    1. @leo lupo it wasn’t a court. It was a DA’s office. It gathered evidence it collated and presented evidence to lay before a jury.

    2. @Ian B O NO smarty pants .. the dems were and R on trial .. Trump won’t be removed and will win 2020 in a landslide

  1. I like that the impeachment process brakes are being applied & slowed down. This is good cause maybe now we can get Mulvaney & Bolton to testify.

    1. No you won’t. If the dems voted to impeach without evidence, then that is their problem. Should have got a court order to make them testify before congress. You do realize that the crooked dems produced not a single fact witness, don’t you.

    1. @Maru telléz ? Ask pelsi why she went from having less then $500 k in 1994 to being worth over $100 million today
Cause she is lucky at the casino?

    2. It was up to the dems to make the case in congress. If the dems voted to impeach without evidence, then that is their problem. Should have got a court order to make them testify before congress. You do realize that the crooked dems produced not a single fact witness, don’t you.

  2. Smart move Pelosi, taking a play out of the RePuticans playbook. Hold out til the senate is willing to do their jobs without the influence of Russian agents.

    1. TheLadyofLace You’re very welcome, I wish you Happy, Safe Holidays, 100% drop-dead gorgeous Lady (I just say what I mean and mean what I say) 😉 X

    2. @The one you love to hate …what a clown, Russian agent. That term bounces around the MSNBC echo chamber a lot. Produce one speck of evidence that anyone in the administration is a Russian agent. It’s obvious on its face but I’d like to see the goofballs try to argue it.

    1. @nutin butruth if he testified under oath in even one (say Mueller, for instance) he would be in legal jeopardy for lying. I’m as confident about that as I am in the sun rising from the east.

    2. @Drealskero If you are so confident then what did trump say or do to collude with russia? Did he pay for a fake dossier and pedal it to his friends at the fbi? Sorry, that was hillary.Did he threaten to withhold funds if they did not fire someone investigating his son? No,that was biden.Did he go around congress and spy on people? No,that was obama.Just the facts right or just don’t comment. You look stupid enough.I am not trying to insult like a liberal would do,i am trying to helo you to not sound stupid.

    3. @nutin butruth oh, you simpleton! He said “Russia, if you’re listening” and Russia was definitely listening, his son and co. took a meeting with Kremlin backed Russians promising dirt on Hilary, his campaign chair shared internal polling data with Russian operatives, he denied US intelligence which squarely puts Russia as the culprit for the 2016 election meddling and deferred to Putin instead. Even now, he’s still spouting Russian talking points buy blaming Ukraine for 2016. You can bury your head in the sand all you want but your king is compromised and has been for much longer than we know. Wait till those tax returns return.

    4. @nutin butruth oh yeah. Completely understandable to sit on evidence or testimony that could completely exonerate one, or at the very least, give a rational explanation for what one did.

    1. @Skeave You know why Trump will remain in office? Because the majority of Americans want him to and there’s absolutely nothing Pelosi or anyone else in congress can do about it

    2. @Rocker that’s not true either. Even fox news polls disagree with you. A recent poll showed that 54% want him impeached and 50% want him removed.

    3. @Skeave Have you seen the crowds at his rallies? Even bigger than 2016. If the case is so solid why doesn’t Pelosi give the articles to the senate? The country is the strongest its been since Reagan and the opposition doesn’t like the way he’s gone about it. That’s no reason to impeach a president

    4. @Rocker now you’re moving the goal posts. His rallies contain a small fraction of the people in this country and have nothing whatsoever to do with overall support or opposition to impeachment. As to your question, I can’t believe that you don’t know the answer to that. Not only has Pelosi said why, it’s very obvious based on the fact that McConnell has let it be known that he’s not going to hold a real trial and is going to take his cues from the President’s lawyers.

    5. @Skeave What I’m saying is polls don’t accurately capture what’s going on. Hence 2016. As for the fairness of a trial, McConnell is following the precedent set by the three other impeachments and trials. Its Pelosi and the house that changed the rules. The house has such a weak, partisan case they don’t want to prosecute it and be embarrassed. Pelosi is trying to dictate and change the process of the senate so she can get the outcome she wants. The senate is doing exactly what they did for President Clinton

  3. “The American people want to hear the evidence.
They want to hear from these witnesses that the president has refused to allow to testify.”

    1. @Josh Allen “why should they comply with congressional subpoenas”
      Because its the LAW !!
Why do you stop a stop sign?

    2. Yes let’s hear from all the witnesses. I want Joe and Hunter Biden there to answer questions of corruption. Also Joe can answer if quid pro quo is such a bad crime why wasn’t he held accountable for it. Obama was also mentioned by Joe as being on board so where was the outcry against him. Hypocrites.

    3. @Michael Alexander …uh, didn’t say “errors”, I said “nonsense”… you should know the difference, genius…

    4. @yellow dog The first line of my response to you was “Point out the nonsense.” I thought that would be an obvious enough response and acknowledgement of your use of the word nonsense.
You did not point out one single thing in my entry that qualifies as nonsense.

I asked you to point out any errors as well, not instead of whatever you are referring to as nonsense. Besides, the definitions of those two words aren’t mutually exclusive, so I’m not sure what point you are trying make.

All I’m getting from your responses are character attacks without any details to back up your assertions that what I’ve entered here is nonsense.
If you have something specific that you can point to that you consider nonsense, please point it out.
If you just want to disregard another point of view as nonsense and go for the simple path of attacking character in lieu of being able to make a coherent argument, carry on with that as well.
That doesn’t give me or anyone else an opportunity to see something that we may be not aware of or correct any possible misinformation. I’m not a genius. I am aware that I don’t know or understand everything. Attacking me for that while not supplying any other information is not really useful in discourse, but it can give oneself a sense of superiority. Not sure if that’s what you are going for.

  4. This impeachment was perfect, it was a perfect impeachment. I mean just read the articles, it was a perfect impeachment.

    1. @Toward Treatise no one is downloading your garage…with the solexception of fellow lunaticsuch as yourself…how does it feel to be oh so alone in thisea of sanity? The river of Donial is waiting for you to drown/drone yourself in…glug glug glug

    2. @BrIan CurtiSmith it is sad so few swim in the sea if sanity nowadays… I blame television. Using an argument based on evidence and merit is somehow below prejudice and intimidation tactics for too many people, just as long as they’re right. That’s why I care about the separation of power in government, nobody’s perfect.

    3. @Malcom S and if you really want to know whose mind I want to change, idk, it happened to me this way.. I was a loud and proud liberal back in the Bush and beginnings of Obama. I’m trying to make peace with it or something. ❤

  5. Thank you, thank you, thank you Chairman Schiff for all your hard work protecting our Constitution and Democracy from this conman trump! Thank you Speaker Pelosi and all Representative’s in the House who voted to Impeach corrupt trump! Thank you to all Chairman’s over these six committees!

We did it Chairman Cummings, we Impeached the most corrupt illequiped poor excuse for a “president” ever. Now mcconnell and graham DO your JOB REMOVE AND JAIL trump! SAVE OUR COUNTRY AND THE REST OF THE WORLD FROM trump and the cowardly gop thugs!

    1. Little Carolyn, That was a false report that was told to Schitt by a scammer. We all had a good laugh over that. Some people just never wake up. There are over 137 thousand sealed indictments and they are about to be unsealed. Something BIG is coming. POTUS was not harmed in any way today other than on paper (history books).
Sometimes you must sacrifice yourself for the greater good.
“I will gladly take all those slings and arrows for you.” – POTUS
But, even that, can be undone.
The enormity of what is coming will SHOCK THE WORLD. Open your eyes little one

    2. CD Smith first of all, just the fact there is a transcript is a nice change of pace from the lack of transparency with Obama, and then Ukraine didn’t even know aid was being withheld… says itself there’s no quid pro quo, and then it wasn’t withheld, how could it be bribery? And is it wrong to investigate any crime just because the one who committed it is a potential political rival? What if he’s the president? Shouldn’t every dem that voted be impeached on their own logic on just that alone?

    3. @CD Smith the “favor” he asked for was about Ukraine providing information pertaining to the previous Ukrainian government’s meddling in the 2016 election. There was nothing wrong with discussing possible corruption involving Burisma. If during the Obama admin, US aid was being funneled into the bank accounts of the Biden, Pelosi, and Kerry familys, wouldn’t you want to know? and isn’t it OK to address the theft of our tax dollars?

  6. lol they are going to hold onto these articles until dropping them equals accountability LOL nice good for you dems pulling a page from mconnels playbook grim reaper of senate trials hahahah

    1. @Mark bodman hoping to ensure the trial isn’t going to be the sham that Moscow Mitch has openly stated he wants to make it.

    2. @Heywood Jablowme Republicans write words just like dogs speak words. Conversely, republicans speak words just like dogs write words.

  7. Mitch McConnell needs to be fair stop blocking witnesses from coming forward to testify! Country first not tRump! Smh

    1. @LAST CALL Congress issued over a dozen subpoenas for firsthand witnesses and documents, and Trump blocked them all. Congress invited the Exec branch to participate and they refused. Can’t claim anything about Congress blocking witnesses when it was all Trump’s doing.

    2. If the dems voted to impeach without evidence, then that is their problem. Should have got a court order to make them testify before congress. You do realize that the crooked dems produced not a single fact witness, don’t you.

    1. @Clark Williams that’s a ridiculous criminal circus statement that wont fly this time the world is watching this dirty Republican party and its criminal conspiracy that is falling like a house of cards any day now yes Sir sorry to say its over now buddy lmao

  8. 🎵 I wish you a Merry Impeachmas,
I wish you a Merry Impeachmas,
I wish you a Merry Impeachmas
    and a Trump-free New Year. 🎵

CONGRATULATIONS from Holland.🤗 I’m so happy, the second victory for the good people of the U.S. And if the Senate doesn’t remove him; Vote him out! Vote him out! No crazy cartoonish Mussolini in the White House. Say no to fascism, racism, nazism and dictatorships!

  9. Bring ALL witnesses. The Dems should use this time to bring more Articles: Emoluments, and as they charged Andrew Johnson with 11 Articles: #10  “attempt to bring into disgrace, ridicule, hatred, contempt and reproach, the Congress of the United States”. and #11 Bringing disgrace and ridicule to the presidency by his aforementioned words and actions.
This is the time to move forward and seal the Traitor’s fate. Oh and Putin just gave a speech against the Impeachment.

  10. As I watched these impeachment hearings it occurred to me where had honor and decency gone on the part of the peers of this president ?
It’s surreal watching it I lived through Watergate I lived through The Clinton impeachment a d in my 50 years of voting in a e never seen any more reprehensible behavior on behalf of a president and his cabinet it’s embarrassing and shameful.
Everything our country has stood for for over 200 years is in shambles and unless this evil deviant person some call president ( I certainly don’t ) he will, continue to be his disgusting self.
Just when I thought he couldn’t sink any lower he chooses to go after Debbie Dingle a d her late husband it’s his m.o. deflect by all means to keep the heat of himself we as Americans must stand united and see that this will NEVEG happen to our country again

  11. “No president can recover from an impeachment hearing, win or lose. His career is over.” ~ Donald J. Trump, 2014
