Contact your senators now! Remind them of the oath they’ve taken to uphold the Constitution

@ASeasonedWitch YES! We must raise the Voice of the People and make it overwhelmingly undeniable when we ask our friends and families to do the same!

Mr. Bernstein comments on the Impeachment said it best: Midnight’s MITCH…

  7. Santorum makes me physically ill. I’ll call him a worm except that worms have a vital role on the earth.

  8. I served this country and every time I see this it makes me feel like I wasted my time! This is the greatest cover up in our lives and we are going to let trump get away with it!

sCHUBx – only if you don’t vote in 2020. We can burn down the gop by that simple action. Just vote blue in 2020

    • I vote blue every year!! We just need the majority of ppl to wake up and do the same thing and hope that big orange leaves without any issues.

    • Not for long?

We can raise the Voice of the People, and make it overwhelmingly, undeniable by asking our friends and families to do the same. We can convey our stance on impeachment and a fair Senate hearing-complete with witnesses and document evidence-IN THE FULL VIEW AND HEARING OF WE THE PEOPLE! No midnight maneuvers. 202-224-3121.

  9. Midnight in Moscow starring Mitch McConnell.

A biting cold, corrupt, noir, tragedy, about a turtle that betrayed his own morals, duty and country for the love of Russian money.

  10. “In Santorum’s own words. “There is no question as to how this is going to turn out.” This is not a trial, it is a sham.

    • @T R
Liberals like you are TRAITORS and should be rounded up and DEPORTED to your dream Country of Venezuela or Cuba.
Democrats have trashed the Constitution by using impeachment for PURELY HATE FILLED POLITICAL REVENGE reasons and NOTHING MORE.
I cannot wait until we have a Democrat President as we will do the SAME to him as you Crybaby Scumbags have done to Trump

    • Michelle Neville | January 21, 2020 at 10:05 PM | Reply

sun dial Please, Trump was revenge for a black president, get over it, stop threatening revenge, stop threatening civil war, so tired of Republican nonsense.

    • Spartanladkenny78 | January 21, 2020 at 10:28 PM | Reply

@sun dial STFU traitor! You imbecile Trump supporters don’t have the IQ to grasp issues so you repeat talking points. This is above your pay grade son. Go play with marbles.

    • Spartanladkenny78 | January 21, 2020 at 10:32 PM | Reply

@sun dial You’re too ignorant to know that Trump actually hasn’t claimed privilege. What his lawyers are arguing is that the courts have no right to decide a dispute between the executive branch and the legislative branch. The remedy they think should be followed is for the Congress to block funding etc to force the executive branch. Dumbass! The privilege comment I made is related to Trump “saying” it on TV. His lawyers know he’ll lose that argument too so they’re making a weird unprecedented constitutional argument. Sit down! This discussion isn’t for you

    • Spartanladkenny78 | January 21, 2020 at 10:35 PM | Reply

@sun dial you can’t wait until you do the same to Democratic president? Did you forget 3.5 years of Benghazi? 🤣 The only reason why they didn’t impeach Obama was because they didn’t find any wrongdoing. Benghazi had 33 hearings, 10 reports from EIGHT fucking investigations which found NOTHING. Not a single testimony confirming wrongdoing. Schiff has 17 testimonies corroborating same facts in 2 months. And he hasn’t even given any documents which Parnas has handed to the feds.

You’re the traitor who should be shot by a firing squad because in reality you’re a Russian troll bot!

  11. Have you ever seen a real showtrial? Strap yourselves in. You’re going see how the world’s wealthiest and most corrupt do it.

  12. “Whose responsibility is that?” Really? You want to go there? Trump ordered people to ignore House subpoenas and not testify.

    • YES, it’s called “executive priviledge”, shill. Civics 101 for Democrats.

    • @Shawn Corbin Invoking executive privilege about discussing, a perfect phone call? Yeah you’re lacking critical thinking skills. Trump is a dirtbag surrounded by criminals that he conveniently doesn’t know when they tell the truth.

    • Shawn Corbin , you have a very sketchy knowledge of Civics, Shawn ! Trump uses his own version of Executive Privilege, made up as he goes along showing how little HE knows how government works. He’ a fraud and will go down in the history books as a cheat, clown and a “stable genius” ! 😂

Rick Santorum is shaming himself with his specious arguments.

  14. After the coverup there needs to be a SECOND IMPEACHMENT!

  15. Why do you have Santorum on here? Ask him about Saddam’s WMD’S or his ties to Al Qaeda

  16. It adds balance to have Santorum on the panel. He’s a counterweight to the logical, smart, well spoken people.

  17. stephen bouchelle | January 21, 2020 at 11:58 AM | Reply

Poor Rick Santorum can only wince when he hears truths he doesn’t like.

  18. WE are smart enough to make up our own minds. WE know when we are being played.
We will not support a government that covers up anything…
    Facts, documents, witnesses, transparency. NOW.

    • The Democrat’s could’ve used the SCOTUS to force witnesses and access documents during the House inquiry process. They chose not to.
Instead, they ran an unfair, biased, flawed and rushed process that abused Congressional powers and spat on the Constitution.
It’s nonsensical to expect the Senate to make up for the the Dem’s incompetence and mistakes. As well, I hope you realize that the Senate is following the EXACT same process as Clinton’s impeachment.

  19. On July 23, 2019, Trump said this:  “I have an Article 2, where I have the right to do whatever I want as President.”😲
This is clearly a man who sees himself as a dictator. Since his campaign, Trump has been trying to tell us that he doesn’t believe in democracy or our Constitution. He said it when he bragged about shooting someone on 5th Ave. He said it when he bragged about falling in love with the most despotic dictator in modern history.

    June 15 2018
Trump praises Kim Jung Un ‘ control over his people.
“He’s the head of the country,” Trump said of Kim during a Fox interview.
“And I mean he’s the strong head. Don’t let anyone think anything different.”
“He speaks and his people sit up at attention,”  Trump added. “I want my people to do the same.”

    Sept 30 2018
Trump confesses the love he has for his muse, Kim Jung Un, during a rally.
“I like him, he likes me. I guess that’s okay. Am I allowed to say that?” Trump said.
“And then we fell in love, okay” he said. “No really. He wrote me beautiful letters, and they’re great letters. We fell in love.”

“If there is one fact we really can prove, from the history that we really do know, it is that despotism can be a development, often a late development and very often indeed the end of societies that have been highly democratic.. A despotism may almost be defined as a tired democracy. As fatigue falls on a community, the citizens are less inclined for that eternal vigilance which has truly been called the price of liberty; and they prefer to arm only one single sentinel to watch the city while they sleep.”
― G.K. Chesterton, The Everlasting Man

“There’s no English equivalent for silovik. It doesn’t translate succinctly because to create something as Machiavellian as a silovik requires both the KGB and the GRU, and then a shift from communism to capitalism, followed by a gear-grinding reverse into despotism.”
    ― Tanya Thompson, Red Russia

“The actions of government, we are told, bear down only on imprudent souls who provoke them. The man who resigns himself and keeps silent is always safe. Reassured by this worthless and specious argument, we do not protest against the oppressors. Instead we find fault with the victims. Nobody knows how to be brave even prudentially. Everyone stays silent, keeping his head low in the self-deceiving hope of disarming the powers that be by his silence. People give despotism free access, flattering themselves they will be treated with consideration. Eyes to the ground, each person walks in silence the narrow path leading him safely to the tomb.”
― Benjamin Constant, Principles of Politics Applicable to All Governments

“The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That in its essence is fascism: ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power.”
    ― Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The Founders placed articles of impeachment in the Constitution for the purpose of protecting our democracy. A democracy that Trump clearly has no respect for, and is trying to tear apart.

Article II, Section 4, says the president “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
