Bernie Sanders Beats Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar In Close N.H. Primary – Day That Was | MSNBC

  1. Here’s the big MSM question right now: who’s the media going to be in love with more as the great centrist hope – Pete or Amy?

    1. they’re leaning towards amy because its harder for them to sell pete to black and brown voters. let them duke it out. biden, amy, pete and bloomberg. that way bernie will walk out victorious from south carolina.

    1. The working class blue collar crowd is doing just fine under President Trump. We don’t need any hate mongers, career politicians and least of all a socialist to ruin that. Be careful what you vote for.

    2. @TheTribe8080 who was in office when the banks were bailed out? Banks and auto makers should not have been bailed out, that I agree. Don’t psycho analyze someone based on your screwy thoughts.

Next you will be calling me a “racist”….. the left is just….. comical!

    3. @giffjp I never said that but it’s just ironic how you’re a republican with this ideology when your party bails out banks and gives tax breaks to the rich.

  2. Nice to hear from some of those that do actual journalism at MSNBC rather than just establishment gatekeeping from the likes of Chuck Todd or rank insane fearmongering from Chris Matthews.

    1. Todd called his supporters Nazi Brownshirts, when Bernie is a descendant of people who died in the Holocaust. Sickening!

  3. I tough we are supposed to support the winner! I would like for MSNBC to talk more about the winner than to focus on the looser and what the can do to catchup. Support Sanders!!!

So to your comment Germany has already been taken down, correct?
Because Germany has universal health, child and elder care, strong labor union and worker protection rights, at least one year paternal leave, a fairly good working infra structure and at least somewhat acceptable plans to fight climate change.
So far as I know their economy is doing quite well right now. I actually know that because I live in Germany, too.
What Sanders wants to accomplish is what we here in Germany already have since decades.
You want to know why the Social Democrats in Germany messed up that much?
Quite simple. They made Gerhard SchrΓΆder the chancellor and their party leader. His neoliberal right wing politics crushed the Social Democratic Party and now it struggles hard to find its place because the Christian Democratic Party moved more to the left under the leadership of Angela Merkel and took parts of the Social Democratic voters.
And other parts moved to the Green party and the Left party.
It can be said that the Green party is the new Social Democratic Party.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if the Green party becomes the strongest party in the German Parliament (Bundestag) in the near future and even presents the next chancellor.
Even a coalition between all the left parties might become possible at the federal level in Germany after the next election.
And that wouldn’t be that bad. Germany actually needs to strengthen and expand its social programs like the social housing program and the universal care insurance.
And the minimum wage needs to be raised up to at least €12.50, maybe even up to €14.00. And Germany is missing a proper wealth tax. Billionaires are a system failure and shouldn’t exist as a class. This applies to Germany, too.

    2. @Ewald Bracko GermanyΒ΄s Utopian System is collapsingn rapidly. Millions of retirees are on the streets with the homeless. Unlike 50 years ago, not everyone can afford universal medicare.

    3. @Andrew Rourke
Stop painting everything as black as the night!
As I told you I AM LIVING THERE!
Although the system is far from being perfect (too much administrative health care costs for example because Germany has around 100 competing non profit insurers and eye glasses, dental care and hearing aids are only partially included) it works quite well and is in my opinion far superior to the system in the USA.
And sorry, but it isn’t true that millions of people are on the streets right now!
Yeah, Germany has to think about solutions for its housing crisis and the rising rents caused by it. One solution could be to implement a better public transportation system because in rural regions many houses are empty. Another solution could be that the government both on state and federal level invests much more in public owned social housing programs to build new affordable houses and flats.
Those programs are more likely to be implemented when left oriented parties gain control over the government because those parties usually put the people before the corporations. And it’s actually not the case that Germany can’t afford those things.
CDU/CSU were way too long in the government right now and blocked most of the necessary progress on that front. Their neoliberal oriented politics which favors corporations over people actually led to that housing crisis.
Some idiots like SΓΆder for example even sold public social housing assets to private investors and that only increased the crisis.
But as I already said, living in Germany is still far better than living in the USA right now.

  4. Remind turnout!! Yes!! Finally some great candidates on the democratic for people to come out in droves to vote. #Bernie2020 #notmeus #medicareforall #nomorewars

    1. Buttigieg got a few more delegates in Iowa, because Iowa was a total clusterfuck. He didn’t get more delegates in NH, however. And Buttigieg will not do well in most other states, where he is polling as low as 4% in many of them.

    2. @Bye Golly Not a single person has questioned that. Actually, everyone NEEDS to know that in order to be upset. So you really aren’t offering new insights. People are upset that it works that way and that votes are not equal.

  5. MR. PRESIDENT..Bernie Sanders!! 2020!!!πŸ”΅πŸ”΅πŸ”΅βœŒβœŒβœŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    1. @UglyhoodRAT I’m a former national delegate to the DNC in 2016, you are uninformed. The delegates are ASSIGNED at the state level.

      Find my picture here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/made-by-history/wp/2017/07/20/the-millennial-lefts-war-against-liberalism/

Raising my fist to the DNC on behalf of Bernard Sanders as a national delegate in 2016. I am once again, a State delegate for Bernie 2020 in Kentucky.
So what don’t i know about this process?

    1. Gombal Mukiyo72 Why because they might have to pay their fare share. πŸ‘‰πŸ”₯πŸ‘ˆβ€οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

    1. Because he received less votes this time than he did in 16. Calm down Bernie bro because it doesn’t matter in the slightest anyway.
