    1. The Medical Examiners office identified both suspects and determined the cause of of Schmegelsky and McLeod. The processes involved are meticulous and exacting scientific processes and involve close examination of the remains with the intent of bringing closure to all involved. In this case the forensics involved have not been made public because they are being used in an ongoing RCMP investigation. Again unfounded speculation can cause investigators to engage in chasing ghosts while sifting through the body of evidence to find the truth behind this tragedy.

  1. May I ask what is happening inside Canada now .. there are so many shooting crimes from Toronto to Vancouver, from South to north? What the Hell is going on?

    1. What is going on is the decline of postmodern civilisation due to the loss of respect among younger members of that same postmodern civilisation. It is not only in Canada but everywhere.

    2. No Justin Trudeau is not causing anything it is the influence of Donald’s America’s influence of gun culture that is comming to Canada !!!

  2. Well, if the weapon is matched to the murders in BC won’t the father be singing a different tune. I want to know who’s Rav4 it was too.

    1. they confirmed a while back it was Leonard dyck’s rav4, that’s how they discovered who he was. For awhile they had no id on his body and put out a sketch.

  3. “Bc murderers found in big open field beside a huge fire pit with burnt fireworks”
Rcmp- ” they were found in thick dense brush with no possible access for a human

  4. This case doesnt make sense….why are police holding back so much information? What ever caliber the bullets were that were found in the victim’s….should instantly match their guns…? Its not rocket science….

    1. The only part you got right is it is not rocket science forensic examinations have nothing to do with rocketry nor do the police interfere with a forensic medical examination. That in and of itself is a crime. The guns must be sent to a forensic ballistics lab and only after matching the projectiles to test projectiles can a match be made to all of the murders. Circumstantial evidence does point to them being the killers but that cannot be conclusively proven without the detailed forensic examination of the guns including matching the marks left by the guns to the projectiles taken from the murder victims. Let the RCMP and the forensic scientists do their work and do not jump to conclusions.

    2. Eziquiel, you don’t understand what caliber means. Let the professional forensic (ballistics NOT rocket) scientists do their tests.

    1. No. They did this and then killed themselves. Don’t buy into that conspiracy nonsense. Research the facts for yourself instead of watching youtube videos and you will see the mainstream story is legit.

  5. I thought the police searched them the day before they were wanted, and said there was no firearms on them, sounds like someone offed them, then made it look like sucide

    1. maybe the police killed them right away with all those assets out there, and military in the mix, this whole story don’t make sense

    2. …yea supposedly some cop searched their car for alcohol and drugs. So if no guns in the search, where did they get them? This whole story stinks

    3. @C Lopez wrong. Get your facts straight. It wasn’t the cops that stopped them. Stop spreading fake information.

    4. @C Lopez I agree. Where did these 2 young men get guns from that they didn’t have in their car in the first place

  6. Yep, only in Canada where you are asked to participate and they tell you f-all! Thanks for your help folks, now feck-away.

  7. If there was a huge manhunt going on in area wouldnt police hear the sucide gun shots? Not saying they didnt kill themselfs..Just a question

  8. RCMP shot and killed these men ..The RCMP could not have a trial and let the world see how incompetent they handled this case..

  9. What ever happened to those killers , they got what they ask for , this country needs the execution penalty to whoever committed a innocent murder.
