    1. @gespilk …except that’s not how the UBI works. You’re conflating the UBI with part of its revenue source which is the VAT. You’d have to spend 10k/month in order to get nothing from the 1k/month

    2. Bill Turner stop being brainwashed. That’s not the reason I’m voting for him. He’s going to protect us from poisoning our kids. If he was white, you would vote for him. Admit it you would.

    3. Bill Turner just because he’s Asian? I don’t think so. I could say that all American people are fat, and that’s simply not true, or that all Americans are racist. You are. I’m not, and my family got off the mayflower in 1620. That’s simply not true. He was BORN HERE in New York

    1. @Bill Turner1. I personally like the plan. Being on welfare incentivizes some people to stay below a certain income to keep their benefits. If they have the Freedom Dividend to look forward to, than they may pursue a promotion or further education to remove themselves from government assistance.
      2. I’m sure Yang’s research was more in-depth than simply taking The Department of Commerce Retail E-commerce number which was actually above $5.3 Trillion, and applying a 10% tax on it. He will definitely have to apply the VAT towards other consumption segments to hit the $800 Billion he has targeted, but it’s attainable with our $19 trillion economy. He has stated numerous times that goods for basic needs won’t be affected.
      3. Obama’s stimulus checks were part of an overall comprehensive plan and it did get us out of the great recession. Trump’s trickle down economy has backfired on him. Companies like GM promised to create jobs with his tax cuts, and instead moved to Mexico and bought back stock with the savings. He’s called them out on it but it’s too late.

    2. @Bill Turner regardless if that’s true or not he took advantage of existing laws. That’s what you do in business. Thats the government’s fault.

    1. Down4Life 391, Yang only helps the corporations.
      Yang is a deceiver.
Yang’s consumption-based UBI requires somebody to spend so that a small portion of it is taxed and evenly distributed as UBI. LOL
You spend your $1000 and $100 of them are given back to you as UBI in the next cycle. then £10 then $1 .LOL
Three cycles down the line of consumption-based UBI there is no money to distribute if none of the rich want to spend. LOL

It is the reason why the real UBI must be sourced from taxing ownership of Wealth i.e. a Wealth-based UBI.
Yang’s corporate proposal is consumption based UBI…..a fake UBI.

      Yang is a deceiver.

    2. @gespilk nobody gives a fk how many thousands of posts you troll on andrew yangs videos. you aren’t becoming any more relevant. get a fkn life.

    1. @steve119md How does your childish personal attack deflect from the fact that you can’t argue the substance? Oh… Right… It doesn’t. 😉✌

    2. @B Rock I hear ya love! It waists their time… and I’m pretty good at antagonizing them, so it wastes quite a good deal of it. 😉✌

    1. @RakaZet – Black Squad you have to take into account that the cost of doing any type of business since the 70’s has gone up.
Here in NJ, businesses are closing up because of it. We just had a minimum wage increase to $10/hr with it going to $11 by the end of the year. When you throw in all of the other costs involved with running a business, having a sudden $20K+ to payroll doesn’t make it worthwhile.
I’m just skeptical about the whole UBI thing. It cost $13 billion dollars alone back in 2009 to send $250 stimulus checks to 50 million SS recipients. I just don’t see where the money is going to come from to give people $1,000 checks, but I’ll read his plan……..

    2. @Voice of Reason disagree entirely. he has the most active and engaged group of grassroots supporters I’ve ever seen. Go #yanggang !

    3. @Brian Bianco Yep, be sure to read his plan from the links I gave you. I’m actually from Indonesia so I can’t really relate with people there, so it’s expected for you to be skeptical. One of the ways to pay for UBI is by introducing a VAT tax.

  1. This man is trying to save this nation. We need to help him NOW before it’s too late.
Please give your time and or $$ asap thank you 👍

    1. @Christine Molina You are right it wouldn’t be the same old thing with Yang it would be the new thing that many Republicans are licking their chops for would finally get accomplished eliminate the safety net!

    2. @Frank the Tank Are you knocking free speech for people to say who they support or who they don’t support and why? How about all of the Yang supporters all over OTHER candidates sites numerous times the same person with the same postings! Don’t be a hypocrite calling out someone that doesn’t support Yang while Yang supporters are doing the same or worse!
I have also read some Yang supporters in the comment sections telling other people to go “spam” Bernie’s live streams and comment streams with comments about Yang and/or smearing Bernie so please don’t tell me about what someone is doing that doesn’t support Yang!
Everyone is a troll that disagrees LOL

    1. Real answers about fake science.  Yep gotta love that one.  You people are beyond hope.  I contend that each one of these phony candidates knows that climate change is just a ruse to gain absolute power over the lives of every American so they can shove their power down our throats and control every single aspect of your miserable lives.  Make no mistake, if one of these a-holes get there, you will be made miserable.

    1. Why? Nearly every one of his answers he tries to bring it back to his Freedom Dividend plan. He is a 1 trick pony.

  2. I’ve never seen a candidate give real, candid answers to questions, all the dems running right now tip toe around questions or ignore them. Andrew Yang is the truth.

    1. @feedyogirl yes! While the rest are screaming “we need more carriers”, Yang is speaking of the need for more pylons!

    2. What we saw on CNN last night was the depths of stupidity on parade.  Every idea presented was a form of socialist control of everyone’s lives.  To think anyone would be stupid enough to allow themselves to be controlled by these know nothing pseudo intellectuals is beyond reason and just plain irrational.  To assume the planet is in some state of desperate peril based on unproven theories is the very essence of paranoia.  Remember, anyone can program a computer to tell you whatever they want you to believe.  “Its science!”

    3. @Jeffrey Meade Yang is brighter than anybody on your side. And his solutions were not socialism unless you call socialism not continuing, as has been going for over a fucking century, to subsidize oil corporations.
The planet is fine… life is facing horrible problems due to the speed of temperature raising. You might not know how a thermometer works but others do and that warming is not without consequences nor normal. You don’t need a lot of temperature change to destroy species, have animals (us included) face new epidemia, have trillions in infrastructure destroyed or end up with a billion displaced people as most humans are located near the coasts.
But sure, keep increasing the climate change problem while focusing on a couple bearded Muslims in the Middle East… I guess that’s what your fake Jesus would do, hey? Kill, maim, exploit, corrupt and lie… the new gospel according to the GOP.

    1. That’s like an extra $24K tax-free between you and your wife per year for life to help with bills and groceries/food. Let’s make it happen!

    2. @sayjai bao hell yeah man! Yang is talking about direct solutions while these other politicians are just dancing around words.

    1. @issaciams You’re legit deluded if you think Sanders is anywhere close to Yang’s comprehensive understanding of technology and the future. Wake the f up.

    2. Matthew L Bernie and Yang are both good candidates. No one is deluded for preferring one over the other. I personally think Yang’s plan is the best one, but it’s just an opinion

    3. @keco185 Could you imagine a Yang/Sanders ticket? 😀 They would win by a landslide! I just wish Sanders was less prickly about UBI, we needed that years ago, but especially now to transition through the fourth industrial revolution.

  3. im voting for him. smart, common sense and he will be hated by people who do not understand common sense
