Young Americans on spring break in south beach are going to spread this disease.
Italy coronavirus rise to 3405 death, 6 hours ago it was 2984
@MajorLeague Maybe you could sneak in there.
@tim ahlf South beach has police. Maybe in Palm Beach and north.
@Phoenix Christ if you mean the devil you are totally right he is..
Where did you hear that ? The Media . The same Media that reported that Building
7 collapsed , 10 min before it actually did. 2012 Smith -Mundt act . look it up
It gives the media the ability to use propaganda and to lie to the American people
236 CEO’s from Major corporations from Disney to yahoo, resigned and cash
their shares 1month before the crash . What are the chances of that .
Tool .
can it be spread through sexual contact? do we need condoms?
*Young Americans on spring break in south beach are going to spread this disease*
wont be the only disease they spread
We are not gonna have spring break most likely
That’s what I said. They’re the reason this is gonna spread even more
I’m 22, have been introverted for a while, and am ashamed on these people are still partying during this epidemic. They obviously lack common sense. No wonder why older adults are judging us thinking that we lack experience.
You know, suddenly I don’t wonder why they also spread STDs
*Americans would not adhere to a lockdown of any sort. theres a real troll culture here where people would spread the virus just for the sake of spreading it.*
Yup, and these stupid tik tock kids spreading it for a challenge!
Stfu. It’s called life. Freedom. YOU stay in…. Nature does transmit people do
@catalinacurio China is lying about their numbers
@KUMA BABARA Yes, it’s true.
@KUMA BABARA It’s true. The jerk took a video of himself licking the ice cream and put it on youtube. He was arrested. This happened months before the c-virus if that’s any consolation.
Give our grocery cashiers gloves masks and protection here in U.S.! Wtf ! It’s ridiculous
Just Heather you are right !!
Anne thank you. I appreciate that a lot! Maybe I missed my calling. I’m nowhere near thirty yet so maybe I can go back to school for it lol
@Ankit j I think cashiers should wear gloves too. All you can do is wear gloves yourself.
My wife worked at Walmart until last Monday. She is Chinese. She was using a mask at her cashbox for weeks and many of her customers were nasty towards her…telling her to go back to China and take her virus with her. Others criticized her telling her that Trump says its no worse than the common flu and that she was being ridiculous. Her family in China is only now going back to work, and not everyday, after three months of isolation. Walmart now has call in your order and pick up for those who wish the service. In China since January, this has been the way groceries have been obtained. Only last week were people allowed to go to market. It makes sense to me to do what they did….this has been criticized by many for being totalitarian….sounds like common sense to me. Stay away from groups and follow safe living skills if products ever get back on the shelves. Good luck!
My wife “was” a cashier, is Chinese American, wore a mask at her cashbox and some, “Good Americans,” told her she was ridiculous for wearing a mask and to go back to where she came from and take her China Virus with her. I wonder where they got “China Virus” from? Cashiers, like doctors, nurses, emergency responders and others all work closely with others. We couldn’t find masks here for over two months so my wife makes her own. Are the masks more than a feel good, hope this helps, response to the virus…I don’t know. Should there be enough masks for those most at risk…yes. For those hoarding and selling supplies at exorbitant prices…there should be legal action taken against you, but there probably won’t be..I would say shame on you but its clear you don’t know what shame is. Good luck to everyone, even the haters and hoarders.
I am telling you…. Spring break in the south with all these crazy kids is going to be the trigger of this war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop those idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Crystal Giddens The anti-trump stance on coronavirus is driven by the fact that trump called it a hoax, said the virus would miraculously disappear – which was supposed to happen last week.
Got parents? Got grandparents? Do you care about them? Are you and all of them in perfect health?
@Crystal Giddens a trump cultist is addicted to fear – fear of immigrants, fear of people with a ‘dark’ skin, fear of people with more open and compassionate mindsets than their own. Male trump cultists have an additional fear – women.
People can be addicted to fear the same way as being addicted to drugs. The trump cultists get their ‘fix’ by going to trump rallies and watching Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Ben Shapiro, Alex Jones and sundry and assorted alt-right lunatic fringe conspiracy theorists. Like drug addicts, fear addicts are unable to be rational and objective about their addiction and how it is affecting their lives, their behaviour and the lives of the people around them.
Florida and Alabama beaches are closing tomorrow at 7 am. What about the beaches in NJ and California.
We are too late buddy, for everything. Prepare for enslavement.
@Jackie Treehorn My grandpa used to have a saying; “If you throw a rock into a pig pen, the one that squeals must be the one that got hit.”
This is just too surreal, people take their lives for granted. Tomorrow is NEVER PROMISED🥺. Stay safe and strong 🌍♥️
Its chinas fault
@a.m educate yourself
Thanks, I hope you and your fam are safe.💌 salutes from L.A.
Well said! 🙏🏻⬆️👍🏻❤️😇😎
Whats surreal is 236 CEO’s( from corporations like Disney to Yahoo ) resigned
and cash their stocks 1 month before the crash . Funny Mainstream Media
didn’t say anything about that, Nor did they say anything about the
Bi Partisan earn it bill that was introduced on march 12 . Another
bill that allows the government to step on your 1st and 4th amendment
rights . Just like they introduced the patriot act after 9/11
This is not comforting at all. Kudos to all drs. and nurses on the front lines.
This sort of reporting is going to get people killed. Italy has only been in lockdown for 9 days. It could take over a month to know how a lockdown is working–perhaps longer. This irresponsible reporting–questioning the efficacy of a lockdown this soon–will cause the populace to insist that we just let the vulnerable die. I’ve not been critical of reporting up until now, but this is absolutely irresponsible and outrageous.
@Madison Heights This is totally uncharted territory. Don’t be so judgemental nothing is certain at this point. Everything should be examined to figure out what works and what doesn’t. What the reporter said is its unclear.
They deserve a nice bonus or raise
Willful ignorance is gonna get masses of folks killed in America!
DENIALISM was rampant In Italy 2 weeks ago.
@Charles Reeves Read this to understand where we will be in 20 days: https://medium.com/@tomaspueyo/coronavirus-act-today-or-people-will-die-f4d3d9cd99ca
@Charles Reeves You are going to get people killed with your misinformation like trump. Move on buddy.
@B4 freedomfighter Keep doing you, ignorant fool like those spring breakers and when they spread it, along with you, don’t say “I didn’t know”.
@Mickey Rosa you’re confusing I don’t know with I don’t care.
This virus does NOT warrant this response. Did we shut down business and hide in our houses for influenza? 40-50’000 died this past season from flu but I don’t recall all this nonsense with that pandemic. Why not shut down the country for influenza every year?
Rick Scott says it’s abysmal that the Spring Breakers are gathering but he does nothing officially to control it. Complete lack of leadership will lead to many deaths.
@Honey Blue yes. It provides job right now. My company just laid off a couple thousand people today. Lucky I’m not one of them YET.
Ed Dursky what a dumb comment. This isn’t about politics you pos troll
Rick Scott is a senate not our governor bud
Poor leadership is why this disease was able to spread. Government leaders being reactive instead of proactive. I’ve known about this for a couple of months so I’m sure they have too.
@Brittany S Bingo. I started buying extra for household in mid Jan. Not hoarding but needed things as I am over 60 with health conditions. It has severely limited my having to go out.
Unfortunate it’s time the whole world work together to fix this. Hopefully we can
Not with trump
it’s that one kid People in the government are getting infected
Ummm no… Asians and Whites need to fix this. Let us (black ppl) know when you find a cure. Well talk then
Damien Scott lmao. We know you don’t speak for all black people, so we’ll just ignore that.
But in case you were wondering, there are many well educated black people working side by side with other races to find a cure for this. You just stay in your little segregated hole and the white man will let you know when it’s safe
@S Y Thank You. I think I’m banging my girlfriend wrong too and could really use your help with that! Modern day *SUPER HERO!*
This report got me. I am speechless, feel totally powerless and I really have no words how to describe how sorry I am for the Italian nation. They don’t deserve it, we don’t deserve it … none of us. I really don’t know what to say, how to help, I just know I love them…
@votes- have consequences as a matter of fact I am italian so yeah I do
@demarco chapman Hi Demarco.Rainey is right. He was talking about road accidents in Italy and not in USA. In USA we have aprox.38800 people who lost their lives. Let`s wait 1-2 months to see how many people will die from COVID 19. I hope will be a small number. I pray God.
Never change brother 🙏💙
@John Banich I’m speaking of Rod accidents GLOBALLY. But carry on
@hidden
Il Padre celeste possa la tua grazia andare alle famiglie dei cari perduti. lacrime
Might I suggest we start with pushing all the spring break idiots out to sea?
Let them have their fun. This virus does not warrant this response.
I listeed to those young people and thought, how thoughtless of them. They are probably right that their risk of dying is not as high as older people. Did they stop to think that they could get the virus and pass it on to their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who are all in the higher risk categories? Did they stop to think that most of the colleges and universities are taking additional time off due to the virus and that the dorms might be closed and that they would have to go home? “Mom, I’m Home.” might have dire consequences those youngsters didn’t consider. Another example of the self-first generation. Good luck to everyone. Hopefully, this will not go down in history as the Black Plague of the 21st century.
ooops..listened to those young people…i’m old…forgive me.
@Robert Guilbault Did you think this about seasonal flu as well? Did you insist that young people not congregate on the beach or have fun because they might bring the flu home to grandma? Before you answer, let me give you some numbers:
1100 or so dead from corona virus in the United states thus far
Average age of deceased :80
22-55’000 dead this past season from influenza with similar age distribution with more dead infants.
Think about it.
@Liberty AboveAllElse America was built on Common Sense…nothing sensible about how this has been handled. I have always been aware of the death rates from the “common flu” between 30 and 60 thousand a year…horrible. My mother was hospitalized for the flu several times before she died and in her old age. Frankly, I have also seen the petri dish environment of large congregations of people and have avoided them…I dont miss not having participated… I never needed circus and I’ve always worked for my bread. Stay safe.
Restrict the grocery store hours so everybody can crowd in tighter when they’re open. 👍👍
Exactly what I’ve been saying!!
I’m going to find a 24hr store, you pay more but I can go in the middle of the night.
Well hoarders were actually right…who knew?
@gene colon hoarders are NEVER right, they are mindless animals driven by instinct and panic
@I love bbw Never right? They prepared for the future and now they have enough supplies they don’t need to go shopping with everyone else and possibly get the virus. Hoarding food and other supplies is a smart thing, everyone should have enough supplies to last them for awhile. Now these people have enough supplies to last while others are panicking trying to get what they need to survive.
So dreadfully sad that once a loved one enters hospital and then ICU in Northern ltaly they must die alone and the family can’t be with them to say goodbye or hold a funeral.
@La Luba Stronger than you might suppose. This is a huge Country, so by necessity people do not remain local. Europe has a stronger tradition for sure … but look at any Thanksgiving holiday and you will see very strong family bonds.
@pspicer777 It was ironic. A chain is not stronger than it’s weakest link! How can you break the chain of transmission if people can’t afford to stay at home when they are sick?
@La Luba LL, this is not a circumstance that has easy answers. There are a lot of different circumstances. We bought around 50 laptops for our employees, put into place procedures, and sent everyone home. There are a lot of companies doing the same. Other people cannot, but they are changing the work environment do distancing can be achieved. For those not able, there looks to be financial assistance. It goes on and on. Not sure there is just one answer.
In America too
@hidden So very sorry to you. A friends father died (not of virus) and they could not go to say goodbye and cannot have a funeral for who knows how long. It is very difficult for them. I think every single country affected by the virus should sue China.
This is the absolute worst time to work in the medical field
I am honored to be working in the medical profession at this time. I would just like to see better personal protection equipment while I am working. I fear spreading the virus as a healthcare worker is way worse than me getting It myself. It’s not just nurses and Doctors at risk. It is respiratory therapists, x- Ray technicians, lab technicians, janitors, transporters …the list could go on. Also, all of these workers have family that they can spread it to.
@R L T Yes we can!
My sister just landed a job in the ER about three weeks ago. She graduated nursing school in December. She’s gonna be a nursing veteran before her career has even started
hidden thank you! I live in Denmark, and I hope your grandmother is in safe hands and makes a swift recovery.
Eva Adams thank you☀️ and yeah, let’s not get any false hopes you know how the world works
Limiting the grocery store hours concentrates the amount of customers into a smaller window of time, and will result in overlapping contact.
@D E “Only letting them in a few at a time, so no”…yeah, right, and so WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE WAITING TO GET INTO THE UNCROWDED STORE? Did you say, “bunched up outside in a queue like sardines”? So does that make your comment TOTAL BS? Yes, it does!
Here, there’s social distancing on the lines when paying for your stuff. And they limit the number of people inside so it’s not crowded. There’s also a line of people waiting to get in (also practicing social distancing). Like at a small pharmacy with some grocery items, they only allow 5 people. The hours of operation is also shorter because we have a curfew at 8 pm. Most stores are closed by 6 or 7 because employees need to walk home (if without a car).
Here in Belgium the stores are only allowed in 1 person per 10m2. The bigger the store the more People that are allowed in at a time.
It’s exploding here massivly.
D E not a single store where I live is doing that soooooooooo actually no.
I think you are right but the stores just cannot keep the stores disinfected and the shelves stocked. Our stores north of Boston have early elder hours but are not limiting the amount of people in the store at one time. I have gone once and the store was mobbed with elders. Maby after a week or so the amount of people at once will lessen. I hope. The hours open for all others are jam packed with shoppers.
Doesn’t matter how advanced the medical system is if it’s overwhelmed.
@MajorLeague from my pov Italy started sooner than other countries so other countries are going to have our same problems days later. From what I can see the situation is the same just a few days behind both in europe and the us, everybody is following our same path. Even the public debates are the same trust me. So, and I tell u this, get ready now so you dont have to be sorry later, hope for you i am wrong but most probably i am not, and especially try to convince ur older family members that it will get worse, they risk a lot.
@Tommaso Bicego I say the US started 3 weeks prior and China many months before.
96% of those tested for covid-19 (based on symptoms) end up negative and had another virus – cold or flu. 8’000 dead in Italy each year from seasonal influenza.
@Gary Oakham Let me know when Republicans stop hiring them.
@Gary Oakham drop your political agenda loser! How many hospitals could we build if we use the wall money! ??? How many?
Starting to sound like medieval times when the plague took over.
Huh? Open a nonfiction book.
@Mad Max Exactly the problem going on right now. The fear and hysteria caused by the virus is far more dangerous than the virus itself.
@Andyc Ofin. You’re right about that. But in those times societies had bad habits in the field of self health. Bad habits in general with lack of corporal cleaning. They only took a bath per month. Life was not good in general. They used to have lots of dirty water in the middle of the streets! Even though they were healthy enough to work. But in those conditions sometimes they faced plenty of diseases. And they were infected in 1918 with the Spanish Flu. Bad habits were just around the corner to make that happen. They did not even have a microscope to see the viruses. They were all in danger of having dirty societies! Now we have ruled out every single shop. Clean streets. We have new conditions. Scientists have found the causes of those problems!
Not even close. Please, if you’re going to compare 2 historical events, do your damned homework.
@Pinkpixy Lady you’re right about that. In fact nowadays scientists could find study and eradicate harmful viruses! Today we have found new chemicals that could be used to do that! For the sake of Mankind!
Hi from Italy, just wanted to say that the reporter has described the situation accurately, it’s nice to see reliable news well done MSNBC. Good luck US hope you stop this virus quickly.
@QueenOfStamford Yeah okay, but… let’s get real, it really wasn’t.
My hats off to all of Italy for their honesty in battling this thing! All of you are in my thoughts and prayers…. stay safe and my deepest regards to all!
@Apollo fraud will be exposed when virus crisis ends buona fortuna miei amici italiani. May your humanity teach us Americans real strength.
@Mickey Rosa grazie so much best wishes for you to stop this virus soon so that your country is spared the difficult moment we are experiencing here
@Apollo fraud will be exposed when virus crisis ends You’re welcome, stay well.
I can’t wait for the day when they announce that covid19 is gone and we can all go back to normal
“Back to normal?” Normal will have to be redefined.
This is not realistic. This will just become another flu once a vaccine is made. But it will never go away.
@Angie G so how do you think the next few days are gonna progress? Can we be in lock down for a month???
@High Plains Drifter depending on your city it might be different. But here in LA we are stuck at home until further notice. I would recommend to be ready for at least 2 months of staying home. Stay safe!
@mmxd when they finally do announce, it will mean that the second battle have begun.
