If you need a refresher, there are three branches of government, what every voter should know: Executive (POTUS & VP), Legislative (Congress = Senate, House) and Judicial (Supreme Court). Polls are worthless. Look at the sample sizes. No way that few people can accurately represent millions of voters.
Polls are spectacularly predictive and correct 99% of the time. You should study how they work – weighting, sampling, methodolgies, margin of error, etc.
CNN’s poll of polls gave CLinton a slim 4% lead on election eve. The margin of error was 3.5%. She won the popular vote by 2% (3,000,000 votes). The polls work just fine.

You have to register.
When the votes are counted the registered voters have to add up to the returned ballots. Or be less than.
You can’t have 11 million registrations and then get back 20 million votes.

It’s harder than it seems, but doable in states where the machines are connected to the internet.
You know just last week in an interview with one of Florida’s top supervisors of elections employee,
She said in 2016 they knew the machines were hacked but before they could check the hard drives Rick Scott had the machines pulled and the hard drives ripped out.
She said they still are unsure of who won in Florida.
So yes it is possible. JB doesn’t need Florida to win. It would be nice but it’s not necessary.
