Who cares if the airlines lose money, they rip us off every time we book a flight!!! Good luck with that.
They offer a service, I can fly across the US and it cost me less than it would be go drive and I get there the same day. I do not believe it is a rip off.

Velo1010 1) Found out yesterday that grandparents brought the virus back and visited the grandkids, who then went to school – a local school 2) The area where my brother lives has closed down theatres etc 3) The experts say this virus will still be here next year. Go watch Rachel Maddow and how reporters are getting the real info from the experts, there is a recording of the call made, played for you to hear on the video. 4) The government were caught removing the recommendation from the experts telling elderly people not to fly… 5) If your happy potentiality spreading the virus to little kids then that says a lot about you… 6) So now here we are with WH officials having to quarantine themselves, while the president who shook both their hands, thinks he’s immune and doesn’t give a poop if he’s a carrier…

Who wants to get on a cramped airplane jammed full of people, breathing recirculated air, and munching on a tiny bag of nuts or pretzels? Then, add in the corona virus?? Their “bottom-line” just got flushed!!
Until they start testing everyone who has died from influenza and pneumonia we will never know what the real mortality rates are.
The symptoms are similar to influenza and pneumonia there have probably been people who died of COVID-19, but were misdiagnosed on their death certificates.
Also, we don’t know the real mortality rate because some governments (China, Iran, USA, and others) lie.
First, wed have to actually test people.
We have the diamond princess cruise ship of largely healthy people who were immediately given western medicine. 705 confirmed cases, 6 deaths. Almost 1%. Pretty bad and much worse than the normal flu, and when you look at death rates of elderly it’s staggering, around 10% for people in their 70s and going up rapidly from there.
If you’re young and healthy, you will almost assuredly be fine. If you’re old…yeah…don’t get it is all I can tell you.
