Reply

Putin isn’t doing anything and he doesn’t have to.

If he really wanted to destroy the West he would be supporting left wing parties

    • What’s up with American liberals thinking everyone is a puppet of putin lmao your a spastic God save the queen 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

    • @Tassos Platis I’d say Putin is much more intelligent than that. He is promoting both the far-right and the far-left. It’s divide and rule.

  18. The UK tax payer which provides the luxury lifestyle for the royal family demands an answer why the queen approved this shut down! disgusting!

  19. richies quest | August 29, 2019 at 7:01 AM | Reply

No deal is better than a bad deal.
