Why’s everybody surprised about current meddling? Mueller warned us that this was happening months ago.
It’s not that they’re reacting to it as if it’s never been heard about before, it’s more a reaction to the response: Maguire being fired, the on-going story that his replacement has zero reason to be there other than politics, and that meddling is bipartisan (which could have been inferred, but wasn’t reported on). It’s the context of the information rather than the information itself, and that context is pretty significant if it essentially shows just how autocratic the government is becoming.
Well Bernie Sanders did vote to convict Trump on the two articles of impeachment. Here, he shows that he’s not a friend of authoritarian strong men or regimes.
