    4. I heard there was a sharknado on capitol hill on Jan. 6th, 2021, but it didn’t surprise me in the least. Only surprise was the discovery of a new species : The shitshark. And yes, it is either orange and bloated or all red with stupid eyes.

  7. The guy was in the water, looking at the shark, mentioning how it had already bumped his cage twice, and then reacts to another bump by saying “What was THAT? Was that a shark?” That is absurdly unconvincing. Looks like the footage was cut together misleadingly. Maybe that bit was shot separately in a misguided attempt to add drama.

      You mean the underwater drone? You know there are underwater drones they use for most of these underwater shots. Sometimes they just put a camera on a long poll and stick it in the water.

  8. My first impression when I saw that transparent cage was that it’s way too small and that the shark could just tip it over. Why didn’t that guy use common sense?

  9. So they went from getting into steel cages and lowering them into the water to a 6×4 3ft tall piece of plexiglass. Then have the nerve to be surprised when it provides zero protection.🥴🤪🤡

  10. I love it when people who disrespect nature by thinking they are smarter than nature, learn otherwise. It’s no different in my eyes than someone breaking & entering another persons obvious home. Glad he’s ok tho.

  12. “A very experienced shark expert”? No, a total idiot. Who couldn’t see what was coming? Risking a man’s life by putting him in a flimsy plastic box with a great white shark in open water is beyond criminal. He ended up splashing about in just the right way to provoke an attack. Who would have accepted responsibility if he had been eaten on camera? (“Oh, he knew what he was getting into. This has never happened before. Lessons will be learned etc.”) Disgusting.

    1. @Andy Whitesell They always call it a “shark attack” to make it more emotive. The truth is sharks don’t attack, they eat. If they bite something they don’t want they spit it out. Unfortunately that can be a bit grim for the unwanted lunch.

    3. He was knocking on the sides of the tank to attract it. It worked a treat – it was attracted! There didn’t seem to be anything for him to hang onto in that tank – though he might not have been able to anyway, after the impact that turned the tank upside down – and OK – I get it – he was panicking – but the cardinal rule when you’re in the water with sharks is that you don’t splash – you use your flippers to move, not allowing them to break the surface and you swim as soothly and as quietly as possible. I wonder if the shark was distracted by that rope in its mouth. It could have been what saved him.

    4. When I saw the “idiot” tapping on the glass, l thought ” game on! she is going to have an idiot sandwich”, and then the other guy “we learned alot”..may ask what? Train the shark to eat people! Good Job….jez

  17. IMO-it looked the shark was being provoked – tapping on the cage, It just reacted by a tactical bottom to top attack maneuver.

  20. I would love to see the follow up footage, like how the rest of the night that swimmer had, did he just go home, did you all go out to a bar and have a celebratory beer? What were the swimmers thoughts and feelings after a close call with a shark like that? How did he spend his time the rest of the day?
