1st world nations have been selfish.. We upgraded to secure, safe lives, yet some people on the planet still live like our ancestors did in 1770s, wood burning stoves, cooking over fire, candle light at night, crapping in a hole in the ground, and bathing and drinking in a river.
The US should have upgraded long ago and instead of warring with people, bringing them infrastructure would have won hearts and minds and would have produced peace, not terrorists.

@DrJosper Hey, I’m not specifically against UBI. I’m against deceiving Americans about it (much because they just haven’t explored the issues deeply enough). People are so excited about the $1,000 a month but the devil is in the details. Bernie’s Medicare For All will save families more than that, along with free college and trade schools. Yang doesn’t support Medicare For All either although he leaves it up on his website AND THAT IS DECEPTIVE.

For those who WANT to work, jobs will be provided along with training, education … into new green technology, skilled labor etc but people don’t HAVE to work. Andrew Yang is the only one who has the most diverse coalition to destroy Trump in a landslide victory. I don’t know how anyone could watch multiple candidates answer these questions and not acknowledge that he’s the smartest person running in decades.
