@jays knight king titan No impeachment has been done with this much obstruction. No impeachment has been done without witnesses. This type of hearing, is mentioned directly in the original Constitution, and the president is still ordering witnesses to not participate. if we wanted a king, we would have stayed part of England.
@yurei8 that’s where getting a judge to come in. I guess you don’t get that. Also he did not obstruct congress they just wanted to rush and when a judge was asked they dropped it. If he had denied it after a judge ruled he has to then it would be obstruction. They are not above the president and no impeachment has been investigated in 3 months. All others have taken years and had judges rule on documents. So no the house didn’t do there job so they can’t cry for witnesses now. They said they have overwhelming evidence well produce it and if something is there I’m sure we will see some witnesses but if they have nothing then we won’t. You see trump is innocent until proven guilty just like you or I. The house has to prove without reasonable doubt guilt. I know this is hard to understand. If I were a lawyer going to trial and said this how do you think it would go. That’s why impeachment investigations don’t happen in just over 2 months.

@Roger C All in the military take an oath to protect and defend the US Constitution. When I was in the US Army, president Nixon resigned from office. Now in nazi Germany, the military took an oath to Hitler. So i see the signs of where we are headed.
I believe that our nation (the US), has been blessed, by it’s founding principles, and the actions we have taken in support of those principles. And this is why we have attracted so many good, and hard working people. However I see us as abandoning some of those, these days.
