Transportation, Fiscal, Financial Management, Crime, Corruption and Leadership
I thank God I am no longer living in Jamaica I have being through it all the government in Jamaica do not care about its people they are bad.
As long they are ok. , themselves, their best friends, children and grandchildren, they definitely don’t care about anyone else.
Portmore I live, this is cruel, I use to be in that situation but thank God since the start of Covid, God bless me with a car.
I pray for those who are stranded.
They took off the executive by hiking the fee they pay yearly. Government is cruel.
We are in a road crisis not transportation. The road is too clustered. We need larger road ways. Everyday young people are buying cars but the road ways are too narrow.
The long wait is ridiculous. By the time the kids or adults get to school or work Not to mention getting home. Its exhausting
9-10 ppl in a 7 seater must is rough. Imagine if you are tall or over weight.
There is an Andrew Holness problem in Jamaica. Andrew Holness must Go
If this is happening in Kingston that seems to be the only parish in Jamaica, can you imagine St Thomas, the little taxis and vans can’t survive on the bad roads. Look at the school children, they pack up just like sardines; sitting in each other laps. Reaching schools and their homes some various hours. For adults 3 seats in a van or taxi seated up to four or 5 people.
only Kingston is Jamaica apparently
Thatโs the same thing I was saying what about other parishes especially St Thomas Morant bay thereโs hardly any bus to transport the children to sch. This is sickening
C’mon Jamaica get rid of Andrew Holness and vote UIC
Yes! There’s a public transportation problem for the pass months now.
The information manager should had been shame to come on air taking about busses that 10-12 years old. Which shows that since J.L.P has been in power thay haven’t in no way try to purchase a new fleet of busses for the transport sector. Forcing commuters to take ๐ taxi which cost $300.00 to travel from portmore to halfway tree and $150-$200 from portmore to downtown Vis versus.
This has led me to believe that there are high officials in the public transport system that is benefiting from the crisis in the transportation sector directly or indirectly. Yes nuff of these executive managers have private busses and taxis on the road running..
๐ฃYEESS!!! ๐ขYEESS!๐ฃ๐ข๐๐ค . A country without a proper bus service is not safe.
It is a severe crisis!!! The transportation system is also vulnerable because taxis and buses can strike (and they have all right to strike sometimes) leaving people completely stranded
I appreciate this highlight/coverage on this issue…. It’s frustrating yow
Yes. It is for years
Long time yall late, repent ye nations ๐๐ผ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐
The kids are locked out of school for being late…smh
Glad tvj finally looked at this
Bcuz the government choose to grant road license where not much ppl travels from and leave the route that the majority travels stranded… This happens on the Pt Maria to Ocho Rios route and the transport minister fails to grant the route to cars
