Then gave enough tax breaks for Amazon to make $10 billion in profits and pay no taxes. He cut all social programs but the federal minimum is ten years stuck at $7.25. He subsidizes the steel industry and farmers. So we can eventually pay that like we are going to pay for the wall. Wake Up! He may leave this country in a bigger mess than Bush did. It’s sadly a part of the American psyche that every 100 years or so you fall back into a masturbatory period where your population and political leadership si mostly concerned with your own interests and damages the international respect the nation has gained before… it happened in the early 1800s, it happened before and after WW I and now it’s happening again.
As bad as “manifest destiny” is as a moral guideline, at least seeing itself as world police has allowed the US to create SOME bonds to positive political movements around the world… whenever you lose sight on that it’s pushing dictators all around.
